Wonderful place in a very safe neighborhood. Our hostess Zodwa made sure that we felt comfortable during our stay and provided a fantastic breakfast every morning. She also pointed us to the nearby restaurant at walking distance where both the food and staff were excellent as well. On top of all our driver Bekhi who drove us from and to the airport also guided us a full day throughout Johannesburg with all it's highlights. Thanks again to Zodwa & staff and Bekhi for making our stay most memorable!

My partner and I recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Claires of Sandton Luxury Guest House, and it exceeded our expectations. From the warm welcome by Zodwa during check-in and her delightful breakfasts each morning to the spacious, immaculate room and bathroom, our experience was outstanding. This guest house’s attention to detail and personal touches with breakfast every morning made our visit to Sandton memorable. We highly recommend Claires of Sandton Luxury Guest House. Nice location, exceptional breakfast brought to my room everyday. The room and the bathroom are spacious, a shower and bathtub, gowns ready in the wardrobe. Beds sheets are changed daily. For those who like swimming, there's a swimming pool. Nice trees, plants, flowers everywhere make the place sublime.The lady in charge there (Zodwa ) always makes sure guests needs are met. For anyone who needs peace of mind and excellent service, this is the place. Will stay again when I visit next. The only down side is the electricity cut but the guest house has got its own generator, so no worry about that.

Like coming home! Zodwa is a gem and once I got the heating working I was well and truly comfortable. I recommend any of my friends to stay there: Fireplace in the breakfast room blazing, amazing array of birds outside the breakfast room feeding on toast... absolutely cozy!

More information on heating it was very cold while there, possibly a notice in the room folder that the airconditioner can be used for heat or cooling

Everything met my expectation and more. The manager and staff were always ready to assist and they made my stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was great and served with a smile which helped me start my days on a positive note. The manager helped me make travel arrangements and was always available to answer my questions and ease any concerns that I had. Having a generator made life easy.

I can't really think of any thing that I didn't like. I wish maybe having a cafe or snacks for when people don't want to go out or order from outside would be a great service.

Claire felt safe and relaxed. The manager was very welcoming and went out of her way to be helpful. The breakfasts were excellent and we could have ordered anything we wanted.

Just small matters eg the lights in the bedroom were not always easy to switch on and off. The tap water in our bedroom tasted a little strange.

The hostess was a very welcoming lady.. Anything you needed or wanted she was there to assist. My room was very clean. Breakfast was very good

I had changed my checkout time which was approved, only to be told we needed to leave by 10am, I wasn't too happy cause I was not prepared. The remote did not work properly and channels on the TV need to be upgraded

Beds were comfy, staff could not have been nicer and the breakfast was cooked to perfection!

The accommodation is dated and did not quite live up to the luxury it implies in its name. There was no bottled water available which I found odd, apparently, there was a problem with the supplier. I would have popped to the local shop and got an emergency sash in the interim.

The property was beautiful and well finished. The heated bathroom floors were a cherry on top! Close to everything in Sandton. Would stay there again. 5 star hotel quality.

My mattress was a bit stiff but nothing I could not deal with lol

Back up generator for loadshedding, what a relief! Kids loved swimming in the pool everyday. Delicious & freshly cooked breakfast. Friendly & accommodating host, thank you! Good location, we felt secure, plus it was close to local shops & restaurants.

Only a few minor things, like no bottled water in the fridge, a missing microwave & filter coffee at breakfast would be an added bonus.
