Our recent visit to the Gold by Marina hotel in Playa del Ingles, Gran Canaria was an experience that surpassed all our expectations. This hotel deserves nothing less than a five-star review for the flawless services and amenities it offered during our stay. The location of the hotel is second to none. Nestled in the heart of Playa del Ingles, it is only a short, pleasant stroll away from the pristine beach and a diverse selection of restaurants. This made for a great variety of daytime and evening activities, satisfying the tastes of both beach-lovers and food connoisseurs. The hotel's pool area was one of our favorite spots. With a sizeable, sparkling clean pool and ample sunbeds, it was a haven for relaxation and sun-soaking. What truly elevated the experience was the indulgent jacuzzi. After a day of exploring, nothing beat coming back to unwind in the warm, bubbling water. The area never felt crowded, and we found it to be a perfect balance of social and tranquil. We stayed in a Junior Suite that truly felt like a home away from home. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. From the sleek modern design to the high-end furnishings, every detail seemed thoughtfully curated to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of the guests. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. However, what truly sets Gold by Marina apart is its excellent staff. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care added a personal touch to our experience, making our stay even more memorable. In conclusion, Gold by Marina offers a truly gold-standard experience – a mix of strategic location, impressive amenities, and exemplary service. I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone planning a trip to Playa del Ingles.

On arrival we was greeted by the reception staff, who offered us a glass of prosecco, which we felt was a good start to our holiday and from there on in everything got better. When we got to our room there was a bottle of red wine & a welcome card together with a jar of sweets. Also on valentines day, a bottle of fizz was left in our room. The pool bar & pool were excellent. Towels provided and plenty of beds available. Sax player at the pool was so nice to listen to. Also a dj playing tunes on another afternoon.. Couldn't fault this hotel. The decor and ambiance was lovely. The hotel staff were very pleasant..

A lovely hotel in a central but quiet location. Reception staff were super helpful. The room was comfortable and everywhere in the hotel immaculately clean. The pool facilities were great as was the pool bar and food. We will return .

The room was comfortable, though a little more space in the bathroom to allow a graceful egress would be preferred. The bed was spacious, though the mattress was a little on the soft side. We were spoiled for choice with the breakfast, and the facilities are wonderful. The location is fairly good, with ample amenities around.

My wife thinks that the boiled eggs should have been kept in the hot counter rather than being dolled out with the omelettes, fried eggs, and thus incurring an unnecessary wait time. A small complaint, but one that annoyed her.

We have just come back from an amazing week at this hotel. I have never stayed anywhere so clean, they're constantly cleaning the pool areas etc. The breakfast was amazing, and the food we ate at the pool bar was always fabulous! All the staff are really friendly and they go above and beyond. While we were there we enjoyed the Monday night managers meeting where there was live music, complimentary drinks and nibbles. The location is great, there's a supermarket next door and your about 5mins from the beach. We would 100% stay here again.

Excellent hotel in every respect and the staff are truly exceptional. The facilities are first rate and the tireless staff ensure their guests are completely satisfied. Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and the rooms are expertly designed with practical and thoughtful care & attention to every detail. This attention to detail extends throughout - especially around the pools and on the sun decks - it’s all so comfortable and spacious.

I can’t honestly think of anything I didn’t like.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean large and very comfortable rooms. Large pool and sheltered from the wind. Great buffet breakfast. Pool side bar and snacks. Good Jacuzzi and Sauna. They will try to provide a late check but if not possible will store you luggage in a lock room and provide you a room for 30mins to freshen up before leaving if late after noon. This was great for me as I left late afternoon and was able to enjoy the day by the pool, freshened up and headed to the airport. Other benefits its very central and easy to get to everywhere, CITA, Jumbo and beach are a 10min walk, short taxi ride is best to Maspalomas beach

Its not I didnt like more could be better if (1)Sauna was hotter, (2) pool side bar stayed open later. (3) the atrium area is a nice spot and one even there was a tapas and drinks evening arranged by the hotel, should try do more in that area.

Lovely staff, chilled vibe and we loved it. A different type of hotel to the others in the area. Many areas to sunbathe - some quiet and others with music. Breakfast was lovely and we would recommend the restaurant attached to the hotel - the best meal we had all holiday. Good location for the Yumbo centre and a short walk to the promenade to reach many other restaurants and bars and the Dunes. We stayed in 3 hotels on our trip and this was our favorite. Highly recommended.

Top hotel : the breakfast is superb, the staff are extremely kind and helpful at all times, the rooms are decorated with taste, the location is very good, close to the beach, supermarket next door, etc... Perfection comes at a cost of course, which is why I gave 9 and not 10.

As the hotel was probably fully booked, it was a bit crowded at breakfast but that did not mean there was anything missing, everything was replenished.

Super friendly staff. you can download an app and communicate with the hotel staff via chat. The staff usually responded within 30mins and the requests we asked for - one related to changing single bedding to a double bedding sheet - were attended to within the hour. Super great service. Also, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of Cava and a red bottle of wine was waiting for us in our room, it's these kinds of small gestures that made our stay very pleasant :)

There's not much to do in the area, mostly filled with other hotels and restaurants.
