Hotel was convenient for the main rail station, also bus stop short distance away. There was a very good and plentiful breakfast included in the price. Beds were comfortable and room was quiet even though the hotel is on a main road. A kettle was supplied on request.

There were no sockets by the beds for charging of mobiles. I liked the separate toilet but would have preferred if there had been a small hand basin in the room

The beds were clean and comfortable as was the room. The hotel is on a busy main road, but our room was very quiet. Very handy for the train station - straight down the road and across the flyover. There are lots of buses going past the hotel either to the station or the old town. There was a fridge in the room and a small table with 2 chairs. Bathroom was very modern with a large shower. From the outside, it is not easy to determine what the inside will be like, but it is modern inside. Breakfast was good with typical buffet fare. Cheese, ham, eggs, sausages, beans, pastries, yoghurts etc.

Tea and coffee making facilities would have been welcome.

The comfort of the rooms was very good ,plenty room, excellent shower facilities, toilet etc. apart from one room. One of our party reported to reception that their toilet wasn't working - they were told it would be reported but by the time we left the hotel this morning there still hadn't been anyone to repair it. This, as a party, we felt was most unsatisfactory. What were they supposed to do when they needed to get up during the night, especially? Breakfast was included in our booking - cooked breakfast was limited sausages were tough. Fruit consisted of whole apples, pears, tangerines etc were all whole. This morning was the only morning we saw prepared fruit I.e sliced melon and pineapple. No toast. Plenty rolls and cereal - overall best described as adequate. Restaurant and bar facilities were adequate. Menu was limited but we we did have was good. Bar facilities poor.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from both the train station and the intercity bus station, which makes it very convenient. It’s very clean and well-maintained, and most of the main sights were within a 20-minute walk, so the location is excellent. The breakfast was pretty good. Overall I enjoyed the staying

What I didn’t enjoy was the attitude of the receptionist. I’m not sure if it was due to a language barrier or just a cultural difference, but I didn’t feel welcome. It’s a hospitality business, and a little warmth or politeness would go a long way. Unfortunately, I felt like my simple questions were treated as an inconvenience.

Good for a quick stop to visit Bratislava. The room was quiet considering we were on the main road, clean and comfortable. There were choices for breakfast for dietary restrictions. Close to the railway station and bus stops and a reasonable 20-30 minute walk to the Old City

We were allocated a room where it is was known to have a faulty safe as advised by the apologetic receptionist. This left us no choice but to keep our valuables including passports on us whilst touring. Surely if it was known to be faulty the safe should be removed/ declared out of service and an alternative room with all facilities in order. In our case no alternative was offered but the hotel did not appear to be fully booked. Sockets were far away from the bed, on the opposite side of the room, and the carpet worn in places. Could do with a nice refresh in decor and paint work. Also separate toilet to main bathroom but no handwashing facilities next to toilet - lack of sensible hygiene thought process as you had to enter another room the wash hands.

Really nice hotel, a little way out of town (20min walk), but close to bus stop 5 min to town. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was really good once in price. Highly regarded restaurant on site ( I personally did not try it) and fantastic shop on site selling there own wines at reasonable prices

Only one thing really there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but this was compensated for by a minibar.

The room was clean ,quiet, and very spacious. I loved the wood accents and thick carpet .The staff were very nice. Breakfast was very good.

I chose this hotel because of the great reviews of their restaurant and wine cellar ( this is a major selling point for this property), only to arrive and be told both were closed. Someone from Booking.com or the hotel should have emailed this information to me prior to my arrival so that I could then decide to continue with my booking or not. Yes, I might have cancelled but the honesty would have been appreciated and taken into account on my next trip. They heavily promoted the restaurant in their advertising and I should have been informed it was closed before my arrival ! This hotel is not central to the city center or old town.

First and foremost, the breakfast is simply fantastic. There is an array of different foods, from savoury to sweet. You can even have a freshly made omelette, with your personalised choice of toppings. We ate so well! The hotel itself is also very good. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were fortunately looking out at the back and therefore did not hear the traffic as I would assume front facing rooms would be quite noisy due to the traffic on the busy road. The location is pretty good. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the city centre and a mere 10 minute walk to the train station.

A kettle in the room would have been appreciated. We were already aware of this but bear in mind that this hotel is not in the city centre and it does require some walking (or public transport).

The hotel was close to all the attractions in the city and had good bus connections from its location. The breakfast was also really good and had a wide variety to choose from. Next, the facilities were easy to use (always hot water and it was quite warm in the rooms) Finally, the hotel staff were lovely, answered all our questions in a timely manner and when we needed to leave our luggage as our flight was later in the day, they provided special areas to keep our luggage.

The only thing that I would say is the fact that the room had a strange smell (most likely from the older furniture), but other than that, all was great!

Good sized comfortable room with plenty of seating, including a small table and two upright chairs, and an armchair. Unusually there was a separate toilet next to the bathroom. Good choice of food at breakfast. Had a delicious meal in the wine cellar, with excellent service and the hotel vinyard's very good Matyšák wine. Throughout the hotel there were attractive paintings of rural scenes. The hotel shop beside the entrance was convenient.

There was a busy road in front of the hotel.
