4* I recommend the hotel. This review is from a family perspective, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. This hotel is dated but well maintained and very very clean. Staff are very nice and extremely helpful. Pool was very clean and big enough. 30min from the airport €40 prebooked one way. What’s good Rooms are massive with a big balcony. Cleaned every day apart from Sundays. Pool towels replaced once a week. Very small soap and samples of shower gel and shampoo (not enough). Hairdryer included. Beds are comfortable in the bedroom only. Extra beds in the living room are very uncomfortable (you can feel springs) and kids were complaining every day. Kitchen is massive and well equipped with a big fridge/freezer. Pool is open between 8.00-18.30 and if you reserve sunbeds beforehand your towels will be collected by staff (fair enough). Restaurant is nearby within 1m walk from the pool and is closed in the evening. 2-4-1 cosbktails 11~12. Plenty of plants, whkat makes it look good. Jacuzzi is not heated. Couple of pools for kids and adults with a small and safe water slide. Small playing area for small kids and mini golf and tenis (booking required at the reception). Pool table €1 charge. Gaming room (2computers) and library. Slow WiFi everywhere. Food-> drinks are not included with your mains(you pay for everything). I was shocked that there was no water or juices available for free. Water €2 house red €18 bottle. Breakfast-> the same every day but I can’t complain. Free tea coffee and juices. Dinner-> nothing spectacular, basic. Sometimes meals were missing and definitely cold. Very weak entertainment (solo singer) no bar. A bus goes everyday to a beach. I was overcharged but this was fixed and money returned. Taxi available €8 to Dunas of Maspalomas. Aldi across the road, few shops and bars where you can eat a fantastic pizza (2large pizzas, 3 beers, 2 juices-€35). Theme park 15min walk (€13 kids, €16 adults was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).

A large, all-inclusive hotel with beautiful pools, a great atmosphere, and absolutely fantastic rooms—especially in the villas, which feature sun-drenched terraces and plenty of privacy. The location is excellent, and the pricing is fair for what’s offered. For guests who choose not to include lunch or dinner, there’s an ALDI conveniently located right across the road, and each unit has a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. Daily cleaning is provided (except on Sundays), and the Wi-Fi is outstanding—over 100 Mbps throughout the entire property. The food is decent—nothing gourmet, but it’s tasty and fits well within a budget-friendly offering. While the beach is a bit of a walk, the pools more than make up for it. And if the sea is calling, free shuttle service is available. And this is close to be a kids paradise place.

Sunbed management could use a little... intervention. Some guests seem to believe that tossing a towel onto a sunbed at 8 a.m. gives them squatters’ rights until sunset—despite vanishing for the entire day. The result? An artificial sunbed apocalypse at times. Also, a small note for the 21st century: let’s make the TVs smart. They deserve it. Guests deserve it too. Thanks!

We had a two bedroom apartment, which had two bathrooms, kitchen and a roof terrace. The apartment was huge, well equipped and comfortable (except sofa). The pool area is very beautiful and perfect for smaller children who do not like jumping into the pool. Food was average, but good enough for one week stay (drinks not included in dinner). Warmly recommended to families with small children. It is possible to cook yourself in the apartment's kitchen, if you prefer better food. Car is needed if you want to see the Island. Mountains are often cloudy, so check the weather in advance (eg. yr.no).

Hotel is beautiful and clean, room was one of the best with view to pool and outside of the hotel area.

Pool water should be a bit warmer, at least in the Jacuzzi area.

I really liked the variety of food the hotel offered – I strongly recommend including both breakfast and dinner in your booking, as there aren’t many good restaurants nearby. The property was also very clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Another big plus is that there’s a supermarket right next to the hotel, which is super convenient, especially when you need to grab essentials like a big gallon of water.

What I didn’t like is that the property is a bit far from the main attractions and interesting spots on the island. It’s located uphill, which makes walking a bit challenging, especially in the heat. For convenience, you’ll most likely need to take a taxi or a bus to get around.

