Lovely Hotel, stayed in a Junior suite which gave us access to little 24hr exec lounge for coffees and snacks Breakfast great with plenty of choice Right next to the main train station, bus stops (airport bus no. 61 - 25 mins @ €2 each!), tram stop outside hotel into old town and easy walking distance 15 ! 20 mins if you wanted to stretch your legs. If you’re staying a few nights it’s worth getting a 3 day tram/ bus ticket from the yellow machine at the stop for just €11 and the you can hop on hop off as much as you wish. Just buy the ticket and when you get on the first journey you validate it at the onboard machine and the clock starts ticking from there. Wish we’d known about it earlier as we paid the taxi $35 from the airport!

We really enjoyed the breakfast, there were good options and it stayed on until 10:30am which is good when you are on holiday. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a kettle to make drinks in the room also. The staff was friendly, we also left out bags there after check out which was useful. We enjoyed our stay here overall.

They only clean the rooms every 3 days, and we were staying for that amount so it would be nice to have that be 2 days instead as it is a more common amount of time people stay for. The coffee from the machines at breakfast was not great. I think for this level of hotel there should be a bag of toiletries included (cotton bud, shower cap etc..). Bear in mind that this hotel is not the closest to the town centre, it is in front of the main train station, and you can get a bus to the airport easily, but it is around 15-20 mins walk to the centre. But you can also take trams there. This is me being very picky though, this is a comfortable place.

The front desk when I checked in was very helpful and super friendly. The room was lovely, pillows and bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve had in all of my hotel stays in Europe - was fantastic. Great range of food and very good quality. 10/10 for breakfast! 10/10 for the bed, pillows and room comforts. There was a little gym, standard hotel style gym, which I’d rate 5/10.

The location next to the main train station was perfect for me - it was about 15 minutes walk into the centre of the old town or 5-10 mins on the tram. One thing I really didn’t like was the lack of light in the room - I was on level 1 so barely received natural light. All in all - definitely a solid place to stay when you’re in Bratislava.

Clean hotel. Friendly responsive helpful & caring reception crew and a lovely professional excellent hotel manager. Air condition worked great in the room and in all hotel areas. Good size of the room. Breakfast was not bad with a big variety. Very nice waitresses and cleaning staff. Very good connection for various public transportation within 2-5 minutes walk.

The design of the hotel is very tacky & cheap. (Pink purple and red colors) Highly recommend a small touch up but very necessary renovation in the hotel. Carpets in the corridor and rooms should be changed small maintenance work should be done in the rooms corridors and hotel. (Paint, small defects on mirror doors etc…) For two nights unfortunately Netflix on the smart tv in the room didn’t work for me so was very disappointing. The Manager of the hotel with the technical staff took care of it and fix it happily.

The staff at the reception and at breakfast are very friendly and helpful, the hotel's location is good, easy access to centre - short walk, late check-out, easy and secure parking in garage (extra fee) or plenty of outdoor parking next to the hotel. Great breakfast with a lot of food choices. We liked the Superior room, which is very spacious, has a comfortable bed, a free minibar and the possibility of using the VIP room on the ground floor of the hotel, where free snacks and drinks are available.

The organization and communication between the staff at breakfast may be a bit lacking. If there are a lot of people in the breakfast room, some food can run out quickly and take a while to be replenished (e.g. pancakes, milk in the coffee machine...). We suggest that one person from the kitchen just monitors the situation and then directs the other employees what needs to be replenished. We suggest that you replace the coffee machine, which makes excellent coffee, but is extremely slow and unnecessarily creates a big crowd in the room. In the privileged room, sometimes certain food ran out (canapés, croissants...) and then after intervening at the reception, it took quite a while for it to be replenished

Breakfast is nice, quite a lot of choices. Location is 25 minutes of walk to the city castle and 20 minutes to the city centre, public transport is just in front of the hotel. Cleaning of the room is on request, but they cleaned our room on the second to last day (3rd day) of our stay, even if we didn't ask for it.

Carpets in halls and in our room are dirty. We asked for a room without a carpet due to allergies, they confirmed, but upon arrival, the room was not available for the first night of our stay. Shower head was leaking.

Well, they greeted me so warm every single time. They kept my luggage safe as I explored the city. They even gave me a map. (Which is my love language.) The room felt so pristine and clean. I loved the tub. It was super quiet. Everything wakes me up and not one thing woke me up here other than my alarm! That never happens! I loved how close it was to the train station. I loved the mini bar. It’s not often I can find things to drink other than water, and I was able to drink the orange juice!

I loved everything! But it did take me a little bit to find the bottle opener.

All went well. I really had no issues. Staff was very friendly and professional. The room was spacious and cozy and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom shower was hot and relaxing. All appliances worked well and were more than adequate. The Internet connection was OK both in the room and in the lobby. The cleaning, upon request, was done to my satisfaction. The breakfast was great and the restaurant was delicious. Also, location wise, getting from the hotel to the city and back is very handy with the Tram stop right across the street.

The cleaning policy is, by default, not every day, but if you wish for the room to be cleaned every day, you can just ask for it. The wardrobe had a door that did not open wide, but it was not a problem. I could not make the cast from my smartphone to the TV work, but in the end, I did not really need it. Perhaps the room is a bit dark, once the curtains are closed? Anyway I found the open shower a bit weird, but just I closed the bindings, no big deal since I travelled alone. Perhaps the hallways could use a little renovating, they looked little worn out.

Everything was great. Starting with the location, which is at walking distance from Bratislava Hlavna Stanica and also to the main touristic attractions. The reception, the hallways and the rooms smelled amazing, (we ended up buying the same room freshners for our home 😅), they were extremely clean, well taken care of, and properly set up so you don't miss a thing. We originally stayed here last summer and because we loved it, we decided to go back this month. Andreea and Milan at the Front Desk were more than helpful and they were super attentive to anything we may need, so thank you, both! We were truly impressed with their breakfast options, as I was looking forward to it from the first time we tried it. Whether you enjoy a sweet or a savory breakfast, there's truly a lot to choose from, from fresh cut fruits and veggies to fresh cut meats or warm breakfast options and, of course, pastries, cereals, and juices & coffee or tea. For dinner, we decided to only have dinner at their restaurant because while the menu is not large, it is nevertheless delicious. We loved this place the first time, and still love it to this day. We will for sure be back ♡

The Clarion Congress is a superior, top end, luxurious hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff, spacious and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and dinner meals, and an ambiance that is many steps ahead of other hotels anywhere in the world. And all of this is at a nightly rate that is very affordable when compared to other accommodation choices. The hotel is located within 5 minutes walking distance to the main train station, and close to greenspace such as Freedom Square. It is highly recommended!!
