The room was very spacious and cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided every day. The TV had Netflix and all the streaming options, and the Wi-Fi worked really well. The location is great, and there was always someone at reception. I was a bit unsure at first because of some reviews, but I’m really glad I stayed! For the price, this place is definitely a 10 out of 10

You can hear a little bit of noise from outside, but once the fan is on, it pretty much cancels it out.

Been going often it has a poor cleaning quality but honestly for the price it’s ok It’s by the clubs so you will always hear loud music up till 2am most nights. Paras will not bother you but they own the strip outside

We stayed in the self catering apartment - everything looked brand new. The windows, doors, flooring, lighting - basically everything seemed to be brand new. The apartment was clean and neat, with good bedding, towels, a microwave, kettle and small fridge. Small kitchen area. Large sliding door which leads out onto the balcony. Everything worked well. A small desk area provided in case you need it. Bathroom was more than adequate. I noticed they had a instant geyser for hot water - this worked very well. Large TV with Netflix. Three of us stayed in the unit, and it did not feel crowded. We found the prices very good per night. 24 hour reception is also great - staff were very friendly as well. Rosebud restaurant just around the corner has very good food, and is convenient and well priced.

They could provide some chairs or benches on the balcony, in case you want to sit outside. The weather was quite warm when we were there in November, and we found the unit to be quite warm. They could possibly provide windows with bars on them so that you can leave them open during the night. The area is quite noisy, but with the double glazing, it did not bother us at all - with the windows closed, it was very quiet inside the apartment.

I didn't order breakfast. The location is very good and accessible.

When I entered that room around 4, it was very hot. I was baked. They put on the Aircon but it was too late. Their mistake was to open window and blinds in the peak of the heat. The peak starts from 12:00.On the second day at 1:30, I was woken up by a screaming lady and male voices. I couldn't understand what was going on. I became afraid. I thought there maybe a break in. It happened until after two hours.

The location was excellent, the only issue I had is when coming in at night I had to stand in the street for a short time and ring the buzzer before they let me in. So, I had to have my bolt wait for me until they opened. I do believe it is a safe neighborhood but hey Joburg is Joburg. The reception also let me store my luggage with them for a few hours after i checked out as I went round the Rosebank mall, which was really kind of them. I will definitely visit again. Oh, and for the recreational green smoke lovers, the blunt box is right next door..Lol

The staff here are wonderful, especially the young lady working in the mornings. I had a really spacious, modern and comfortable room with heaps of space to work and relax. The location is great too, just a stone's throw from the Rosebank gautrain station and mall (and many great restaurants and cafes). The nightclub music from below is quite loud, but for me personally it didn't matter much and it's worth noting that they shut it down at 1:00 at the latest, even on Saturday. But for this location it's still excellent value for money.

The only real improvement I can suggest is to put a fan in the rooms (I guess the cost of aircon would be too high). I was sweating a lot most nights.

The seamless check in process and booking with Booking.com made it an absolute pleasure. The property exceeded my expectation for the low cost and I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable, large and clean room. This is definitely something you can consider for a longer stay as it's like a small Sandton apartment. Everything you need has been provided for - a small kitchenette, functional bathroom, wardrobe and comfortable bed. Even a workstation and small dining area has been provided. Large windows with blinds are great! The accommodation is also load-shedding proof with generators taking over the minute power goes out. Loved it!

I would propose having fans available for rooms and Summer in South Africa is not for the faint of heart. I asked for a fan, but it was not available so I went out and purchased a fan from a local provider. I left this for the next occupant, hoping it would bring some relief. I totally understand the absence of airconditioning due to load shedding challenges in South Africa but fans would be good.

New, clean, fresh smelling, had the basic amenities. White clean linen. Again, clean! My family would definitely book again.

Could hear the movements in the passage and steps ( sounded so close), then again, a tiled floor is cleaner than a carpeted floor. Win some, lose some. I didn't mind the sound of the bar/fun establishment downstairs because I'm used to a similar environment back home. Others would find it noisy.

I really liked the location — it was within walking distance to all our intended spots and activities. The room was spacious, there was free Wi-Fi, and overall it was a fun and convenient stay.

Not really a dislike, but it would’ve been nice to have a small stove or kitchenette to prepare our own meals. That said, I understand it’s more of an in-and-out kind of place.
