For just a 2 star hotel this was a smashing hotel. Amazing open sea view, handy for restaurants etc. Room was clean, simply decorated, great fridge/freezer in room, air conditioning was a godsend. Staff were sooo lovely, friendly & helpful. We didn’t eat in the hotel but could request breakfast if you wanted. Supermarket just round the corner . Would happily go again.

There wasn’t a great deal that we disliked. If I had to be picky, the decor downstairs was very busy, a lot of ‘stuff’ . That probably all added to the charm tbf. It was a 2 star hotel & probably should be more.

This hotel surprised us. It was located in a small town/village that was very quiet and peaceful. Mainly due to lack of a beach I am guessing. You can swim in the cove, but it is not for everyone. I loved it. The hotel owner is just the best. Very nice and helpful. The room we had was top floor overlooking the bay with the best view. There was a massive fridge as well. The aircon worked well, but barely used it because it is so quiet you can sleep with the window open and hear the waves in the bay. There was ample free parking around the hotel. Also a grocery store just up the street with the nicest mother daughter owners. Staying here felt like staying in a small homey town with locals. I wish we would have stayed longer. The outdoor pool and lounge area is incredible with great views and an outside shower. I really had trouble leaving this place. We stayed here and went to local beaches in the area in the early morning to avoid crowds then returned to our quiet village for relaxation. Hotel Rocamar, we will plan to come back! What a great hotel and deserves more than 2 stars. What a gem. highly recommend!

No complaints! Just know the water is not potable. Plan to buy water and these complaints I see about the key is dumb. It was great to leave the key at the front desk and not having to worry about it!

Amazing view from our balcony and an easy walk into town, bus stop and shops. The owners were very kind and helpful, giving us advice on where to go in the area and events on nearby. The rooms were clean, spacious and had air conditioning as well as a fridge. We also had access to a great pool and outdoor area to relax in. We could not fault our stay here and would highly recommend it.

This is a gem of a find, the service is exceptional, we arrived with my partner having extreme vertigo, staff looked after us and called doctor, they went above & beyond. The decking area / pool was much needed as we couldn’t go out much, but I went for a walk around the beautiful port, restaurants nearby. Location is perfect and you get so much more with this hotel, stunning view from sea view rooms, fridge in room, very quiet and peaceful, fantastic service, thank you Hotel Rocamar!

The location is perfect, a beautiful view of the sea, 2 minutes walk from a lovely harbour where there are restaurants with delicious food. If you’re looking for a luxury stay, this is not it, however Hotel Rocamar is unique, quirky, homely cozy and clean. They clean your room everyday and change the towels. The owners are so friendly and helpful and there is a good breakfast available for €15. I would definitely come here again. I was a female solo traveler and felt completely safe in the hotel in the surrounding location. I had the such a lovely relaxed holiday. Perfecto

This hotel was great for our 3-night stay! Our balcony had a seaview, which was lovely to wake up to every morning. The place also has a pool, which was a perfect substitute for one of the days when we wanted a break from the busy beaches. The room was spacious and light, there was also a working airconditioner and a minifridge - true necessities in +30° weather.

The hairdryer in the room was not working and there was a weird smell from an anti-bacterial device installed in the bathroom. It was also a bit annoying to have to leave the room key at the reception everytime we left the property. However, I would say the advantages of the place for sure outweigh these little hiccups :)

Martha and all the staff were so welcoming and could not have been more helpful. We were given leaflets of local places to visit, restaurants, supermarkets and bike hire. She explained how the hotel had been built by her grandfather for her mother and aunt, and had been in the family since then. The pool was excellent with umbrellas available & showers and very welcome after a day out. The whole area around the pool with very comfortable with numerous luxury loungers with cushions. It was great to have air-conditioning, the beds were comfortable and the balcony overlooking the sea had an incredible view. It was also very useful to have a fridge in the room. The breakfast at €15 was extremely good value and plentiful, even with facilities to cook your own eggs. Shower was a bit elderly but perfectly functional and everything was impeccably clean. The coffee machine in the lobby for €2 produced excellent coffee in many variations. Marta pointed out that this had been a new addition. We had a fabulous stay here and would certainly return. Great location with beautiful views! We really liked Cala Figuera and this accomodation. Easy to get street parking nearby. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We would stay again and wished we stayed longer. Good value for money. Location close to other nice beach areas too if you have a car (expect you would need a car to stay here)

Water couldn’t be drunk from taps. Just need to get bottles from nearby supermarket, so not an issue but with noting.

Our stay at Rocamar was perfect. We loved the atmosphere of this small, familly-run hotel with friendly owners and clean swimming pool. The view from balcony was spectacular, so relaxing… Cala Figuera with its picturesque harbor and good restaurants is a good choice if you are looking for a quiet & authentic base for exploring small bays and beaches in the area.

No kettle in the room BUT we could borrow at the reception.
