The staff were great and very friendly. Breakfast was a great selection, coffee machines are slow so when it is busy so go hunting for the ones located at the back of the food hall. Lunch restaurant was really good. Pool area was well organized with lots of shade. Room was lovely, frontal sea view highly recommended. Really easy to walk into Altea town, approx 15 minutes, it is a safe walk, there is a path which is divided with the road by safety bollards - or you can get a complimentary bus via the hotel. On your last day if you do not book a late check out the hotel can offer a changing room which was perfect.

This is not a compliant in any way shape or form, but a few sunbeds on the beach might have been good given that the beach is so lovely. (Hint - take beach shoes as it is rocky)

The breakfast was ok although the bacon was very very greasy I was tempted to use my serviette to dry it but I was only given one serviette which i used to wipe my hands. The view from the room was ok even tho the view we had was to watch diners eating breakfast etc.

The entertainment left a lot to be desired, two of our 5 nights was a jazz group which I think is a very limited like. The next night there were two girls dancing on the side of the stage, not impressed, and the next night was a gent in a tee shirt and jeans trying to sing some songs, We are just glad there was double glazing which made it all a little less loud, even tho it didnt stop until gone midnight. The beach referred to in this survey was large pebbles and shale no good for sunbathing or walking on and it was approx 6ft in depth from the wall around the hotel so not much of a beach. We dont think anything about the hotel was 4*

Location is great, right by the beach where there is literally no one, the hotel was clean and super easy to park your car. The staff at front desk were so nice and really helped us with questions, spa bookings etc. Overall a great experience!

The music, very loud music, I wish instead of party music they played very low volume relaxing music. I can understand one day in the weekend of party music but not all day every day, it undervalues the hotel experience.

i liked the facility , location and the breakfast

Staff are far from being service oriented , in the pool area, staff came to close the umbrella over my head , claiming it’s windy , yet left the rest open and the umbrella over his head , no logic . the reception send you down to take the towel , the person down left early for the day , they send you up again , as if no one had any information of try to provide the right service , all hotels have the basic service , to Excelnot then you need to pay attention to the details .

Very very clean. All staff excellent. Breakfast good. Drinks prices not too bad.

The food in the pool restaurant at lunchtime was poor. First day, we ordered chicken which was raw in the middle and had to send back. You can only order food at the bar before 1pm or after 4pm, so you have to eat in the pool restaurant if you are on bed and breakfast. Not good and over priced. Could do with more information about the hotel facilities. By the time we had learned everything about the hotel and facilities, it was time to go home. It would be good to have an information booklet in each room.

The hotel is perfect in every way. Spacious and spotlessly clean everywhere. Check in staff extremely helpful and informative. Our room was airy and cool with a luxuriously comfortable and enormous bed. Shower in bathroom was amazing. The food was the best hotel food I have ever had. Totally spoiled for choice and very well cooked. The buffet was constantly topped up and food never ran out . Lots of sunloungers and umbrellas around the pool area as well as places to sit and eat or enjoy the excellent evening entertainment. The hotel has direct access to a private beach. An outside pool bar or inside more laid back type of bar were both well stocked and both had plenty of seating. Going back to our room, it was cleaned every day to a very high standard. Bedding and towels were excellent quality and the bathrobes a real treat. Generous sizes of both towels and robes. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough and to top it all parking was free. For those who want it there were plenty of international channels on TV including plenty of British ones. Pool towels provided along with tea and coffee making facilities.

Bar prices were not always consistent for the same drinks each day.

Breakfast was excellent. Lots of options and all good quality. The room was excellent. Clean and spacious. We had a "sea view" and it was lovely. We had an issue with a spa visit and the staff/hotel were super understanding and resolved the issue to our satisfaction. The facilities available to cyclist were excellent. Lockers, bike locks, bike wash, laundry facilities. It was all very appreciated. The staff were excellent. Many stood - friendly and helpful.

We were really put off by the need to "buy" water at meals. During our first few days, water was not available at breakfast or at dinner. Over the last few days, water was available at breakfast, but you had to purchase water at all times at dinner time. It felt like an unnecessary gouge. The "spa" was not worth the price - some of the things available were not functioning properly - the sensory shower and the steam room. The hottub is also kept at a tepid temperature, so if you are looking for a good, hot soak, this isn't it.

Very clean, friendly staff always on hand, stunning pool, great bar, cycling facilities perfect. Entertainment was a bonus.

The buffet needs plant based/vegan options to be labelled. No one seemed to know what was in the dishes. And meat or dairy was in almost everything, including (weirdly) minestrone soup, and the vegetable soup. Approx 3% of guests must have had the same issue, given around that many people are vegan in Europe.

Breakfast was GREAT! one of the best buffet breakfasts i have ever had. Great variety, staff always on hand to top anything up that was close to being empty. Very good quality food. Room was comfy. Bed on the firmer side then what we prefer, but quite standard and still nice and comfortable. Room was very clean when we arrived, and was kept clean throughout the stay with fresh bedding etc.

Location was excellent. Food on buffet was excellent 3/4 nights. One night didn’t have as much variety. Breakfast was very good.

There was not sufficient bike storage so i was forced to store my bike in a room that is already relatively small. Laundry prices were astronomical but fortunately there is a lavanderia next door that charges 11e for 5kg. Most cycling hotels offer overnight cycling kit wash and dry either free or at a nominal cost.
