Staff were fantastic and very welcoming! Lockers were good and secure (bring your own lock). Showers were clean and good water temp and pressure. There was not a lot of space to put your things but they have some hooks outside the shower. Location is easily walkable to everything, close to shopping street, bars, grocery, and transit.

The pods themselves were a bit stuffy. You do have a small fan; however, they get quite hot throughout the night and it’s hard to get a good nights sleep.

Urban inn is perfectly located in the center, near bus and metro stops. The place is very new and extremely clean,a lot of attention paid to the details in the rooms and shared spaces. The capsules are exactly as they look in the picture, and they are perfect for people who want to share an experience, more like an "indoor camping" vibe. Finally the receptionists Giulia and Baldo were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a try if you want a cheap but unique cool stay in the center of Madrid.

The capsule was bigger than I expected. It was comfortable and felt private once you close the door. The other people staying there was quiet and the capsule on top of us was empty so that probably helped our stay to be even better. When it's crowded and in the summer it may be a bit hot sleeping in the capsule.

Paying 3 euros for a lock. I think taking it as a deposit could be enough... The bathrooms smelled bad and it lacked a shelf or something to put your things on inside the shower

It’s basically capsule hotel, not even a hostel. So you have your own private space. Everyone seems to respect silence and other people’s comfort, no late night parties or anything, ‘cause seem a bit older than you would expect to meet in a hostel. The internet is very good and they let you work and make calls from the working zone so it’s a great option for business trips.

Can’t think of many downsides, really.

Not a complaint but would be great to have some hooks to hang things in the pods Offer FREE cheap flip flops and earplugs - a little $$ on your end gives a great experience to your guests. Clean showers more often, ensure drains are all functional, add better hair management and a place to put shampoo / soap while bathing.

Really clean and good facilities. Never too busy to use the washrooms. Quiet and respectful at night. Comfy and large pods definitely enough room for two people. Friendly staff always there to help. Amazing location.

Only problem is that the fan in the pods is loud at night but with some earbuds in it is fine. It also does get a bit hot but it is Madrid so 🤷‍♂️

The location is great and the staff were very friendly. I spent one night at "Habitación compartida cápsula doble". They have lockers and towels to rent. The shower and toilets were clean.

My bed was on top so I would appreciate having a stool or something to sit on or to put my stuff on while getting ready. Maybe some hangers for the coat too.

Very convenient location near Plaza de España. Very friendly place with clean comfortable beds. It is a 'pod' hotel and it was surprisingly quiet in the sleeping area.

It would be good to add a lock on the inside of the pods. It would be good to have some hooks for towel etc. inside the shower cabins.

The location was nice and central. There was a relaxed and classy atmosphere to the place and the staff were very helpful. I have stayed in plastic capsule hostels before and the Urban Inn's wooden design gave a much more pleasant feel.

No complaints, very clean, comfy, great location!

Making sure that other people did keep quiet during the night hours. Some of the toilet seats in the female shower room were broken but that's just a tiny thing.
