The apartmenst is situated very close to Rosebank Mall where you will find great shopping, eateries, bars and Restaurants. The apartment was very well furnished with all the self-catering amenities you may need. It was serviced daily and with complimentary milk, sugar, coffee, and water on arrival. The ambiance of the area was quite high-end, and it felt like I was in the hub of an upmarket City-living suburb.

The weather was quite hot and an aircon could really improve one's stay. Not a fan of a fan!

We were able to access the parking garage easily and from there made our way to reception. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and one of them accompanied us to our apartment to show us how the access code worked. Once in the apartment we found it to be clean and comfortable and equipped with all the utensils we needed. The wifi was good and reliable and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The highlight though was its convenient location close to Rosebank Mall and The Zone and the numerous shops and restaurants nearby.

The requirement for paying the security deposit for property damage was quite lengthy and complicated given that a foreign credit card was required to be used.

I must confess, my family and I had a wonderful stay in our 2 bedroom spacious apartment. We really felt at home. We spent quite a lot of our time at the beautiful Rosebank mall, which was a walking distance away from our apartment. Oh my, eateries were all over the place. My children didn't want to come back home due to its location and fun things around. We have booked another vacation with the same apartment, but this time we will be visiting with a group of people. I will recommend it to whoever wants to visit South Africa either alone or with their families.

The apartment was very comfortable, well resourced and the location was great! It was a home away from home and would have stayed more of our 10 weeks of vacation in South Africa here except that the staff were not helpful, no gym in the building and no dishwasher. It’s steps away from Rosebank, the Sunday market and tons of food and coffee shops.

There is no attempt or efforts in keeping the rooms next to each other no matter how early in advance you book - travelling as a big family of 6 with 4 kids, not even the same floor so that was uncomfortable. Also, house keeping just cannot be arranged to come at a set time mid morning daily - my husband had afternoon meetings and the management couldn’t arrange this for the 2 weeks. No gym in this pretty building - that’s not great!

The property was clean

I have been waiting for my security refund since the 6th when we checked out. I keep being taken back and forth when I ask for my refund. I was told this is to be paid on the same day of checking out its almost a month since I’ve been waiting they now even stopped giving feedback if I knew this would happen I would have never booked this property

The location is a hit!!! It is one minute walk from Rosebank mall, Starbucks, and many many restaurants and a game zone which our kids enjoyed. It is also in close proximity to everything we wanted including the Johannesburg zoo. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The fact that it is a serviced apartment makes it even more enjoyable 🤩. We will definitely stay again.

The location is great, very close to the Rosebank mall. Very neat and clean and well maintained. Well equipped, good parking.

Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Showers have a very fine spray, and temperature of water is very low. Quite annoying as you have to take a longer shower as you don't warm up, so it defeats the purpose of saving water. Would definitely not stay here in winter months! No air-conditioning, so very hot at night and you cannot open the windows as it is fairly noisey at night. Very easy to gain access via the security gate as no checks are done.

Clean spacious apartment, great location, helpful staff, good parking

Our apartment (unit 9 ground floor) was extremely hot, with no air conditioning and only one fan. We ended up buying small fans and even so it was too hot to sleep comfortably. It was a hot week in Joburg but this particular unit, on a corner surrounded by a sun trap courtyard, really needs a/c at this time of year.

Self catering apartment

Require a bigger ironing board. The clothes hanging rack was a bit unstable. An extra light is required at the dining table. It was a bit dark there. The lights in the passage needs to be off after 22.00 hrs as it used to light our bedroom and had to use a eye mask to sleep.

It seems the apartments are owned by different people and The Vantage maintains them. The fit out is different in each apartment. The apartment i had was great as it included extra features like a clothes line, laundry powder, toiletries, etc.

None of them have a/c but they do have 1 fan. If it is really hot, it means one room gets the fan and the other doesn't.
