Location, cleanliness both great. It was challenging to find as Google maps took us a couple hundred meters away… not sure why. Called property and very nice person (Carmen) gave us direction but it was still challenging as her English was limited. We finally made it to the property but it was a bit unnerving in a very crowded area of Madrid. Our room was spacious but was on an upper floor with steep, narrow staircase to climb… felt like climbing up into a loft or treehouse. Lone window looked out at a blue roof tarp and other nearby windows. On booking, this property was advertised as being highly discounted… do not believe that. We likely paid what it was worth (125 euros per night) for our 3 night stay in Madrid.

Amazing location. Homey and romantic decorations. The window shades and bathroom door work well to block out light. The AC works well. They will store luggage for several hours before you check in and after you check out. For the price, it exceeded my expectations. If I return to Madrid, this hotel will be at the top of my list.

The front door is easy to miss because the sign is small. It's the black & glass door to the left of the souvenir shop. Press 4 on the door buzzer to speak with the receptionist.

Great location close to Plaza Mayor and many other great places to visit. Room was small and bathroom even smaller but it was clean and had tea/coffee facilities and a fridge. The bed was only a double size. The toilet is in a tiny alcove in the bathroom so a very tight squeeze. The shower was good but the hand basin is tiny so hard to wash your face without splashing everywhere. It was quiet considering its location but there was construction happening opposite so during the week it will be noisy during the day. We were there in a weekend luckily.

We managed but the toilet in our room could be a problem for bigger people over 90kg. It must be said sorry.

I think they turned the top floor of an apartment into a hotel. It does not have a large lobby or reception, but the room had the ideal size and comfy for me. It was an incredibly calm and quiet relaxing stay. I will come again. Note: if you have long legs, you can sit sideways on the toilet :)))

There is no big sign outside. I found it very difficult. Even though I called 3 times and said I couldn't find the hotel, proper directions were not given. I was very disappointed because the woman at the reception that day did not speak English. Unfortunately, since there was no answer, I was lost for a long time with the fear of being left with no.place to stay.Then somehow I randomly pressed a bell and went to the 4th floor and it was there. Thank God, I reached the hotel completely by luck and coincidence.

Central location. Great proximity to metro and Gran via! Clean rooms and friendly reception. All in all, worth a visit.

It’s not under control by the property but be prepared for noisy construction works in the neighborhood. On one evening, despite 24/7 reception availability, it was unfortunately not possible to convince the night receptionist to open the door for my fellow traveler who expected to be back very late at night when I would be sleeping already. He did also not hand out a second key to the front door.

Hostal Inn Madrid is a well organised and very well run "hostal". The location is fabulous - very central. The room was sufficiently ample (for a solo traveller), very comfortable and very clean. I was thrilled to have tea and coffee making provisions as many "hostales" which are within this price range lack such items. Communication with staff was easy as was check-in and check-out.

I have nothing negative to say about this hostal.

Accommodation is spotless and beautifully decorated. Close to the Plaza Major, Room bigger than expected, staff terrific and because they have a 24 hr desk we had no problem getting our room at 1,30am . Also reported problem with lock and came back to find a new lock installed

He'd difficulty finding the entrance when we arrived. Our user stayed within us until he had spoken to them and found the entrance . Would have preferred the towels changed daily

We received helpful information prior to our arrival and we were greeted warmly. The room was small and clean with a kettle, a fridge and even a small table and chairs. The location was very central, just off Gran Vía, which was super convenient if a tad noisy at times.We also benefited from the ability to store our luggage for a few hours without an additional fee. This place is great value for money and we would be happy to return.

The floor was a little tired but very clean. The space in the bathroom was tight but everything functioned well.

Location was perfect. Liked there was a kettle and fridge. For a solo traveller it was comfortable and had everything I needed. It was clean and Carmen, the staff, was very helpful and nice.

I wished there was a ramp for my luggage to enter the building and into the elevator. It weighed 22 kgs and I struggled to get it in.

Fabulous location. The accommodation exceeded our expectations for the money we paid. Had previously stayed in Madrid for 6 nights in a different hotel before travelling to Valencia. Booked this hotel on our return to Madrid as we just wanted somewhere central for 1 night before flying home early the following morning. With hindsight I wish we had booked this hotel for the original stay also as it offered similar facilities for less than half the price.
