Very nice hotel located in a beatiful suburb, although a bit far from downtown Cape Town. Highly competent and nice staff, constantly looking after guests and bringing answers to any requests. Amazing food and wines, great spa.

Our rooms (Malbec and Sauvignon Blanc) were situated right above the kitchen. Noisy when windows are opened and frequent noises (slamming doors, smell, etc.). Nothing that bad though. We arrived on new year's eve and did not participate to the organized event. No other food option was available, but the staff worked on solution to have Uber Eats delivered.

Great pool and spa facilities, complemented by an extremely friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the start of the Two Oceans Marathon and I was even offered an early morning transfer to the starting point. A standout surprise was discovering that Gregory Henderson is running his signature restaurant right in the hotel, focusing on indigenous and wild ingredients. I had the pleasure of enjoying a four-course meal that was not only amazing but also very affordable. The casual atmosphere made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

At first, I was placed in a room close to a rather noisy ventilation system, but the hotel kindly offered me a much quieter room for my last night

Traffic to and from the Hotel is really hectic - there is a school right across the road. So you really had to time it carefully for arrival and moving around during the day. Other than that it truly was an oasis. I also attended the spa which was professional and the massages were amazing. The food was really delicious and a good menu offered for all meals.

The traffic. The kitchen door doesnt close properly so the wind howls a little through it - when you are eating in the dining room it sounds like a leaf blower. I think the staff are so used to it that they didnt even pick it up we kept closing the door. Other than that everything truly was excellant.

Loved the hotel! The rooms, the ambience and the staff are just amazing. We had a wonderful stay in the Palm House Boutique Hotel. It’s a beautiful property offering old world charm and luxury, away from the crowds. No queues for breakfast, one is served exceptional a la carte breakfast, with individual attention to each and every guest. There is a school right next to the property which can be a bit noisy in the mornings, other than that this is a great place to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are spacious with lovely views of the mountains and the greenery around. The food is great and the staff are super welcoming and hospitable. We just loved everything about this boutique hotel located in the veterans Wynberg suburb.

My stay at Palm House Boutique Hotel and Spa in Cape Town was truly fantastic! The hotel is in an excellent location, and the atmosphere is both relaxed and welcoming. The property itself is a stunning villa, thoughtfully designed with a blend of classic charm and modern comfort. I stayed in a beautiful garden suite overlooking the lush garden and the main house, which provided the perfect balance of tranquility and elegance. The staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The reception team stood out in particular—they gave me excellent tips for exploring the area and even arranged a shuttle for me when I needed it. Their professionalism and warmth really made a difference during my stay. The restaurant was another highlight. The menu is compact but offers dishes of exceptional quality. I especially enjoyed "Steak Friday," which had a great atmosphere and fantastic food. The bartenders were also very friendly and added to the enjoyable dining experience. Overall, Palm House Boutique Hotel and Spa exceeded my expectations. It’s a place I can wholeheartedly recommend, and I’m already looking forward to coming back in the future!

The only thing I could mention is that the service in the restaurant could be a bit quicker. However, it wasn’t a big issue—the space was fully booked, and the politeness and professionalism of the staff more than made up for it.

Beautiful Villa in the Constantia region of Cape Town. Nice restaurant and friendly and fortcoming staff. The restaurant is certainly recommendable.

It would be lovely to see some more variety in bread at breakfast as just toasted white an dark on our next visit. It‘s nice to read that the hotel writes that sustainability is important to them, but if this is honestly meant San Pellegrino water from Europe, Aluminium coffee pads in the room or generally products from Nestle are a no go and it would be great if they are avoided in the future.

We had one of our most comfortable stays ever in this nice, lovely, small hotel. Not only the breakfast is a dream (and made to gain 2 kg in weight within a few days), but also the dinner. The kitchen is really extraordinary, absolute high quality and individual. We did not do a lot of sight seeing during our stay, but enjoyed the pool with the private garden atmosphere most of the days, enhanced by capuccinos or cocktails. Due to the private atmosphere we got to know most of the staff personally over the days. Their friendliness was extraordinary also. The hotel is located ideally for visits to Cape Town (20 min by car) or any other tourist point in the area.

The first night we stayed in the junior suite. There you get the noise from the kitchen ventilation (not always running) but also from a street, passing behind the hotel. Fortunately, since the hotel was not fully booked, we could move to one of the garden lodges free of charge.

We initially booked two rooms, but seeing that we were traveling as a family the Hotel moved us to two room suite which was much better for us. The real highlight was the food. The evening meal at de Tafel restaurant was delicious and the wine pairing was great. Even though a set menu the kitchen accommodated our dietary needs. Every course was a treat. Breakfast was also superb! The rooms were really nice and Netflix access was an added bonus for the kids. The staff were very helpful when we arrived and turned on the sauna and hot-tub which was fun, even though it was a cold day. The location was nice and quiet. A good base to explore Cape Town, Kirstenbosch Gardens or the Cape itself.

This is a beautiful property. The main house is where you take meals . We stayed in a garden suite which was very nice. .

On the first evening there we took dinner. The length of time we waited was totally unacceptable and when the meal finally arrived it was of a poor standard. It was a similar experience at breakfast the next morning and in fact the second morning

Beautifully renovated villa in a quiet (school) area. A little bit away from Cape Town but Ubers enough for a quick drive to the center. Wonderful swimming pool, great accomodation, super friendly staff. Very good restaurant and super breakfast. Also the spa (massages) are super at reasonable prices. Super service. Hotel rooms are beautifully decorated (recently refurbished). We want to go back immediately. A must stay close to Cape Town.

Bathroom can be slippery. There is loadshedding but they have a generator (bit noisy). Only these small points but no reason not to go. We will be back!
