Diana (young woman from Peru), your manager, was excellent! She was so helpful, attentive and professional. She went above and beyond in helping us book our hotel in Madrid, also helped us with booking our train tickets online. Judith, your breakfast manager was also truly awesome! So welcoming and kind. She made us feel right at home. We commend both of them highly!

Even when our experience with the people was wonderful, we found the hotel to be pretty basic. The room was small, very limited closet and shelf space, no space to put our luggage on (we had to borrow an extra chair to make do), no Kleenex were available thus not provided.

The staff was very friendly and polite. The room was clean and enough for what we needed. The cleaning was done daily even if we stayed for 2 nights. The breakfast was perfect for us, with a lot of variety to choose from. A 5-minute walk from the Sagrada Familia. The position of the hotel is very convenient as we could walk everywhere from there. Our flight was in the evening and check-out was at noon so the staff let us leave the luggage with them till we had to leave for the airport. Overall was a nice experience. We will be going back.

Staff at this hotel were lovely, smiling, and helpful. Our room located on the 5th floor was quiet, and rooms were serviced daily. There was plenty of storage space. There was a variety of hot and cold options on offer at breakfast. Breakfast bowls were huge, and their granola delicious. The location was an easy 10 minute walk from Sagrada Familia, and the Sagrada Familia Metro Station. There were lots of restaurants and small supermarkets in the area. We used the Metro to get around as the Hop On Hop Off Buses we saw had queues of people waiting (Sunday 19 November). Getting to and from the airport wasn't difficult either as we travelled light. From the airport, catch the orange line (L9 South), change at Collblanc station onto the blue line (L5, towards Vall d'Hebron) and get off at Sagrada Familia Metro Station. It costs just over 5 Euros per person. We used the Hola Barcelona Travel Card which made travel stress free. We purchased on-line before we left, and it was easy to pick up from ticket machine at airport metro station (English language button on machine).

The keycard to Room 504 was temperamental. The door never opened on the first try. Sometimes it took up to 10 tries before it opened. We had to go down to reception at least twice because the door wouldn't open. A staff member came with us, and helped us open the door. It seemed acceptable that many tries were required. We have stayed at lots of hotels over the years, and never had problems using key cards before. Staff were always kind, but not being able to open the door to your room after a long day out exploring this wonderful city, was tiring, and quite frankly, annoying. This was the only reason we did not give this hotel more stars. There was only one chair for sitting in the room. A chair for each guest would have been better.

Very conveniently located near the Sagrada Familia with lots of nice restaurants. It is a no-frills hotel but very comfortable. The entire staff at the property were very courteous and extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was also good and staff were helpful in getting gluten free products and lactose free milk if required

Maybe a coffee maker in the room would have been nice.....

Very helpful staff: everyone spoke English with ease, and sorted even technical issues for us. Very good breakfasts, with no eye on the clock for finishing on time.

Difficult to find in first place: needs a brighter, more prominent sign. Use of lift with card is fiddly - doesn’t always work… Map not very clear - too many streetswithout names. Difficult to find a good, non-tapas restaurant.

The hotel staff was very helpful and always very pleasant. The breakfast was awesome, and the location is great. Also, the beds are very comfortable.

The open shower concept, but this is not unusual for European hotels. there is a glass wall but it only partially encloses the shower, so when you shower there's water all over the floor.

Superb location (Sagrada Familia is just behind the corner!), really, really good breakfast with lots of choices (vegetarian and vegan too!), friendly and helpful staff! Quite good value for money, and everything was really clean! I would highly recommend it!

Paper-thin walls, and some noise during night time, but nothing too bad. We got some good night sleep nevertheless!

It is centrally located to major sights! The personnel were attentive.

When we first arrived the A/C was not working 🥵I spoke with front desk personnel. I was told to try a couple of ‘tweaks’. I followed their instructions with no success. We planned on going out for a few hours. I was told they would fix the situation while we were gone. We returned; very hot and exhausted, to our room where the A/C was STILL NOT WORKING. After personnel came and ‘tweaked’ the system we were EVENTUALLY moved to a different room.

We loved our stay in Ibis Barcelona Centro! - comfortable beds - quiet environment - amazing location - lovely staff - well-working a/c - cleanliness - luggage deposit available.

Everything was great, still some minor things to be improved. - poor breakfast; even though the quality of food was good, it was very unvaried - the bathroom door didn't close - the room was quite small for 2+1, we didn't have much space to keep our things.

Perfect for its location. Wonderful staff. Good enough breakfast and it was quiet enough. Maybe the hotel was not as busy but no loud noises. We had street room and you do get some road noise but nothing special. Just the usual. Also they clean every day.

Although you might expect, you do t get nothing. No amenities no mini bar nothing. But it is understandable.
