We really enjoyed our time at this property. We stayed 7nights so made good use of the kitchenette facilities for breakfast and therefore didn’t opt for the hotel’s breakfast. The size and layout of our room was sufficient for our purposes. Staff were very willing to help with our needs and requests. The best part was the location and its close proximity to the train station, supermarkets, main parts of Gracia’s attractions and of course Casa Vicens Gaudi!

Although not commonly found in Europe - the use of fly screens on windows would be a blessing. The room had nice big windows allowing natural light and fresh air, however I got attacked by mosquitoes. I am prone to being bitten though so this is personal preference.

The hotel is very well located, right next to Fontana station. The area is very nice with Casa Vicens Gaudi right next door. You can even walk to Sagrada Familia. There are lots of little restaurants close by.

The rooms are slightly outdated. There is currently some renovation work happening so after wards the rooms should be a lot nicer again. The renovation work makes it a bit noisy in the mornings. The hotel is overall not very soundproof and you can hear a lot from the neighbouring rooms. Water pressure could be better.

Fabulous location less than 5 minute walk from Metro station (Fontana). Room was very spacious, comfortable bed/pillows, small kitchen area with everything you need, including a microwave, a good size fridge & table with 2 chairs. Complimentary water available in reception area. Great shower, with shower gel, hand-wash & hairdryer provided in the bathroom. Towels changed & room clean as requested. Shutters on outside of the window to help keep the light out. Iron & ironing board provided on request. Staff were extremely polite & helpful. As it was my birthday during our stay, they bought a bottle of bubbly to our room, a lovely touch. Plenty of amazing restaurants/bars less than 5 minutes walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Only one thing, which was sounds that could be heard from adjoining rooms, but we turned the air conditioning on which drowned out any sounds.

We were given a warm welcome by the reception staff,and they were extremely helpful throughout our stay. The facilities in the room were good,and the foot massager was a big bonus.We sat in the garden every evening with a bottle of wine and met other guests, The Metro was a few minutes away,and the buses into the city center were right by the hotel. We will definitely return on our next Barcelona trip.

Quiet. Has cutlery. Main lobby has honesty bar reasonably priced coffee & a complimentary water point conveniently located. eco-friendly. u can refill yr water bottles. Helpful staff like Veronica, Florin. Love-hate the lift system. U need to open the exterior glass door manually b4 entering the lift. Difficult if yr hands are full. But safe.

The room layout for interior courtyard room is awkward. The bed is next to the sink/kitchenette. Thankfully, it can be closed up by the foldable doors. TV connection is poor. Didnt take breakfast as it starts only at 8am. A simple menu.

Helpful information on their website re location and how to get there, suggestions of where to walk/visit, courteous pre-arrival messages. Excellent location (Fontana Metro station on L3 Green line is two blocks away). Gracia neighbourhood has all needed amenities and is walkable to “downtown” and many sights. Building feels secure, with 24-hr staff at Reception and guests leaving room keys at the desk when going out. Hotel lobby is attractive (piano, books about the region, honesty bar for coffee/wine/whisky, water machine). Pleasant staff - this is a significant attraction of staying here. Comfortable bed, good reading lights above bed, aromatherapy body product dispensers and clothesline in bathroom. Openable windows and electric shades. WiFi is quite good. TV includes some English-language channels. Bonus: electric foot-massager, which I appreciated after a long day of walking. Note: room cleaning/servicing is available on request the night before (I chose none, preferring to treat the room as an apartment rather than a hotel.)

No self-laundry facilities. Sometimes, noise transference through walls. Kitchenette could use a few things.

The reception staff, Melissa, Francesca and Celia were exceptionally helpful. Celia especially went out of her way to make sure all our queries and needs were addressed very promptly and efficiently and with a friendly smile. Please complement Celia and the others.

The safe didn't work properly but we were only there for 2 nights. Celia did try to make it work but there was something wrong with it and it was over the weekend so difficult to fix immediately

I had a fantastic 10-day stay in Barcelona. The location was truly outstanding, as it was very close to the city center. The Sagrada Familia was just a short walk away, and for those who prefer not to walk too much, there's a subway station conveniently located near the hotel. In addition, there were plenty of grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants in the vicinity. The room was spacious enough for two people, and although I didn't make use of the kitchen all the time, it's worth mentioning that guests have the option to prepare their meals rather than dining out every day. Breakfasts were also available every day.

We were assigned a room with windows facing the interior courtyard, which unfortunately lacked proper ventilation and natural light. As a result, I had to rely on the air conditioner for the duration of my stay, and at times, it struggled to maintain a consistently comfortable temperature. While I understand that Barcelona is known for its sunny and seaside climate, in the middle of October, the room felt a bit chilly, and I would have appreciated having an extra blanket instead of sheets. I'd also like to offer a minor suggestion: it would be beneficial to have more space for drying towels. The clothesline provided in the room was somewhat limited, making it a bit challenging for me to efficiently dry my towels.

Nice small hotel which is spotlessly clean, lovely reception staff and 3 minute's walk away from the 'Fontana' Barcelona metro stop. Also near to a couple of supermarkets and a great coffee shop called Cafe Luna. I really liked that they had a kitchenette with a hob and provided washing up accessories. I particularly liked the fridge where I would keep drinks and food cold.

On my return visit, I was expecting to be allocated a better room instead of being allocated the small rooms on the first floor. The ones on the floors above (like the 7th floor) are much bigger in size, and have baths and bigger walk in showers. Wash basins in the bathrooms are not friendly to wet shavers - far too shallow - so the hotel chose design over practicability. I also didn't like that the hotel closed the access to the garden on the first floor at 8pm. No one can access it without going through reception, so why close it at 8pm? Hoping that they can change the rules on this!

This was our 1st stop on a 2 month trip. We liked the location for all the amenities near by, but it is a way from the heart and activities of Barcelona. That can be a good thing or a bad thing, it depends on expectations. It was comfortable, clean, staff helpful, parking available, but a bit challenging. Metro at the end of the street, though we didn’t use it. Overall a great start to our trip!
