What a lovely place to stay. Thank you to Aaron, Nathan and Emmanuella for being so helpful, friendly and so professional. Jane thank you for your generosity and offers to purchase spices for us. It was a pleasure to be in the guest house. The breakfast was a delight each morning with plenty of fresh fruit, homemade granola yoghurt etc. A cooked breakfast was also offered in addition to the continental breakfast bar. We enjoyed relaxing around the pool which was usually quiet and peaceful with the backdrop of the table mountains on one side.

Fernwood Manor is a one of a kind place and exceptional place to stay in and around Cape Town. The staff are very professional and friendly. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast is superb and varied. The property is very clean and cosy. The views are to die for. 95 feels like home from home.

Everything was exceptional. The property is slightly outside the town centre but extremely safe and quiet place with beautiful nature. Uber takes you on down town in 10 mins. So no problem at all.

Booked for my parents. Their feedback: "Had the most amazing stay at Fernwood. Our reception on arrival by Nathan was warm and friendly. We stayed in the executive suite with the mountain view. It was quiet & peaceful & everything was so clean, and we felt we could use a hotel bath tub for the first time because of how clean it was. Clean linen, excellent room. Very friendly staff, an excellent breakfast and all round excellent stay. It exceeded expectations. We'll definitely come back".

Beautiful house and room. Elegant and large with super comfortable bed and pillows . Very well appointed Lovely courtyard view. Amazing breakfast cooked perfectly by Nathan ! Very secure- safe yard for car. Very beautiful and safe suburban neighbourhood. Very quiet. Close to Kirstenbosch and Constantine’s vineyard.

Nothing ! People may need to be aware that this is in a beautiful suburb- you need a car/ cab to go to restaurants etc

Wonderful guest house, stayed in the main villa, bedroom was huge, bathroom fantastic and a very large patio/balcony outside the French windows. So much cupboard and drawer space too. Breakfast was superb. Very attentive staff only too happy to make our stay memorable. Location was convenient, near the Botanical gardens and close to Constantia Mall. About 15 mins taxi from the Watefront area. We got there really early and no issue allowing us an early check in. Top notch and highly recommended. There is a pool too but we didn't have time to try it.

Breakfast was good, the location is close to the airport and Kirstenbosch and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with helpful staff.

On going to bed the socket ring main tripped. Aaron who was looking after the property reset the trip but it tripped again after 15 mins. He turned off higher current facilities one by one but after the 7th time moved us to another room.

Loved the rooms and pool area. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location was great, felt very safe and nice to be slightly out of town.

I think the breakfast buffet options could have changed a bit more. Having a different fruit offering day to day and perhaps some fresh pastries would have been lovely.

A very safe location, a leafy suburb of Cape Town and a little oasis to spend a few hours at or come back to each day. We had 5 days here but should have stayed longer to enjoy everything Fernwood had to offer.

There is nothing to dislike about this place. We felt at home immediately, the staff were all very professional, friendly and helpful. It would have been the icing on the cake to have been able to have the odd simple evening meal but there were lots of restaurants nearby to choose from

This is the perfect retreat, quiet, beautiful and very clean. We spent 5 days here and did not want leave. Personnel is super friendly and quiet, the salt water pool refreshing and exquisit, not too cold. The garden is gorgeous and beautiful. Fabulous breakfast. We will come back and strong recommend this very unique paradise! If you love to hike, the Constantia Neck is only 10 minutes away.
