The quality of a stay you get for the price you pay is amazing. My room was really clean and had a lot of space and everything you need, fridge, closet, table, chairs, AC and the bed seemed almost brand new. The toilet is also spacious. The location is great, bus and tram lines close by which take you everywhere in Belgrade. The receptionist was very nice and explained everything well. The buffet breakfast was great and it is served from 7-10 so there is plenty of time to go eat. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here.

The wifi was a bit slow and a couple things in the room were broken, like the shower holder. The room was a little hot despite the AC, as it was quite an old model.

The room was just fine: while the facilities were quite dated (the whole place had a strong 90s vibe), you can tell they're doing what they can to take good care of the hotel. The room was very clean: no visible signs of mold or rust in the bathroom, no signs of pests, no dirty sheets or towels, no nasty smells, etc. Things like aircon, shower, outlets also worked just fine, nothing was broken. The wi-fi worked flawlessly, you can easily do some remote work if you need to. The included breakfast was pretty basic and the selection of foods and drinks was not that large, but that's to be expected given the price. I also found the location of the hotel quite convenient, it's close to the city centre and easy to get to places on foot. Overall, I think that you do get what you pay for: it's a decent place to stay if you're on a budget, but don't want to give up the level of comfort that comes with 3+ star hotels.

1. At one point in the evening, the water in my room was barely hot. Wasn't a big issue for me and I'm not sure why it happened, but be prepared that it's something that can occur. 2. The room didn't have a kettle, which would be a nice addition.

Me and my husband have stayed in this hotel for several times. This time we found the hotel renovated and well cleaned. It was very cozy, comfortable bed, better colors of the walls :-) , clean sheets and towels. A lot of tv programs. Everybody are very polite, nice and helpful. You can pay in euros, no need to exchange money which was great. Breakfast is ok. No too many dishes, but it was quite enough. The gibanica is must :-) and proja and that fabulous cake with apples. If you like to drink coffee it is better to order it, it is not expensive at all. The hotels has great location and if you travel by car they have free parking which is a huge plus. The water is drinkable :-)

It was very very hot in the room. The air condition worked well although was very old. It was cleaned (it had that chemical smell) but it is on bad position. It blows directly to the bed. The windows are older and metal and get hot very easily. The refrigerator was very noisy. The tv frozen now and then showing only blue picture. However, none of these is minus to this hotel!

Good hotel in a great location - bus stop near the hotel, tram’s to different city parts and bus to airport just a couple mins of walk. A lot of cafes/bars and groceries around. Nice breakfast if to compare to the price you are paying. Room (linen and towels were white ) was clean, but on the floor it was very strong cigarette smell (despite the signs of Non-smoking). AC working was super strange, but maybe it’s just me

Good location and value, clean room, easy going and friendly staff, ok breakfast.

Mostly I like all things in Rex hotel. The service was excellent, I stayed for 3 nights and every morning the housekeeper changes the towel and cleaned. When the air conditioner in the room doesn’t work Properly, they sent immediately technician to fix it but in the end they changes the room to out my expectations.the room more big and has living room, kitchen and also balcony.i was soo happy. The reception so kind if you need something or information they will help and guide you. And for the breakfast was excellent.love it. For sure I will be back again when I come to Belgrade.

The location is very good, not so far to all main attractions 10-15 minutes if you walk and use local transportation. In between city centre, old town and the city beach Ada Ciganlija. The hotell offer a okay breakfast buffet and gives overall good value for money. An advice is to download the app Beogradplus for local buses, cost 120 RS per day, and use Google Maps to get information about which bus you should choose. It works really well.

The facilities are some old and need some renovation. The stuff is helpful but quite bad at say hi and make you feel welcome. The breakfast buffet is okay and not bad at all for the price of the room, but it misses that little extra, like, for example, using plastic glas for juice and yoghurt in a three star hotell is not okay.

Room was fairly quiet. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ample variety and adequate quality. The facilities are old and dated….but….I found that charming and enjoyed the experience. Cleanliness was not an issue, everything was well maintained in that department.

If you plan on walking around, the location is not that convenient for Stari Grad, Knez Mihailosa, etc. It was almost convenient for the central bus station….until they moved the station last week to New Belgrade! The location is not wonderful for a tourist…unless you plan on walking A LOT, or taking taxis and buses everywhere.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rex. The breakfast was plentiful, and as someone with celiac disease, I truly appreciated the special attention I received. The location is perfect for visiting all neighborhoods, with a bus stop conveniently right next to the hotel. The staff were friendly and very welcoming, on the morning of my departure (3 a.m.), they even arranged an airport shuttle for me. Highly recommended!

Location! For the price.. it's very well located, not exactly in the hotspot but not far. The room was very spacious (great bed) with everything you can ask for. Good fridge. Very very quiet - big plus. Super close to supermarket. It's an old building giving you a throwback in time vibe.

I like the breakfast... But it's just meh I guess. Bigger glasses would be nice. The shower had the doors completely difficult to operate (broken and old) (small nitpicking).
