I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I must say, it truly stands out in terms of service excellence. The location is perfect, offering easy access to everything. The hotel is impeccably clean, and the attention to detail is second to none. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond without any effort. It’s clear that they care about providing the best possible experience for their guests. Congratulations on such a well-run establishment! I will definitely be returning in the future.

Our stay at this wonderful hotel in Madrid was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and grace, offered a drink and a lot of useful information. An early check-in was arranged effortlessly, and the level of attention throughout our visit was exceptional. The hotel is full of charm, tastefully decorated with fine artworks, elegant furniture, and beautiful floral details. Everything reflects a quiet sense of refinement. We were especially touched by the thoughtful gesture of the manager, Señor Julián Almaraz, who surprised us with a handwritten note and a bottle of sparkling wine in honour of our special occasion. The receptionist Antia was exceptionally kind and attentive, ensuring our comfort at every step. Arian, along with other members of staff, made us feel as though we were among old friends. Every question we had about the city was answered with patience and sincerity. Our suite was peaceful and elegantly arranged, with a beautiful view of Madrid. The hydro-massage bath was deeply relaxing after long walks. Complimentary toiletries and refreshments were luxurious and thoughtfully chosen. The room was cleaned twice a day, and each time we received a small gift. A foot massage cream, in particular, was both charming and effective. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was of the highest quality, and our final evening at the rooftop garden bar was the perfect farewell, made even more special by the service of a kind and attentive hostess. We were also gifted tickets to the Lázaro Galdiano Museum, a true jewel of classical art and design. This museum has a gift shop was one of the finest. We left with great affection for this beautiful hotel and look forward to returning. It shall always be our choice for staying in Madrid.

The only thing that I like of this hotel is its staffs excellence service. They are so attentive and gave you so many information. While I checked in the hotel, the front desk lady gave me a detailed introduction about the surrounding of the hotel and identified everything clearly on the map. Hotel also prepared take away breakfast for us because they knew we had a day tour on the second day and needed to leave early. The restaurant also remembered the coffee and breakfast that my family ordered even it’s only our second time having breakfast there.

The location is not convenient at all. It took us 40 minutes walk or 20 minutes taxi from the hotel to some central area like tour meet up point or others. The facility are a little bit old.

The staff were all lovely - very helpful and friendly. We received a room upgrade which was not expected but appreciated. The room was well appointed and a good size. We had a proper king sized bed, which was very nice and not that common in our travels. The rooftop terrace is lovely on a sunny afternoon. The lobby bar was also very nice. We drove to Madrid from Lisbon and the hotel was very easy to get to by car. We appreciated the valet parking.

The bathrooms could use an upgrade to eliminate the tub/shower combo - the tub is very deep which is nice if you want a soak, but a wee bit dangerous to get in/out of. The bed was too soft for our liking, but that's just a matter of preference.

The Relais & Châteaux Heritage Hotel in the Salamanca district of Madrid offers a charming and elegant stay with a delightful old-world chateau ambiance. Valet parking is a big plus for those driving, though the on-site bar could use a broader selection of snacks. Overall, it’s an ideal choice for those seeking charm, comfort, and a premium location in Madrid.

While the hotel exudes charm and provides excellent service, the WiFi was inconsistent during my visit, which may be a concern for business travelers. Prices are above average, but the experience largely justifies the cost.

Interior design, soft bed and mattress, great shower and bathtub, breakfast room service was fast and good. We had the set dinner for 4 with friends and it was excellent. Parking was convenient and staff were very helpful and friendly. The treatment of guests is very personal and of good quality. Nice desk in the room. Complementary wine was appreciated.

It was too short due to our own schedule! :) Breakfast was not included, compare to other similarly priced hotels. Lovely key chain but easy to forget to return considering most hotels have key cards now. Not much room for more than one suitcase. All minor things, happy to return!

Location is fantastic, close to the best shopping district in Madrid as well as very high quality restaurants and bars. While there is plenty of public transport available, walking is the best way to get around and experience Salamanca and the wider neighbourhood. Fantastic rooms are a very good size and elegantly decorated - extremely comfortable beds.

The roof terrace is a great amenity and a lovely atmosphere. However, the service can be patchy at times, not always staff available to serve guests, on Sunday afternoon I went to the terrace and waited for service but after 30mins I had to give up. It would be great if they could add a buzzer/intercom/phone to let the hotel know that there are guests looking for service.

This hotel was the best we have stayed in Madrid. The room was beautiful with every amenity you could ask for. It was luxurious! We loved the roof top bar. It was an oasis of quiet and tranquility. The bartender had a nice selection of local wines and made delicious drinks. The staff at the front desk was exceptional. They made the whole experience. They helped us plan our day and gave us good tips for restaurants. They were kind, patient and went above and beyond for us. The breakfast was excellent. The coffee was perfectly made. I really cannot say enough about the outstanding quality of this hotel. We will only stay here from now on, as we frequently visit Madrid.
