It's cheap and in a good location. The wifi is fast. The woman at check in knew a lot and spoke English, so that was very helpful for trip planning. The beds have curtains for privacy.

They make you leave your backpack in the common area instead of the room, due to space issues. So I doubt you could store anything there.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hostel! The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making me feel welcome. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is amazing just steps away from cafes, restaurants, and a convenience store. Hongdae and the subway station are both within a 15-minute walk, making it super easy to get around. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul! Nice place, great location, spectacular price!

One of the staff ladies was very rude but the guy who checked me in was great!! Also not a fault of the place, but the guests there were incredibly loud at 11pm and were being obnoxious.

Great location close to Hongdae and Yeonnam, metro close as well as train to airport. Price was also very good for the location. The area is very lively with good food, activities and transport options. Also many tours leave from the area like to the DMZ. The facilities were fine though the toilets and showers were shared with quite a few people so it could be a wait.

Could get crowded at times but overall nothing too bad.

Every time I came to Seoul, this property is always a go to place for me. Not only it is located really close from the main Hongdae street where all the night attractions are, this property gives high opportunity to mingle with the other people who happen to stay here. It is easy to make new friends and hang out together in Hongdae. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, not to mention the staff working there.

If the only thing I am not impressed with is that sometimes you have to wait for the others to finish the shower as it has only limited number of shower rooms. It can be a big problem when it comes to morning time and you have to check out at certain time. Apart from that, all good.

TLDR; You MUST stay here at least once in your life! This is the place of legends. I stayed here for 4 weeks. Everyone has a story about the woman who works here. I can only tell you what happened to me, but trust me there are other amazing stories. Painfully Unfriendly. Does not acknowledge your presence at any time except to get you in to trouble for something. Tried to charge me 10.000 won for someone else leaving a cup in the living room. Scolded me for opening a window when it was hot. I didn't touch the window. Got me in to trouble for replacing the batteries on the door lock. Again, I didn't touch it. Kept on telling me "checkout at 11am" on days I wasn't checking out. As it turns out, she wants you out of the house from 11am until 3pm each day. Weird rule, but please at least tell me it's even a rule! Accused me of being Rude because I used the microwave when she was sitting one space away from it in the tiny kitchen. Then said it's ok because I'm old so I must not have any manners! She stayed in the same room as me and speaks to herself loudly and angrily in Korean at night time. And then gets me in to trouble for being loud at night! Met the owner and he is the nicest guy I've ever met in my life! Apologizing for the difficulties, offering discounts and talking about the history of the building and the hostel here. Aside from Steff (Or Julia, or whatever she decides to call herself this week), the hostel is serviceable enough, especially for the price. VERY amenable to meeting other guests. Great Location. I love Hongdae. Trust me, you have to stay here once and make your own legendary memories here

Good hostel, but under certain conditions! If you like big companies of people, new datings - it is the perfect place for you. You can make new friends and have a great time. If you are looking for a place to relax and spend the night - this option may not be suitable for you, because it can be quite noisy. Anyway, I want to say a huge thanks to the guys who worked there and to everyone I met, it was a great and fun time Location is great Price is great

- good location, 10 minute walk to major bus lines and metro station -had everything to offer with good shower, hot water, room to sit and hang out, fully equipped kitchen -very clean -small lockers for valuables (make sure to bring your own lock)

Considering the price, everything that wasn’t amazing was manageable. (Not a lot of room for luggage and bed wasn’t super comfy, but no bid deal)

Come as guest. Leave as friends. Friends is considering better to each other and continuing to improve and grow together. Not only considering, but also taking affords and actions cooperatively. In a hostel with many visitors, it is very important to coordinate and manage the relationship to be comfortable in psychology from the aims of traveling and why select you as enough explanation.

Very decent hostel at a great location. It has a good kitchen too which not every place in Seoul offers so that was a big plus. I really only slept there as I was out all day, so I'm not sure about the social vibe.

The Guy at the reception isn't always there, which doesn't have to be a problem, but I wasn't sure what to do when I wanted to check out at 7.30AM. someone told me I could just go but it would be nice if they put up a little sign.
