Perfect location near wide and beautiful beach where is everything (restaurants, bars etc.); close to tram stop - beautiful way to city centre (approx 25min and only 1.5 eur); there is also bus stop but we didn’t use it. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast really good - good coffe, pastry, veggies, cheese, ham etc., just a little boring about warm food (sousages, bacon and scrumble eggs all the time). Bed was very comfy :)

Walls in that building are not so soundproof. We were unlucky cuz monday to friday on our floor stayed group of teenagers (school trip). They were noisy at night, running on the corridor, slamming the doors, screaming….. Teachers could’t control them. Advice to hotel: next time rent all floor for that kind of group cuz people on holiday want to rest (not wake up at 3 or 4 am cuz of unbearable kids.

Great location (2 min from the beach and next to bus stop), beach view from the balcony, Very clean property, Comfortable swimming pool, the restaurant is nice as well.

Air conditioning system is fixed at 27-28’ C and can’t be changed to 25-26’C that would be more comfortable for me personally. Everything else was perfect.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Cleaning staff freshened the room daily, changed towels etc. We didn't include any meal plan but rather ate as needed in the cafe which was very nice and authentic Spanish cuisine. Really enjoyed the pool which is not treated with Chlorine, but rather salt - making it much more refreshing. Number 22 bus and tram stops outside and close to the hotel so excellent for public transport. Close to beach (1 block walk)

Not a criticism of the hotel per se but this is a Spanish resort so we did face a language barrier in the hotel and outside. Just something to be aware of but didn't dampen our stay. It's been mentioned in other reviews that staff are not overly friendly and I would agree with that ... if you are someone who likes to interact with staff and they are an important part of your hotel stay, I would say this hotel is not for you!

Perfect location 300m give ir take from beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room had the perfect temperature set never too hot. Nice balcony. Comfortable bed. Nice large bathroom. Lovely pool area . Breakfast was 15euro if you wanted a large breakfast. I prefer a simple breakfast so it was no problem to go to the bar and have delicious coffee and croissants. There is a great market right across the street if you forget your adapter or suncreams. It even sold clothes, swimsuits etc and just about anything. Other shops supermarkets restaurants all very close by. Moving to the left of the hotel away from the beach was a thai restaurant, cocktail bar supermarket, and other cafes and restaurants. Going towards the beach, you had a huge amount of restaurants and bars to choose from.

A fridge would be good. However, it didn't make much of a difference to me .

Room was excellent and felt modern. The staff spoke English and were very polite. There was a safe and hairdryer in the room. Beach towels could be hired for two euros. There was a supermarket that was open all hours a one minute walk away. The beach was less than a five minute walk. Excellent hotel for the price we paid.

As an English person, I love tea, so to have a kettle in the room would have been amazing.

The room is a comfortable size, clean, comfortable, with a large balcony where you can sit and smoke and/or drink coffee. The cleanliness was maintained regularly, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located 200 meters from the beach. There is a large grocery store and a large fruit and vegetable shop 10 meters away. There are several bars, restaurants and cafes and also a pharmacy. Bus stops 22 and 21 are 10 metres from the hotel, while tram stops 4 and 5 are 300 metres away. The beach is HUGE. Miles long to the north and ending in the south with a headland jutting out into the sea with wild beaches and dunes. Along the beach there is a bike path and many restaurants.

very good size single room, with a double bed. good size bathroom with easy access walk in shower, which had rain head and hand held control. TV had BBC news and other language channels. plenty of wardrobe space. the balcony was small but you could put the chair on it. useful having socket in shelf near bed to charge phones etc. there are 8 floors and 2 lifts. the hotel has friendly and helpful staff. the reception ladies can speak English. I had one problem with my shower and it was fixed the same day. I paid for the buffet breakfast (15 euros) each day and there was a reasonable selection of items. I especially enjoyed the baked apples and having decaffeinated hot drinks options. we also had drinks from the bar. as my friend likes to make her own green tea, she was able to get hot water from the bar (1 euro) as there is no kettles in the rooms. the prices of the drinks and food in the hotel were reasonable. the swimming pool was lovely and cleaned and checked every day. beach towels and room safes were available for a daily charge. the beach is very close to the hotel and there are restaurants nearby too. the bus to Alicante stops outside the hotel and there are buses to El Campello and other places too. there are 3 trams, which also can be used, although the stops are not so near the hotel. virtually everything you need is a short and flat walk away . San Juan playa has a lot of tree lined roads and in mid May it wasn't too busy so we didn't have to book restaurants for dinner . if you want dinner in the hotel you do need to pre book. however the bar does also serve hot food including pizzas.

English people do like a kettle in their room, but this is not something they have in Spain. but getting hot water from the bar was fine. however everything was great and would recommend this hotel.

Staff were very helpful and the location was excellent. Room was cleaned daily to a very high standard and towels replaced every day

We missed coffee making facilities in the room and the soap dispenser was VERY hard to operate.

there was free on street parking. My room was terrific and I greatly enjoyed my first stay in Alicante. The hotel was very close to the beach but also surrounded by shops, restaurants etc. I tried the pool, which was open at the end of December, but it was unheated. The bed was large and comfortable and I enjoyed the balcony, for sunlight without leaving the room

There was noise about 3 am and I'im not sure if it was from a local club or car parked nearby.

The location is very good, only few minutes from the beach and the restaurants and shops around. Great for solo travelers. The bathroom is renovated and clean. The first room I was in was very bad, bad smell and really old, it was on 2nd floor. I asked for a different one and then I got a super nice room on 3rd floor, which was clean, no weird smell, and very comfortable bad. I would put excellent if I got that room from the beginning. Swimming pool is nice and clean, there was some construction going on nearby so it was a bit noisy to relax at the pool but still fine. Good option to take some break from the wind at the beach.

They have different quality of rooms and it depends which one you get. Also, I tried to call the hotel and I also sent the email before I arrive as I arrived very late and no one answered, despite calling several times towards the day.
