Friendly staff and helped us with everything we needed. Due to weather conditions it was the only room we could have booked, as everything else was booked out. They were kind enough to accept our booking, especially when we arrived with a small child, they didn't know about when booked.

If we were 5 seconds late we would have lost our booking- we took the last room in the hotel that night. A couple who arrived just after us was sent away. As much as we were very grateful for the booking, overbooking and sending people away, especially when due to storm accommodations were limited, it seemed a bit cheeky.

We got bright and spacious room on 7th floor with view to the street (thanks to the staff). Hotel is on great location for a family with kids. Again, very kind staff are doing their best to satisfy guests and good rating is thanks to them. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Some parts of interior are not on the level of 4 stars hotel and need refurbishment (tiles, doors, bathtub, window..). Sound isolation around the door could be better. Not to mention rooms with view on the opposite side of the street, they should have a lot cheaper price.

Super Location, nice personal.

The hotel is getting old and it is showing, the beds are still confortable but squeeky. In the room the ventilator to dehumidifie the room was making too much noise because the fan was misaligned. One of the breakfast workers was almost rude, couldn't also communicate with guests since he speaks only Spanish. The worst part was the lack of noise isolation, you could hear everything happening in the floors especially in the morning with the cleaning carts.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the port and mount Tibidabo from the balcony, which I used every morning and evening. My son liked the shower strength and the turn down service. The location was excellent for accessing buses from Plaça due Catalunya and for walking to main attractions and restaurants. Breakfast included a vast array of choice and the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Food was presented stylishly and was fresh and tasty. The breakfast room was airy and pleasant to sit in as were the other areas around the hotel.

On the first day my bed wasn’t made whereas my son’s was. This was not an issue as we were staying for 4 nights and I had made my bed before we left the room - albeit not as tidily as room service! Everything else was superb including the gym, fresh water daily, mini fridge in the room and all the staff we met.

Excellent location close to Barcelona Cathedral and right next to a large grocery store, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, bus lines. Couldn’t be better.

I stayed on room 505. Excellent air conditioning. Everything was good except the room next door is a storage facility for cleaning staff. When they open and close the door it wakes everyone up. It needs to be fixed. The shower drain was plugged-minor. Otherwise was excellent!

We had a problem with our room and when we went to talk to the staff at the reception desk. One staff member stood out exceptional. Luis took a hand of our problem and acted very human and professional. The problem was solved without a blink of an eye. These guys are a wonder to work with. Thank you for the stay. Luis, you are magical...We will surely come back

That we didn't stay longer.

Location is excellent at the very boundary of gothic quarter and La Rambla street. Beach is walkable and major rail and bus stops are all walkable. Rooms can be a bit better in terms of size and facilities but the once with balcony view are really nice. Alex there is really kind and helpful.

Initial room was smaller but on request was upgraded. Some facilities and ambience can be better in the room.

The staff was really nice and competent , also in the morning buffet. breakfast was very good, we asked for a lunch box ( because we was leaving early and could not eat breakfast ) and we got a lot of food !cookies, chocolate, sandwiches, water and juice - there was food for a whole day ! Hotel is save for woman traveling alone <3

We could hear noises from the street but only one night but We could not hear other guests at all.

The property was modern and comfortable. Location was fantastic. Rooms were spacious. Coffee and tea replaced each day in the rooms. Cleaned every day.

Breakfast was basic, but did the job.

Location. It is right next to the cathedral and the gothic quarter, just 10 mins away from Rambla. Loed the reception guy who checked us in- Luis I believe was his name, the nice perk of being served a cup of cava. Bedding was good

Please make sure what room you book. Possibly ours was a standard double. It was not up to 4 stars, not even 3. Small, horrific view out if the window, very worn out in terms of paint and details, bathroom door didn’t close properly, the marble floor was stained…
