This is my favourite place to book in Cape town if I need to just get away from the usual for a day or two. Excellent location! Nothing better than falling asleep safely to the sound of the ocean mere steps away! The best treat in any season. Super affordable and convenient.

Due to technical issues (weather related?) my finger print would not save and I had to rely on the person at reception to open for me each time I left the backpackers. This was not anybody's fault, but it was an inconvenience, and it would have been good to have some manual solution.

Great value hostel, chilled vibe & lovely bar & restaurant by reception.

Felt like a few non-hostel guests were hanging around in the communal area past midnight. Despite the rigid security measures. Could be that someone let them in. There was a little bit of a strange atmosphere I picked up on at one point but perhaps it was nothing.

The view was amazing laying in bed and staring at the ocean. And being a Muslim wearing a Vail I felt comfortable being in a non judgmental space and meeting such lovely staff and pple and its so affordable

The bathrooms that's not close to the 1st floor rooms is a bit of a bummer.

Excellent value for money staff very helpful I would happily stay there again. Everything you need is walking distance,and the view is awesome. You won't be disappointed.

I really liked the location of the hostel, the hospitality of the hosts, all the people who frequent the place are very friendly! The energy of the place is just amazing!

This is a special place right on the water. I had a room with ocean view and was delighted. It has a shared bathroom which was okay and a lot of stairs to get to the room which is one disadvantage. The people are extraordinary. Sat. night is party night so theh music was quite loud!

Great spot right on the beach and in the heart of muizenberg. Recommend for solo travelers wanting a bit more privacy, and anyone wanting to surf! Only stayed for one night but would have loved to stayed a few more.

Shared bathrooms for the whole place. Was nice some of the rooms at least have their own shower though!

Great location, with a lovely sea view from our room. Room was a decent size and beds were comfortable

The staff were friendly, patient and very helpful. The ladies and mens toilets and showers were clean. The place has a good vibe, located in a perfect location with plenty to do and see.
