Very clean with shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. Pool towels are also provided. Great facilities to include; balacony with table and chairs, sun loungers with each apartment, water aerobics, live music by the pool, and live music at night. Breakfast was great, which included everything from fresh fruit to hot breakfast, pancakes, and cold meats and cheese. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It is a nice 20-minute walk to the lighthouse, restaurants, shops, and promenade. Would stay here again.

We loved our stay, great little apartments and sun loungers and amazing food . Couldn’t fault breakfast or the evening buffet we had once . Really good atmosphere - peace and quite with a pool bar for live music but didn’t go on till late so not over powering . Staff were Wonderfull.

The swimming pool could really have done with a clean while we stayed but it wasn’t horrendous and I still swam every day . It wouldn’t put me off booking again . The location is a little further out and probably 25 mins into the main area restaurants and beach front but we knew this on booking as enjoy pre and post meal walk- its flat and we felt safe bit its not in the Center .

We have been there so relaxed and happy. It is a quiet hotel, not overcrowded. The bungalows look very private and nice. I love their garden and sunbathe terrace. The food choices were exactly enough, not too much, and not too less. The personnel were friendly and very supportive from day 1 until the end. The location takes a walk to the promenade of Meloneras about 3 km, but after all, it is good for us to walk, not just lay down sunbathing. Some people rent a bike. Others rent a car. We did rent a car via hotel for 3 days. It was a good choice, so we discovered the mountains and beautiful picturesque villages (Tejeda, Fataga, San Bartolome de Tirajana, Teror, Lanzarote and so on). I didn't expect to see all the 4 time seasons on a tiny island like Gran Canaria. It gets 5 degrees Celsius in mountains, whereas the coastline is warm between 25-30 degrees Celsius under sunlight. Amazing astonishing nature with many hiking trails. The views on the way are breathtaking.

Beautiful little gem of a hotel, absolutely spotless clean ,very relaxing, very friendly staff really helpful, Food good plenty of choice, nice little gym for the basics. Bus service to the beach every day free. 5 munites on the bus 20 munites walk., We just wanted to relax and it was perfect, Down stairs front patio with sun lounges, outside bedroom on first floor small balcony table with two chairs, perfect. Pool area lovely plenty of very comfortable sun lounges. If you want to relax this is for you.

The fact we were only there for a Week

We liked Maspalomas/ Meloneras area from many perspectives, but about the hotel Los Calderones we especially liked the location in quiet area and being close enough to beach and restaurants to walk, hotel facilities and room in general, wide selection of options for breakfast, pool area, live music at the bar area every evening, BUT above all the nice and friendly and supportive personnel at the reception. Muchas gracias and we consider to return :)

Be aware of the road on the back and future development area in front of the hotel. Inside you do not see the construction area at all, so that's not a worry actually, but if you have room on the back, consider the traffic noise.

I would highly recommend this hotel, we have just came home after spending 8 days here. We really had a great time, the apartman was very clean, and comfortable, the area was so beautiful with all the different plants and flowers. We had everything in the room, we needed and it was really quiet all the time - great for relaxing. We also rented a car via the hotel as bus schedule was not really reliable, with the car everything was fine, it was easy to explore the island. Each member of the staff were helpful and nice. The accomodation is a bit further away from the beach, but the shuttle takes you there in only a few minutes.

Wifi could have worked better, mobile lost the connection lot of times, but it was not a big deal.

The staff was by far the best part of our stay. Super helpful, friendly, kind and most importantly always up for a chat and give recommendations about the island. The room was very spacious for 2 people and the housekeeper always made sure the room was nice and clean. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of items. The pool bar was really nice and a variety of drinks, snacks and ice creams. Overall 10/10 and we can’t wait to come back next year

I have mixed feelings. The hotel was spotless, the room spacious and lovely. Great shower and soft pillows. The breakfast was great. The pool and bar areas lovely with comfy sun beds and the staff were very friendly and helpful. But the area is strange and across a big road is a very noisy enormous hotel which keeps you from enjoying the tranquility at night. But that is not the fault of this hotel.

I just didn’t like the area. There’s nothing there really but it’s a twenty five minutes walk to Maspolomas beach and the hotel does provide a shuttle bus in the day but at night the few restaurants are not great

Lovely modern, clean hotel. Very relaxing, quiet atmosphere. Not a massive hotel which we liked. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. The location was nice. Loads within walking distance, or taxi rank literally outside to take you anywhere, reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Helpful staff, nice food and drinks. Small shop at reception for snacks if required.

Not much. Having to pay for the safe in you room ....in this day and age this should be a standard freebie / included

The staff was always helpful, especially the bar staff, who were always even anticipating my requests. They were really above expectations. Breakfast (included) was also really good.

It's the first time in a 4* hotel where I get asked for a deposit (€100,00), and the safe usage is paid extra (€2,00/day). Not very clear what was included and what was not. The bar, even if very well attended, was opened only after 12.00. No Amex cards were accepted, which made the check-in not very frictionless.
