The hotel is ideally located. A 4 min walk from the beach & midway between the old town & Benidorm square. The staff are very friendly, the facilities are clean & the food/drinks options were great value for money. The rooms are ample size. A few negatives: 1. The pool area was a bit chaotic trying to find a lounger in the sun, a lot of people reserving beds really early then not using them half the day. 2. Our bathroom had a really disgusting smell, I assume this was due to the fact we were on the 16th (top) floor & it must be difficult to get the water pressure up in an older style building.

Comfortable room, hotel very clean and good location. Food selection good. The girl organising entertainment was brilliant and had good rapport with the guests and lower bar entertaining area was both comfortable and spacious. Bar staff were very efficient and friendly. Overall a very good experience.

Not enough inside seating so on bad weather days, nowhere to sit in the bar area during daytime. The pigeons were a nuisance outside, need to try and deter them, not helped by guests feeding them despite signs not to do so! Most of the restaurant staff were very good but on occasions used plates piled up on the side of the table and weren't removed for some time. On arrival there was just one receptionist although it was busy, other times when quiet, there were two. It took 40 minutes queueing to check in, despite having already done online check in 🤔

Especially to Raul and Maurizio who took care of me every evening. * Great location: close to the beach, close to old and new town. * The spa facilities are great. * The bed was comfortable.

* I booked a deluxe single room - but it turned out to be a standard room (very old furniture). * The food was very poor. Local gastronomy specialties were a bit lacking. *The breakfast was English and there was no variety at dinner.

Location, cleanliness, entertainment and staff all very good.. The entertainment rep in particular always had a smile on her face and made all guests feel very welcome. The bar and restaurant staff were always up for a laugh and always acted in way as to make the guests feel comfortable. Although we didn't see the cleaning staff the whole hotel was what you should expect from a 4 star. ( very clean and presentable). The reception staff were knowledgeable and professional.

Although there is no way of stopping them the pigeons kept coming into the bar area.

I love a good breakfast and that one was excellent. We had a huge suite for disabled people (note: there are only 7 available) with a separate sitting room. My only "complained" is the low toilet (with hand grips and all but a bit low). Otherwise it was superb.

To our dismay the spa was closed during our stay for maintenance. It might be a good idea to inquire before booking if that is important to someone.

Rooms were clean. Bottle of cava on arrival in the room. Staff helpful.

I was in the first room on the 10th floor and on hols i like to have a lay in but was awaken by the maid slamming the doors, in and out of the rooms back and forth. On 2nd morning I had enough but after complaining I was upgraded to a room much further down the corridor which worked wonders.

location in the town. lovely room, good breakfast. service at reception was good. spa lovely,, I had a pedicure.

that as a guest on a bed and breakfast only basis I was unable to get a seat in the bar and order a drink. the only was was to queue with the all inclusive client. Therefore, we didn’t use any of the daytime or evening activities or entertainment, instead we went out.

Everything it’s a beautiful hotel very clean & comfortable and the spa in the basement is amazing it’s also very centrally situated so ideal if you don’t drive

I think the outdoor pool should be heated in low season, I also think the all inclusive should include some kind of ice cream or ice lollies and deserts during the day

The entertainment had improved significantly since the last time we stayed in the hotel as it was not very good before we have stayed in Sandos Monaco four times in the last two years

The food wasn’t as good as it was in the past some days it was a bit cold I had to use the microwave to heat it up and the meat was a bit tough

Lovely, modern hotel and very clean. Just a 10 minute stroll to the sea front and beach. Within easy distance to the old town and shops. Food generally very good and lots of choice, there was something for everyone. Lots of nice touches, including fizz in room on arrival and on Valentine's Day the restaurant themed it to have champagne on arrival, heart shaped desserts, bread rolls, someone making fresh crepes and keyboard player playing romantic songs. Spanish people seem to love Valentine's Day and make a big deal out of it
