Location - very convenient with direct links to many popular destinations in Seoul. Hotel is pretty much attached to Yongsan station and a giant mall Staff - shout out to Luis Lee at the front desk who was so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that I felt welcome. Same goes to the room service attendants and the sports facility and breakfast staff Cleanliness - very clean and tidy View - incredible view especially in the evenings

Breakfast was a great selection but noticeable difference between the range and quality of food between Floor 2 and Floor 26. It would be great for 26 to match the standard of 2!

Impeccable customer service from all staff we interacted with, we always came back to a cleaned, spacious, fragrant, and well lit room. It was the perfect location as it was right next to Yongsan station and Ipark mall, where you find literally anything and everything. They also have a convenience store in the hotel, lovely restaurants and facilities such as the gym and sauna.

The only issue I had was that the pool was open only from 1.30pm on weekdays. Wish it was open from the morning, as I like to have a swim before I start the day's activities. Other than that, I loved everything else and will definitely stay here again if I visit Seoul again.

Every thing was great. Location is good, you can basically go everywhere touristy within 20 minutes by the subway. It was easy to get to from the airport as well. The room is spacious and quiet, the view was amazing. There is a 24hr convenient store in the building which cure my midnight cravings. I wish I stayed longer, it was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed.

Not much to complain about, however the cleaning needs to be improved slightly. There are dust to be seen on the surface of some places, a tiny bug was seen in the sink. After all it was good.

NOVOTEL YONGSAN has exceeded our expectation. the junior suite was very comfortable and has a mini kitchenette. The room has a washing machine (which was a plus point) and we did not expected that. The room was quiet even though we are next to the lift. My family used the gym as well at our stay and enjoyed the view from the gym. The staff was very polite and helpful to us. Location seemed far from the central of Seoul but there are quite alot of explorations in the vicinity. We hope to come back soon!

Amazing views! The suite had plenty of space, with a separate living room and a small kitchen. The washing machine was quite helpful as well. I did not have time to test out the sauna nor fitness so I can't comment on that. Breakfast was always the same but it was good quality and varied. From other reviews I was worried that the AC might be a problem but for me it worked flawlessly. Location is very good, with Yongsan station directly connected to the building. Even with a few of the quirks that I experienced, I'd definitely stay here again! I also stayed a few nights at the next door Grand Mercure, which was slightly more expensive but also a slightly better experience.

Going with the elevator can take a while especially during busy hours. Housekeeping was relatively good expect for a few weird points: One trash can was never emptied (during ~5 days..) until I put the plastic bag next to the door. And one day all the towels were gone, so I had to ask for new ones late at night when I came back. On a couple of days the breakfast area reserved for the suites was closed with no notice and had to figure out to go to the other breakfast area instead. The room was relatively clean, although when arriving I did easily notice hairs & dust on the floor which was a bit disappointing.

The room was spacious and great value for money. The Han river view was amazing. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.

I didn’t like the Location at all. It is a huge building that has 4 different hotels and casino in Yongsan which I thought I could easily get around as there is a bridge connecting to Yongsan train station however, it’s a quiet a walk to the train station and as it’s not subway, need extra walk to the Shinyongsan subway station. First night we had terrible jet lag so we first wanted to have some drinks at the bar which was surprisingly closed and that wasn’t even midnight. So we had no choice but to go out even just to grab can of beer…. We stayed two nught and even though you can grab taxi to go to itewon, hannam area, I was feeling a bit trapped. Wish there was a convenient store in the building… ( maybe there is I didn’t know? )

The room view on 36th floor was exceptional. We overseen the Seoul City and Namsan Tower. A dream! The room had Waschmaschine including dryer, very comfortable beds, kitchen including water cooker, Nespresso Maschine and Microwave. The TV had Netflix application and wide choice on TV Programms. We had sauna included which was fantastic too. The roomkeeping did great job, we got fresh towels every day, bottles of water and Nespresso capsels. Location was superbs directly connected to Yongsan station. There is Shopping mall with variety of restaurants, cafès and fashion store.

Downstairs restaurant was horrible, avoid at all cost. Japanese restaurant at neighboring Ibis was amazing as well as the breakfast and lunch buffet on 2nd floor. Pool got crowded at times but otherwise great. Our junior suite was comfortable, well maintained and great for an extended stay for a family of 3. Would probably work for a fam with two younger children too. The washing machine was very convenient and room/maid service was very nice and prompt too.

The room layout was a bit cramped but I love that we had a small pantry which came in handy. No cooking but there was a microwave to heat up food. It is connected by sheltered walkway to yongsan station where there are plenty of food choices plus shopping at ipark mall. It serves our needs well since we never had to get far for anything. Service staff at front desk and concierge were helpful with everything we need.

Housekeeping could be improved. there was tissue on the floor welcoming us as we enter our room. the next day an extra pillow cover was left on the sofa. A used towel was thrown into the laundry basket as well.

I enjoyed the service provider at the hotel. Staff members were attentive to requests, and showed high level of attentiveness, and super friendly. Rooms are spacious, and layout of the room is comfortable. The hotel is connected with the train station, which made travelling around super easy and comfortable. Nice mall close by, many convenient stores around the area.

There is no stove, there’s a microwave. The view during daylight was a bit of a disappointment. At night it was alright.
