Lovely room and comfortable bed overlooking the cathedral and harbour was fabulous. But in truth, you need to upgrade to a refurbished room or it’s all very outdated and that makes it a very expensive stay. The staff and breakfast was splendid and made it very nice. We upgraded to the Red Level package which was okay but the food offerings were poor.

Needs a lot more refurbishment.

Staff at the reception is not trained as per 5 star hotel standards. I was told that I got an upgrade but in reality I received a smaller room and lower category than I booked. Staff at the reception didn’t want to take any responsibility until I spoke to the manager on duty. The lady who did a mistake didn’t even apologise and was hiding from me the next day - shocking behaviour!

It takes about 25 minutes to walk into Palma, or a taxi is around 8 euros. In the heat the walk feels a lot longer and taxis are very busy in the evenings. Breakfast for fair, I’ve had better at 4 star hotels in terms of selection. There is an awful lot of pastries for breakfast, more variety of the fruits, yogurts and cereal would have been more appealing. We ate in the restaurant one evening as it was rated very highly, we were disappointed. We ate in Palma for half the price and the food at the hotel restaurant was just ok, not worth what was being charged. The pool area was nice and the restaurant at the pool area served nice food. The views from our hotel room were lovely of the harbour and the Cathedral. The room was nice.

Wonderful staff-all 14 days I spent there.Helpful,friendly,courteous.The huge outdoor terrace and dining rooms that look out over the harbor and the huge saltwater swimming pool -are the star attractions of this hotel. Taxis are a major problem during summer months in Mallorca,especially when 5 cruise ships unload 20,000 passengers several times a week.But this hotel had a system in place that made taxi availability simple and quick. Hotel interior is attractive.Exterior is a bit ugly. All the taxi drivers told me this hotel was the best in Palma.

Breakfast was acceptable but falls beneath 5-star standards.For example cheap,low quality cereals come in small airplane food -sized packages.They need to offer higher quality products for nutritionally conscious travelers. (I did appreciate the availability of soy milk,however).Restaurant staff was consistently cheerful. Great cappuccino. Air con in my room very weak,practically non-existent One of the advantages of this hotel is its position smack in the middle of the vibrant street life on the Promenade,aka "Paseo Maritime". Unfortunately the Paseo is all torn up due to major roadwork taking place-and most restaurants and cafes are shut down because of it.When it's finished in a year or two I'm sure it'll look even better than before.

Distance from the town and the roadworks outside. I hadn't realised how loud they would be and obstructive . Not the hotels fault. I just would have preferred to know when making a. Decision to book

Hotel Victoria Gran Meliá is a truly elegant and luxurious hotel offering classic charm and outstanding service. My room was beautifully furnished, spacious, and had a balcony with breathtaking views over the marina and Palma Bay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every detail was perfectly maintained. The staff were warm, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Breakfast was superb — fresh, varied, and served in a refined setting. The location is excellent, close to the city center and the waterfront promenade. A perfect blend of tradition and modern comfort — I would love to return!

The hotel is around a 20-30 min walk to the old town, but it is a very splendid hotel, the staff were friendly and very accommodating, nothing was a boher for them, the rooms were spacious with great views of the harbour from our balcony, little attention to detail like bed turning and chocs on pillows, water replenishment and large size toilettries were all greatly appreciated. The magnificant terrace with outside bar was superb for early evenign drinsk, soaking in the final rays of the sun. Lovely pool area and bar as well, nothing to complains about at all :-)

If you like to be smack bang in the old town, this may not be for you.

We had a lovely room with a cozy doublebed. They cleaned the room more times a day, left us chocolate on the bed, etc. The staff was lovely. The restaurant has great views to the port and Palma. They had allergens marked at the breakfast selection and made sure I can have something dairy-free. The sights area easily available by car as the hotel is in the outskirts of Palma so you do not have to go through the traffic of the city each time. However, if you want to go to Palma, there is a bus that stops 50 meters from the hotel taking you right to the city center.

Parking is at a charge in the hotel's garage and at evening hours there is sometimes no available spot to park in the neighbouring streets.

Fantastic terrace for breakfast and also dinner. Dinner with live musician was fantastic. Also violinist for Sunday breakfast - really enjoyed. Red lounge was great and welcoming . Guys at valet/ front desk couldn’t be more helpful in all aspects. 👏👏 Breakfast itself was awesome - such a choice. Swimming pool And surrounds has been upgraded and absolutely first class .

Gym was below hotel of this standing. Range and equipment below standard. Nice towels, water and yoga mats .

Perfect location, excellent staff

Don’t like changes to Red Level facilities. Used to be lovely bar area with good drinks and snacks set#up. Now confined to odd room off restaurant with only one sofa and tables and chairs. No place to relax and enjoy a drink . Also disappointed pool area being revamped for season. No access but looks like that’s going to be mainly tables and chairs too with reduced sunbathing areas
