This bnb is a very special place. As a person who travels regularly all around the world, the hospitality and service were unmatched. The owners and hosts, as well as all the staff, went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. The breakfast was better than we've had in most 5 star hotels with each guest's individual tastes catered for. It's this sort of care and attention to detail that the hospitality industry desperately needs.

There was nothing I didn't like and no complaints. The owners Adriaan and Betty have spent a lot of effort to renovate, and the facilities are very well upgraded recently. If anything, I can only suggest some guest pool towels for their lovely pool overlooking the ocean.

Our stay at Soundbaai Country House was simply unforgettable! From the minute we arrived we were welcomed by the hosts with warm hospitality and immediately felt at home. The owners and their friends, who were also on site during our stay, looked after us with a warmth and care that is rare to find. The accommodation itself is an absolute dream - stylishly furnished, spotlessly clean and with a breathtaking view of the sea. You can feel the love that has been put into every detail. The property exudes a sense of calm and serenity that is perfect for a relaxing break. The hosts also provided us with valuable tips for excursions and activities, helping us to fully savour the surroundings. The personal touch was particularly impressive: the evenings with the owners and their friends were a real enrichment and made our stay a unique experience. We didn't just find accommodation, we left with the feeling that we had made friends. If you are looking for something special, this is the place for you. Everything! The position with incredible views, right by the sea but in a lovely quiet area, unlike Hermanus which was incredibly busy. Large rooms, beautifully appointed, a delightful dining room and lounge, excellent breakfast, Adrianne and Bettie provided everything we could possibly have wanted. One of the best places we have ever stayed in over ten years visiting South Africa from England.

Breakfast choices were good and taste full and presented well, room was spacious with nice decor and stunning view of he sea.

We stayed in room nr.2, which has a large bathroom, with a tiny wash hand basin, makes no sense, the problem is, a glass shelf has been installed above the basin which makes it very difficult to wash your face without knocking into the shelf, would suggest to move the shelf to the side.

The location and view was fabulous. The owners are very friendly and kind. The room was very clean, the bed with quality cotton linen was comfortable and lovely. There was so much choice for breakfast and it was fresh and delicious. A lovely, sparkling clean swimming pool on the property overlooking the sea. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The staff and owners of the property went over and beyond to make us feel welcome, and even upgraded us at no extra cost from a mountain facing room to a sea facing room. The breakfast was exceptional - all kinds of cereals, yoghurt and fruit, toast and jams and cheeses, as well as a plate full of bacon, eggs, sausage, mushrooms and beans. The rooms were nicely laid out and comfortable.

No TV's in the rooms.

I loved the room that we stayed in with such a beautiful view from the pool, then further looking out onto the sea with the relaxing waves despite the cold wet weather. The beds were super comfortable waking up well rested. The breakfast was so delicious. Adriaan and Betty really made us feel so welcome like we were family. They were always willing to go the extra.

Sandbaai Country House is located in a beautiful and quiet area of Sandbaai. It was wonderfully peaceful with beautiful views of the ocean. They have stylish and very clean rooms. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection of fresh fruits, yogurt, cereal eggs, bacon, mushrooms and whatever you can think of.

I loved the fact that Angelique & Riaan made the Guesthouse feel as though it was your "home" away from "home". The love and care for guests was definitely visible. The awesome views from the breakfast room and the room was superb. When we go again we will rather opt for the rooms opening towards the pool. The staff on site were friendly. Perfection pure in terms of serving breakfast. Loved feeling at home. Unfortunately there were many bad reviews which is really unfair. The township is far further away. The house is "tired" but it is home and comes with passion for people.

A few tweaks on the cupboards or layout of the furniture in the room did need some attention. The layout of the breakfast room could have been done slightly differently and utilized better with the view.

The proximity to all amenities, restaurants , beach etc. We specifically enjoyed doing the walk on the beach pathway. We will probably book one of the rooms with a sea view as the only one available was the garden view due to booking last minute. The room was comfortable for our needs and the breakfast was superb. Definitely value for money
