It's a beautiful hotel that is located a walkable distance from the bus station, which is good because there were no taxis waiting outside. It is also about a 15 minute walk to the city walls (las murallas) which is where visitors will be spending most of their time. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. It also opened at 7:00 a.m., which is very early for Spain but great for me.

The single elevator was not up to the task of handling the number of guests.

We chose the hotel because of its short walking distance from the train station. It proved to be a good decision. The surrounding neighbourhood was quiet, and about 15 minutes walk to the walls of Avila. Our room was quiet and comfortable. All staff at reception were exceedingly courteous and helpful. We would definitely return.

Location was perfect as we needed to catch the train to Madrid the following morning. Room was very comfortable and we were allowed to check in early. They also looked after our bags earlier so we could walk around the city and make the most of our time. We were very impressed with Avila, a stunning city! Breakfast was great- plenty of choice and very kind, helpful staff member.

Only thing which could have been better was the food situation when we arrived as only snacks available and we were pretty desperate for a meal.

Well...everything 1st class...but....lady at breakfast miserable! She eyed everyone up and down. A lady asked for breakfast tea, and she rolled her eyes! Think she needs some training. She had an apron on saying "have a nice day". We giggled as we thought she had to wear this as her face says otherwise 😅

The hotel is very close to the train station and a 10 min easy walk to town centre. The decor of hotel and room quite classy. I had a room with a terrace. Breakfast was adequate with a fair choice of food and nice coffee. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. My stay was during the recent Spain power outage so couldn't really enjoy the hotel as much if there was electricity.

Absolutely outstanding, cannot recommend it highly enough. Less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station. They kept my luggage for me both before check-in and after check-out at no charge. Very spacious and clean room with air-conditioning and a little mini bar (so a fridge!). Room service if required. Has a lift. Lovely reception area and a cute bar/cafeteria that appeared to be popular with locals too. Didn't use the breakfast room but it looked good.

A very friendly hotel, with secure underground parking for our motorcycles. We had a very clean room with a comfortable bed and good toiletries. Breakfast had a reasonable choice. It was a 20 minute walk to the city walls.

Great location, warm and friendly staff, super comfortable rooms (loved the spacious balcony too), great breakfast, so much choice! Beautiful decor and calm, peaceful atmosphere.

It would have been good to have had parking at the hotel but we were able to find a space in the residential area nearby

The hotel is just welcoming from the moment you walk into reception, the staff we interacted with were all helpful and very friendly. The rooms were clean and furnished to a good standard given the price range of the hotel. The bathroom facilities, toiletries etc were of very good quality. Parking on site (paid) is also a welcome bonus. Location to the old town is also good.

Only two minor criticisms; there is some noise carrying through the bathroom walls where you can hear every movement. Also the bed in 310 tends to slide across the floor if you sit up in bed against the headboard, a simple fix
