The hotel is really well-located The personnel is great and you have a spa in the hotel and a great rooftop

Lack of services for a 4* hotel First we don't even have a bathrobe of slippers which is supposed to be a requirement in this kind of place. Second, you have to pay for the spa (20€/pp) even if we stay at the hotel, not even a reduction which is kind of surprising when we know the price. Thirdly, the pool was closed but you don't have information about it. You cannot eat at the rooftop knowing that they indicate “kitchen and bar” and the room service system doesn't work at all…

Hotels are crazy expensive in BCN, and Melia Sky at least provide adequate value for money. The room size was nice, the view was great, the bed was comfortable, and the bath was a nice touch. We didn't try the SPA but the outdoor pool is quite nice (although drinks, especially cocktails, were definitely overpriced for the quality). Staff super helpful. There was an infrastructural problem at our floor on the last days of our stay, and the hotel managers gave access to special amenities to compensate, which was a nice gesture.

The building materials don't seem of very good quality : The shower would always leak water into the rest of the bathroom, and there is no possibility to open any windows apart from cleaning staff, hence when one day we asked not to clean because we were resting, the air in the room quickly became very stale.

Beds are really comfy, rooms are clean.

The interior of the hotel surprised me (in a negative way). Everything is metalic, the oposite of cosy, never seen a hotel like this. The lobby is made of metalic walls, feels like bwing inside a can. Just not our taste at all. Breakfest was rather poor during weekdays, yet on Saturday when we left we had breakfest at the upper floor, where it was great. Difficult to understand why the good breakfest is only during the weekend, not fair at all for the clients, as you pay the same price.

Stayed at Meliá for my 44th birthday. We were a group of 6 adults and a 5 year old. The hotel is situated about euro 22 taxi fare from Las Ramblers. It is euro 60 from the airport . Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The beach is 20min walk. Lots of good restaurants. I enjoyed my stay

Hotel Breakfast was 23 euro per person. This is a bit pricey. It would have been nice if breakfast were included in the stay. The spa also costs Euro 20 to use. I think this is a bit cheeky.

The location was perfect, and staying on The Level definitely added a touch of luxury to the experience. I really appreciated the tapas hour — such a smart option if you’ve just arrived or want a quick bite before dinner. The breakfast area was both beautiful and relaxing, with tasty and varied options to start the day. The room itself was comfortable, and the beds were great for a good night's sleep. The views were also a nice bonus.

The open-concept layout of the room lacked privacy — the toilet wasn’t in a separate space, which isn’t ideal for ventilation or comfort. The shower was also quite small, and the bathtub felt unnecessary given the space could’ve been used more effectively. For a room booked under The Level, I expected a bit more in terms of furnishings and design. Also, the lighting in the bathroom wasn’t functional for doing makeup — mostly backlighting with no good mirror setup.

Location was great! Everything was 20-30 mins on the train and close to the train station. Rooms were big and clean.

The lighting in the room was poor in the night- not strong enough and switches were fiddly. Water pressure in the shower was also really low which wasn’t great.

An amazing hotel experience, would 100% recommend to everyone & hope to stay again soon!! The customer service experience & just the general helpfulness from staff was like no other. I have never stayed in a hotel with such great hospitality like the Melià, they made me feel so comfortable as a female solo traveler & made sure that I had everything that I needed to ensure I had a great stay☺️ Although the hotel wasn’t a central location, it was in an area that was an easy & walkable distance from attractions like: The La Sagrada Familia & it just felt very safe which is important when traveling alone!! I also just loved that they had a bar & restaurant inside the hotel, if you wanted to quickly have a drink or to grab something to eat it was easy enough to do so.

I booked in for a massage with Sophia, which i thoroughly enjoyed. She made my experience very comfortable & took great care in focusing on areas where I had pain, I would definitely recommend booking her for your massage!! However, the service from the spa receptionist’s was appalling & really unorganised. I was often just left waiting (for around 40 minutes altogether) which reduced my time using the spa facilities. I wouldn’t say that it was worth the €69 & there are definitely better spas I would recommend in the city of Barcelona.

The hotel was a good walk out of the centre of Barcelona but we like to walk and explore so this suited us. We also discovered the nearby Rambla de Poblenou which was a wonderful street to explore and choose one of the many options to eat and drink. The food at the hotel was of a consistently high quality with a huge choice. Service was also professional, efficient and friendly. Bar prices were not too high. The bedroom was spacious and the air con was quiet and effective.

I didn't love the semi open layout of shower and toilet within the bedroom with no/glass doors to separate. The shower wasn't very powerful but I'm getting picky now!

Nice location easy access to metro , tram, bus and taxi . We used metro, Tram and bus, taxi all modes of transportation to tour the city . Sky top bar was not impressive due to glass walls and inside too much lightings. Breakfast was real good , service was excellent .

We thought we are getting two attached rooms with one door between . In reality it was two separate rooms . If we would know this , we would have booked only one room with a third bed for our young daughter .

Breakfast was in two different locations. One was in the lobby which was wonderful. The other was on the 24th floor with a view which was superb. The room was large, well appointed, comfortable with a terrific view

There were not a lot of cafes or restaurants in the immediate area. Still, we had a metro pass and easily got into town and back. Otherwise there was nothing unpleasant or that I would change.
