Perfect location - it could hardly be better - just 100m away from Gran Via, few minutes walk through lovely shopping zone to Sol, within walking distance from everything interesting in central Madrid, between two metro stations. Friendly, helpful staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Value for money is ok for Madrid, first half of July, especially having in mind that our stay partially overlapped with Pride week. Due to sudden, unforeseen plumbing issues, room planned for us was not usable. Hence, they accommodated us in another room for two nights, while it was free. For the last night of our stay, hostal Regio, being fully booked, provide accommodation for us in another hostal in the same apartment building, which was fair and ok. Still, I have to say that we liked much more and felt much better in Hostal Regio than another one where we spent the last night, We would choose Hostal Regio again!

The room is too tiny for 3 beds, among which one extra-wide. It is proper size of twin/double bedroom. The main problem is that there is no space to open suitcases. There are just narrow corridors around/between beds. Bathroom is also teeny-weeny.

This hostel was better than hotels we've stayed in. The room was so nicely designed, had a TV with Netflix, our room was cleaned after our first night which we didn't expect and also to an exceptional standard, there were lots of good facilities like a hairdryer and good storage, good WiFi. The staff were so nice and helpful. Shower was good. Location amazing, less than a minute walk from main shops and a walk from major tourist attractions.

The place is located in the heart of Madrid in La Gran Via street. Very comfy and with convenient and fast access to buses, metro, etc. Beds could be a little bit more comfortable but its ok, I slept like a baby.

They should give guest more independency from the front desk. Keys must be left in front desk as you go outside the building for a walk or trip to the city. There is plenty of new technology to make access to the facility fun, safe, and private.

My room was small but clean and cozy. Stuff is very kind and helpful. Hostel is located close to many restaurants and close to the main street. 10 steps to the left from the hostel you find a restaurant Puerto Rico, the food is delicious and the prices are very good!

My room had no windows. For me it was not a problem at all since i had just to sleep there, but maybe for someone it is important , so it's good to know in advance.

Fantastic location, just off of Gran Via and a few minutes walk from Sol. The evening/night front desk person when I arrived was very friendly and helpful. Small but serviceable room for one night stay. Heating worked well on a cool winter night. The bed was comfortable. There is an elevator/lift in the building.

As others mentioned, the noise from the doorbell (that is used after the main door is closed for the evening) carries throughout the interior - I brought earplugs and slept fine with them in, but it would have been too loud without them. The water pressure in the shower was very, very low.

Hosts were very friendly, had great customer service and are very understanding!! Location is very central and the room had everything you needed, it was super clean! There wasn't a lot of English spoken but I had a work around with Google translate which worked like a treat.

You can hear everything that happens above you and next to you! There isn't a whole lot of noise cancellation. I'd suggest some ear plugs or something noise cancelling whilst you sleep.

The accommodation has a great location, very centric and close to the main stores at Gran Vía. The staff were kind and helpful. I could leave my suitcase until the check in time.

I was confused with the dynamic of “you need to leave your key when leaving during the day” then call every time you arrive to be allowed into the building. It might be just me but I felt a bit insecure about leaving my belongings and valuables and the giving the key to the receptionist.

The location is perfect—right at the corner with Gran Via. You can walk around the city center without the need to take the transport. The room was clean with spacious bathroom.

The room itself was very small but still a good deal price. for You have to wait for someone to open the door, but this is mostly not a problem as they are very fast.

The location is unbeatable! Is just 1 minute walk go the main street in Gran Via. There are a couple of metro stations very close to the hotel too.

The bed was hard and we were just given with a long pillow for a couple and was very thin.

Great location, extremely central, easy to find restaurant or places to have breakfast. Lots of good shopping nearby and a confortable walk to main museums. Great friendly staff available 24 hrs, could leave the luggage and pick it up much later the day of departure, The heating was working perfectly, and great shower. Internet service was fast. Of course it is not a very large room, but the place was great value for money.

Not a fault of the property, there was some construction in the street outside, however, it did not resulted in any noise for sleeping
