So central for the major art museums which were the purpose of my visit. Opposite the Botanic Gardens so always a feeling of greenness nearby. Close to metro, bus,train. Plenty of reasonably priced cafes and restaurants nearby. Very pleasant desk staff who gave good directions and travel advice. Very clean, in fact my room was freshened up every day. Good air conditioning. Basic room but a comfortable bed, desk, wardrobe and a very good bathroom with plenty of hot water and good pressure in shower. Well insulated against noise but it is on a busy street and I used ear plugs and an eye shield against the light. Would go back any time.

Some tea making facilities in the room would have been nice but not vital.

As a relatively budget hotel for Madrid this was surprisingly good. Reception were very helpful. The room was a good size and was reasonably comfortable. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. The large reception area downstairs was also good as a place to sit and read. There is a small cafe attached which offers a reasonable range of tapas, and where you can take breakfast - there is a menu rather than a buffet but the food was really nice and there was a good range of options. The location is excellent just down the road from the Prado and near transport connections.

I have no real complaints about the hotel, it's relatively cheap but perfectly fine.

The location was great, a couple blocks from the train station and across from the park and Prada museum. The staff was very kind, professional and helpful. The room was clean, adequate in size, bed a little soft but not at all uncomfortable. (I am not a large guy though). Breakfast was at the little coffee shop adjacent to the lobby where you go in and order a breakfast. Good, but not endless cups of coffee or tea. It was a great option for us as we were looking for something centrally located and reasonable in price.

It might have been nice to have a place in the lobby for hot water (coffee or tea). But there are lots of places nearby where you can go buy it if you want. This is probably more like they would do in this culture.

Room was very comfortable but AC at night was needed but was not available due to policies of hotel in April. A kettle and a dustbin needed in the room. Staff were very helpful. Madrid was the only city that the taxi from hotel to airport took what was promised 33 Euro’s. Very central location opp the Parado museum and bus from and to Gran Via number 001 is free. All tourist spots are either walking distance or 1.5 euros by bus.

Location was fantastic--walkable to so many museums, shops, restaurants, parks, and lovely neighborhoods. Staff was super nice/helpful/friendly. Soundproofing on the major street worked extremely well--absolutely essential for us. room was very clean, and space was pleasant.

I wished there were an in-house evening bar, but there are so many options right out the door--probably not worthwhile for the hotel to maintain. The public space downstairs feels a bit like a store-front waiting room, it would be nice to have a slightly more comfortable place to sit and read outside of the room, but still within the hotel.

The location is walkable with good restaurants and cafes around the corner. Our bathroom was large and we had a lovely view. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful, speaking English with us. Overall, we were very happy with this hotel and surroundings.

Bless their hearts, the tiny European elevators are tragic; it literally took 4 trips to get our family and luggage up to our rooms. The bed was just "ok" level of comfort. One of the cafe waiters was a bit rude (unlike the front desk staff and a friendly female waitress) and the cafe hours were not good for our schedule.

The location was excellent. I could walk everywhere to visit the sites. I didn’t need to use any taxis or public transport at all. The building is also clean and modern, and the facilities were comfortable.

The room was small but pleasing. I loved the full length windows and the views from the balcony. The bed was really comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised with the room - it was in much better condition than I expected. Good wardrobe space and a small desk. Location is great for Retiro Park and el Prado. Atocha station is close by too. The area is good - not full of tourists.

I was kept awake at night by some sort of vibration noise. I am not sure if the train passes beneath the hotel - it wasn't the traffic. I was in a rush to leave the next day so I did not ask. I was on the first floor and the room was cheap and perhaps this is the reason that it is cheap - the noise. I had been so delighted with the room that this kind of ruined the impression.

Excellent location, a few minutes walk from Prado, Reina Sofía and Thyssen museums, lots of bus stations around, and grabbing a taxi or uber was really easy. Everything was really good on the room and reception.

Breakfast in hotels usually have a buffet. In here was "a la carte", and you could only choose one of the dishes served, or just one sandwich, one sweet and one protein, which was too little for me. So this part was really crappy and I wouldn't give a better rating to the hotel because of this.

Location! Perfect location… conveniently located near bus stops, train stations, museums,important sites and great restaurants.

There are a little few things that would make this hotel a great place! (1)The lack of sockets (electric outlets) in the room to charge devices. There were none available by the beds, having to unplug the tv for my nephew to use; (2) The lack of a trash bin by the desk or bathroom; and (3) some tissues and hairs conditioner would be nice.
