I loved my stay at Hotel Paxton Barcelona! Breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had. Out of many hotels I've stayed at, this was the only one with fresh orange juice, which I love. There was a huge variety of fruits and breads, and the coffee was delicious. The staff were very friendly, and the great view from the breakfast area was exceptional. I also loved the room. The bed was super clean and comfortable. The sheets and towels were clean and smelled fresh, one of the things I paid the most attention to. There was a mini-fridge to store drinks, yogurt, or juice. The closet had some drawers and space to organize clothes, which was great. There was also a desk to work on a laptop. They offer complimentary coffee and water in the room, which is a lovely gesture. They also provide various complimentary amenities like slippers, Iron, a sewing kit, and shaving kit, and they dont charge extra for it. The two times I needed to contact the reception, they were prompted to help me. It was truly a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it. When I return to Barcelona, I will definitely come back to Paxton!

There are just two things I didn't like that much , the soap like orange/citrus scent, but t’s a personal preference of mine and the shower box ,it doesn't have door.

The whole stay absolutely exceeded my expectations. The location of the hotel is in a quieter area, less than 5 minutes walk from the L4 metro station and less than 10 minutes walk from the sea. Two streets from the hotel is the smaller La Rambla with lots of restaurants, it's not that crowded, so perfect for someone for whom the most famous La Rambla in the centre is too much. The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful, clean, modern, the staff is always friendly and willing to help with anything. Rooms very cosy, spacious, cleaned every day. Nespresso coffee machine and drinking water in glass available directly in the room. The cosmetics from Rituals brand is just a nice addition already. The pool with terrace and bar is on the 4th floor, there was always free space, there are plenty of sunbeds. At the bar you can order alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and food. Free towels are available for rent right at the entrance. Breakfast excellent, varied, huge choice every day, so there really is something for everyone. As a big plus I rate the plant based milk and yoghurt. I definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back sometime.

Breakfasts were outstanding! I enjoyed fresh orange juice, fresh sliced pineapple and piel de sapo melon, cheese selection and finally - bakery products from Madeleine by Ferrieres - all was wonderfully tasty! Rooms - spacy, modern equipment, comfortable beds, bed sheets were silky? Bathroom - towels and bathrobes very soft; shampoo & soap were Rituals brands with very pleasant smell. Staff - professional, friendly, pleasant, helpful. Perfect! The management has to be very happy that they have created and now operate such a hospitality masterpiece. Congratulations to all the hotel team!

That we had to leave home…

We had a great stay at the Paxton Hotel. The receptionist who welcomed us was very friendly and proposed us an upgrade. The room was very clean, modern and the bed very comfortable. It is very easy to regulate the temperature in the room with the help of the thermostat. There is a coffee machine in the room. As we drink tea, we asked the reception and got a kettle for our stay, which we appreciated. We have been many times in Barcelona but never in the area of Poblenou, which we found very nice. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby (next to the hotel or just walking along the nice Rambla del Poblenou). The wonderful beaches (Mar Bella or Bogatell - much nicer than Barceloneta) are just 10-15 min walk. To metro station (Llacuna) is only 350m from the hotel but if you like long walks (like we do) it is possible to reach the center by foot as well. The breakfast was excellent, you can enjoy it while watching what is going on in the surroundings of the hotel. Last but not least: after the check-out, we could leave our luggage in the hotel till the evening, which was of a great help.

The noise insulation was the only minor point which we noted. We could hear some voices from rooms next to ours or from the outside. However after long days of walking in Barcelona, we had deep sleep and this was not an issue.

The pool is amazing and a must in the summerheat! Overall look and feel is great, it is very clean and staff is very attentive. Location for us was perfect, plenty of nice breakfast/brunch spots and close enough to all the major BCN hotspots. We moved around using the VIO bikes and YEGO scooters. The smart TV was also a bonus. Overall super nice experience, we will be back!

Nothing major but the shower gets really wet and there is not enough hanging possibilities for your towels. We did find the late check out fee very expensive (50 EU for 1 hr because they only have fixed prices for up to 2 hrs and up to 6 hrs).

The restaurant staff were great at accommodating our needs. We travelled with a small child. Also the interior design in the hotel is consistent throughout the hotel, sexy and bold.

I would not recommend leaving clothes on the bedside table or the cleaners would move them about somewhat insensitively. The room was made to feel incredibly spacious by removing doors from cabinets and between spaces. An obvious drawback of this decision was that we had to manage the toddler if we wanted to take a shower or use the toilet(there was a frosted glass door but had no latch or lock on it) 😁

1. It’s a shame that it’s not in the centre of the town. One can’t simply wander around and have lunch/dinner nearby. You have to take the metro to find restaurants which was a bit annoying. 2. There was no door in the shower room, and I had to clean the water after taking a shower. And the room was a bit damp due to the fact that there’s no door in the shower….Basically you bed is connected to the bathroom….Would be great to separate the two for many many reasons…..

we were very pleased with our stay at Paxton Barcelona. This is our second time here, and we will definitely be back again. What we loved most was the minimalist design, with warm wood tones and black accents creating a sleek yet inviting atmosphere. The wooden light parquet floors added a sense of comfort and coziness. The hallways were pleasant, and the newly designed doors gave everything a refined, modern feel. Our room was spacious, featuring a beautifully minimal shower and sink area in warm, calming tones. And most importantly - the mattress was incredibly comfortable. So much, that I actually looked up the brand! The breakfast was simple but enjoyable - not overly abundant, but definitely satisfying. We also enjoyed the swimming pool with its bar - everything felt very clean, modern, and well maintained. The overall ambiance was both homey and contemporary, with a real sense of calm and relaxation.

We had a fantastic experience at Paxton Hotel Barcelona and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The room was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable — with one of the best showers I’ve ever had in a hotel. It really set the tone for a relaxing stay. The rooftop pool was a highlight — beautifully designed with panoramic views of the city, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The rooftop bar also exceeded expectations, and special mention goes to Giuseppe, the bartender up there. He was incredibly polite, kind, and helpful. His warm energy and professionalism made our evenings extra special. We also enjoyed some great food and drinks at the hotel bar downstairs — everything was fresh and delicious. The hotel is in a great location: central enough to reach everything easily, but quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep. All in all, Paxton offered the perfect mix of modern comfort, style, and hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely nothing

Nice, clean, spacious room with a comfortable bed, great location close to Poblenou Ramblas and public transport. Great pool and rooftop bar. Staff friendly and helpful with local bars and restaurants. Breakfast choices extensive.

Open bathroom fine until partner goes to toilet in the middle of the night and the light shines into the whole room. More shade options around the pool and chilled glasses at the rooftop bar would be nice, although I’m being picky and wouldn’t stop me staying again. Seagulls drinking from the pool was a bit offputting though.