We liked everything - the pools, the apartment, the food. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely time! We had an apartment in one of the villas. It was spacious and very clean. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was very good, with a lot of variety and some local dishes. We were having lunch at the pool bar which also has veey good menu. The pools are lovely and very clean. The beach is just 7 minutes away and there is a bus from the resort. There is not much entertainment and not many things to do around the resort. The area where the lighthouse is, is nice - 8 euro to go there by taxi.

Nothing

We had a beautiful, spacious apartment with a distant seaview. Great terrace. There are big swimming pools. The staff is super helpful and nothing is a problem. We have one baby but we needed another baby bed, no questions asked, we had it in minutes. Very fast if anything was needed. Changing the bedsheets or additional blankets. They installed the net on the balcony so that our little baby can play safely there. We bought the airport transfer- super comfy and on time with a new baby car seat. Very clean property with an amazing garden.

There is a theme park opposite and the music was loud at night so we had to sleep with a closed window. (Applies only to the villas on the left of the main building). The chairs could have felt underneath so that they don’t make so much noise when neighbours upstairs move them. Food in the restaurant was so so but we are very picky and went only once.

We loved everything about Palm Oasis! It’s easy to get around with a rental car from the location. Parking underneath was convenient and price per day was reasonable. Breakfast was good and also reasonably priced. Palm Oasis overall was super clean and well-maintained, may it be your room, the pool, restaurant, etc. Staff / employees were extremely kind and helpful. My partner and I already said we would stay here again when we come back to Gran Canaria.

The only things I noticed – when we first arrived, our room smelled strongly of cleaning products, but went away after we opened the windows the first evening. And… that some of the bathroom fixtures need to be replaced. Maybe some rooms have gotten renovated recently compared to others, but there was rust on the metal parts in the bathtub / faucet / soap holder / etc.

Perfect for a young family (or any sized family/couple/group of friends!) Beautiful hotel grounds, you feel like you're somewhere very exotic. Pool grounds are just beautiful and so well maintained and kept tidy throughout the day. Hotel inside is quite basic but clean and nice staff. Apartment was ideal for us to be able to make our own breakfast (Aldi across the road for your fresh bread/pastries/fruit) and I could make some lunch the odd day as you wouldn't really want to eat at the pool bar every day! Quiet at night time which was good for us, but there's a nice buzz around downstairs until 10pm at night. Cleaner was in every day to make beds, fresh towels, which we were really impressed by! We'll definitely be back.

Everything was lovely. Only improvements I would make is the hotel itself needs a little updating. The playground had some holes in the ground which needs filling as my little one was close to falling many times. Also saw screws coming out of some steps as you go up to the mini golf. Pool bar offers a decent daytime menu but the food could be a little better in quality! Cocktail sizes were also on the smaller size. Lovely staff though and very friendly esp towards my toddler. There isn't a huge amount to see in the area which is fine as you will want to spend most of your time at the hotel pool anyway, and it's only like 7 minutes down to Maspalomas beach/dunes etc

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We loved the pool area and the lush gardens. We were lucky enough to get one of the roof top terrace villas on the left hand side. Which meant for 8 nights we had incredible views of Maspalomas. There is a taxi rank literally outside, so don’t be put off by the location a little out of town, the views are worth it. Also a few bars and restaurants outside hotel. Hot spot areas such at the Yumbo centre and Lighthouse area cost 6 euros each way in a taxi. Also there is a newly built Aldi literally outside the complex. Entire complex was cleaned top to bottom each day and the gardens looked after very well. Underground parking available at 3 euro a day. All staff were polite and helpful. Never struggled to get a sun bed. Excellent value for money. We will come back here and recommend to friends and family.

Just a few points to make this stay even better but very minor suggestions would be - The pool was very cold to get into, even in 28 degrees boiling day it was freezing!! Potentially warm it up a bit? Especially in winter months. Bed a little hard but just our preference A few evenings there is entertainment but I feel like it’s not in the correct area as there is not really any seating to watch the live music, so perhaps the hotel should rethink where to hold live music.. Again these are not bad things just what I’d change as ideas.
