We returned to this hotel after enjoying a previous visit several years ago. Sergio at the front desk was so helpful at check in! We loved the view from our sea view room. Breakfast was excellent other than the coffee, which was from a self serve machine. We would have preferred barista quality coffee. Otherwise the staff were excellent and the buffet selection was fantastic! Paola was lovely, cooking various eggs to order and whizzing round topping up!

The construction out front to build a tramline did not cause us much inconvenience. It wasn’t great, but it wouldn’t put us off from staying.

Had a lovely, peaceful trip - thank you! Clean. Views were lovely. It was quiet. Room was modern. Receptionists were lovely, happy and helpful. Amazing area.

(This is nothing to do with the property - Hotel Costa Azul - more a heads up of the local area). Do not go to the local ‘mini markets/small shops nearby’. The prices are extortionate compared to the big supermarkets. Visit the likes of Eroski for snacks etc. Me and my girlfriend bought 4 local waters, 1 pack of m and ms and a kinder bueno that cost €14+ haha! Crazy! We went to the large supermarket a few days later and this cost €5.

The location is amazing! The district Santa Catalina is less than 10 mins by foot where you can find superb restaurants and bars. A walk to the center (towards the Cathedral) is about 15 mins on foot along the beautiful promenade. The room was cleaned and tidied during the day while we were out - highly appreciate that! The staff is friendly and the facilities are great (pool, jacuzzi, terrace, restaurant).

Room and pool cleaning could be done better. It wasn't horrible, but it should be done better :) The room we had was quite small, but alright for our 2-night stay without big luggage. I would not recommend it to someone coming with large luggage.

Great stay, very clean room, quite small but nice one. The staff was great and very friendly, willing to help. Cleaning service was excellent, they come and clean the room everyday without any excuse. You will have also tea and coffee refill everyday and canned water with magnesium in the fridge as a welcome free drinks in the fridge on your arrival. The spa service is very nice, they have jacuzzi and pool that you can use for free and there is also a restaurant and drinks bar. Sauna is 10EUR additional charge but it's private one and you have to book it 1h in advance. Fitness center is also free of charge and has a great sea view :)

Overall the whole experience was great, there were only minor things as some noise from our neighbours during late hours, but they were attentioned by the receptionist. Also there were some technical issues while using the sauna but they tried to fix it as soon as possible. During winter time there is also construction work around the port area so this can cause some noise early in the morning but this was not property's issue.

The room was well sized and had all amenities we needed. The beds were very comfortable and choice of pillows was a really nice touch. Bathroom was big with a good shower. Pool area is pleasant and the bar was good too. Walking distance to Palma and close to Santa Catalina neighbourhood which was a really fun area with earthy cafes and great restaurants.

Breakfast is expensive and it didn't seem popular, perhaps another option to get coffee and a pastry in the morning would be good for those guests who do not want a full breakfast but would pay for a coffee and light snack.

The location right at the waterfront offers a beautiful view of the marina, and the city center is easily reachable on foot. Another big plus is the proximity to many restaurants. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable. Due to limited opening hours and our short stay, we couldn’t use the pool or gym, but we did check out the pool area. From the terrace, we had a great view of the Mallorca Half Marathon – an unexpected highlight! Watching the race with the marina in the background was a unique experience. A special mention to the reception staff – incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely come back to Hotel Costa Azul!

Really nice and helpful personel. Our trip was in december, therefore there were not many people staying in the hotel. Tidy, cozy and complete rooms.

After checking in, one part of the window was broken, and wind was coming through. That night there were wind alerts all over the island so it definitely must have made a bigger impact on the broken part as well. We went to the reception, a maintenence guy came over, who didn't speak english. Fortunately I was able to communicate with him in Spanish, but to others it might have been some bad experience. The maintanence guy was really nice and good to talk with and ofcourse professional. After some time, we went to the reception and they upgraded the room for us. This whole situation was clearly not intentional and mother nature have impacted on that as well, but it was handled really well by the hotel's staff.

This hotel is a great location, I had a sea view room and could see out onto the paseo maritimo and the yachts, there is construction going on at the moment until 2026, it is noisy but the hotel room had double doors to block out any noise. We slept really well and could walk easily to the main bus station in Santa Catalina. the breakfast was good, the staff friendly.

The pool is freezing even though it is indoor, and the hot tub is very small - there is a sign saying one person at a time in it only, and not very hot.

I arrived in the morning before lunch, staff were very helpfull, early check in was without any problems and extra fee. Hotel and room were clean. Breakfast was tasty, plenty of choice, included local meal. Hotel is close to the sea with a marina (no beach), in a walking distance to the city center and several bus stop. Bus stop to the ariport is in a walking distance too (aprox 10-15 minutes). Room with a sea view was amazing, but be carefull during summer months - the third floor sea view rooms are at the level of the pool and sunbathing terrace - it could disturb during season when someone wants to relax in the room during the day or in the evening. There is shops and restaurant in the neighborhood

Rooms don’t have any sound isolation, out of season it wasn’t a big problem but I can’t imagine it during season when hotel is full of guests. The door to the room could only be locked by slamming it, which was loud and was heard a lot in neighboring rooms. I missed bigger cup for tea during breakfast, only a small cups for coffee were there

Perfect location - being only a 20 minute stroll to the old town and overlooking the marina. The rooms were a good size and very clean. The shower was also nice and powerful. It was reasonably priced too compared to other hotels we considered in the area. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

The rooftop pool was indoors which was a bit of a shame, but the only real issue we had was that my friend is allergic to nuts and we told the waiter this, even asking him to check about the pesto dressing (which often contains pine nuts) on the buffalo and mozerella salad, he reassured us it was nut free, my friend tried a very small amount of the dressing and had a reaction with her lip swelling - unfortunately the waiter was not apologetic at all and the way he dealt with the issue was a shame. The menu generally did not have all allergens marked out so would say to be careful of this.
