The room was great but we have geyser issues with hot water.

There is a serious need for the chefs to cook better and revitalize the menu. Those potato chips are just horrible. The breakfast menu also needs to be changed. The hotel is a 4 star, but the menu kills it. The kitchen is also not clean. We showed the lady who was making eggs the cockroaches behind her climbing walls.. It was very disturbing, and it killed our appetite to eat. There is also a need to update the website as you are advistising things you don't have such free gym in the facility( the gym is in a shopping center and you need to pay R100 a day to use it) and the Waterpark doesn't work also. Apparently, since 2019 so please remove the false advertising.

The hotel has the best sea view and nice sound of the ocean when all has quieted down. The balcony has great furniture for a wind down watching the ocean or a night chill out. The TV is smart and one can use their Netflix details. There is also great breakfast served in the morning variety coffee choices. I feel like the room was barely prepared for us we got there and there was no water issues had to ask. The floor seemed to have been cleaned with an oily soap or whatever. The bar fridge was turned off at the plug and had stuff from probably the previous guests justifying a rush/quick clean. The sliding door at 309 needs attention it’s a mission to open/close. The shower water was lukewarm even though the valve was fully turned on hot. Would definitely return though.

The hotel is in a fabulous location right on the beach with a wonderful view of the sea. It has 2 great restaurants on site and a vibey pub type place just outside by the swimming pool. My room was great, the bed was great to sleep on, and I didn't want for anything. It was a most comfortable stay.

The reception and restaurant staff are not very warm or welcoming. I would have appreciated broader smiles and warmer greetings. My reception at both the hotel desk and at the restaurant was luke warm. I didn't feel that welcome. Funnily enough, I popped in at the pub by the pool briefly just to take a look, and the barman there was very friendly and welcoming. Hats off to his hospitality. Also there was a very noisy room/guests just down the passage from my hotel room, but that is the chance one takes in a hotel stay. Fortunately they did quieten down before it was time for me to sleep.

The view!!! I never realized the view is so amazing from there. I loved waking up and look at the view... and by sun down its even more breathtaking. Thank you Diaz Hotel. I could sleep with my sliding door open with the moon shining in and the sound of the waves. I attended a Ironman Triathlon training weekend and so happy I stayed there. The staff was extremely helpful especially Bennie. Thank you for helping me out Bennie! I could check in earlier. I could check out later. The new staff on duty was informed of my late check out, and helped me manage my luggage and bike. No complaints.

No there were no flaws during my stay. Maybe if I can make just a note, it's not 100% sound proof. Some people don't mind, I don't mind but I know its important for some. It is about 70% sound proof.

1. Had to wait for a Table at the Hotel restaurant, Outside guests are allowed in restaurant, who fill up the tables. Hotel guests must get first priority. 2. Outside guests who attended the show Outside, walked in and out of restaurant. Excess to the show was through the restaurant. This is destirbing for the restaurant guests, the young crowd were loud and drunk, falling around and some had to be Carried out. Maybe another door must be used to gain access to the show at the back.

Lovely breakfast. Great view from patio of room. Comfortable bed. Helpful room cleaner. Automatic lights when getting out of lift. Soap & shampoo provided. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar provided in room. Water provided in room. Fridge in room. Cost of drinks very reasonable - didn't feel overcharged like at many hotels.

Lack of bins on property. No TV channels. Having to buy own Netflix. Could have more hangers in cupboard. Very limited restaurant menu. No vegetarian options other than pizza.

We most definitely enjoyed being so close to the beach. The location is absolutely perfect and quite central. The view is impeccable. The facilities are fantastic especially the hotel’s restaurant. Their food (breakfast & dinner) was mouthwatering and divine. We didn’t consider any other restaurants while staying at this hotel as we were fully impressed. The hotel’s staff was so helpful, generous and kind. They were always willing to guide and provide us with recommendations. We absolutely appreciated the 24-hour security with our car while staying overnight.

The only thing we weren’t particularly fond of was the fact that if the parking bay of the hotel was full, guests must park in the undercover parking lot. You, as a guest, didn’t have eyes on your vehicle and it was a short walk to the entrance of the hotel. Everything else was absolutely amazing and impeccable.

Breakfast was good, no complaints.

Staff need to be friendlier and engaging. To be honest most of them seem as if they don't want to be there. They leave you to your own devices, no friendly faces, no checking in on you. We also had a special request as it was a birthday and even though we have confirmation that champagne, flowers and balloons would be ready, no-one was aware of the request when we arrived and didn't seem to care either which was very disappointing as it was a milestone birthday.

Our second time staying here at this hotel.All the staff were all so caring,efficient and went the extra mile.The food was devine both resturant and room service.Our room was number 602 with ocean view.The best part is having a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise and listening to the soothing sounds of the ocean.Not to mention the long peaceful walks along the beach and the cocktails at the beach cafe right in front of the hotel.Safe secure parking.Can not wait to visit again.

There is no water to drink with your breakfast.There should be a water dispensor available during serving of breakfast.We had to buy.

The property is very clean and smelled fresh every where. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location to the beach is excellent. My expectations were met. Pristine beaches with life guards, clean and safe surroundings, no overcrowding. The food was delicious, deserts were fresh and tasty. Overall generous portions of food at restaurants. Definitely coming back.

Restaurant does not have decent coffee, but there’s one across the road. Wish the restaurant had Sushi on the menu. Had to use Mr D to get that.
