Everything. This place is a 10/10. Seriously my friends and I did not expect it to be so good. It is 5 minutes walk to the center, you can find parking around (keep in mind its May so maybe in the summer it will be more difficult), everything inside is perfectly clean and smells good. Washer is 4€ and dryer is 3€, they give you back 3€ for the towel, breakfast is included and is exceptional with coffee and at least 5 other drinks. Bathrooms are spotless and always a bucket with clean water to wipe floors after shower. Common area is comfortable like my own living room. I have 0 complaints it felt like a hotel.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, breakfast was really good. The night receptionist from Argentina was amazing—he helped us a lot with tips on where to go and what to see.

What I didn’t like was the situation with the deposit. The tall receptionist with a butterfly tattoo on his neck told us we wouldn’t get our deposit back unless we took the bed sheets to the laundry ourselves. That was never mentioned at check-in, and frankly, that’s not the guest’s responsibility. I was short on time but had to come back just to do that. It was inconvenient and unprofessional.

1) - The hostel serves free BREAKFAST daily. ( a very generous buffet one) ، which surprisingly NOT mentioned on booking .com !!!!! But that gives the Urban hostel a very unique plus ; being THE ONLY hostel in Palma that has breakfast . 2) - .Also, the ensuite shower + toilet in my dorm ( 8 bed ) was NOT clear on booking ! + the shared 4 on same floor making this issue very convenient. 3 ) - This hostel has a historical ambiance:; being a formal convent in old days & still has the old BELL + CROSS on its top , adds to its sharm !! 4)- The marvelous view of a beautiful Gothic church & garden( that you can see from common room or stairs ) adds peace to the place. 5) - Lift . 6)- SPOtLESSLY clean + lockers + bed light in a Spacious dorm & curtens on each bed. 7 ) - Balcony in my dorm ( though it is constantly closed ). 8)- Very cooperative attentive staff ( especially : argentinian Andres , french Mehdy & Veronika . 9) - Location : in residential area " Santa Catalina " very convenient, safe & close to public & airport bus ( just around the corner ). 10) - Great fully equipped kitchen & free tea & coffee all day.

1.- lift ( though modern ) but was super slow. 2- Wish the view of" the next neighbors wall "can be repainted ( the view from balcony ).. 3- the 20 minutes walk to reach center. 4- The plastic cover of mattresses can make problem to those allergic to synthetic fibers ( though linen was 100% cotton ).

This was an extremely charming , comfortable. The receptionist Mr. Andres was extremely helpful and welcoming. He went out of his way to be extremely kind to a very weary traveller. Would highly recommend a stay here. On top of all first class hotel receptionist, Mr. Andres. He made me feel that my experience at the hotel was personally important to him and he deserves most of the credit. The breakfast was really good as well and the public areas are relaxing and serviced by an attentive team of staff. Thanks

the staff is very friendly, there's breakfast and a kitchen which you can use. you can also store your luggage if you arrive before the check-in. the cleaning lady was cleaning every morning. maybe it was the fact that it was off-season but the rooms and bathrooms were clean, and even though I was in a 16-bed dorm, I didn't feel that it was dirty/smelly/noisy. of course, that's also luck because it depends on the people you're with.

often you'd go to the reception and there would be no one there, even though it was opening times. it's hard to find the people working there if you need them.

Everything is arranged in a smart way. One could see that the people running this place have done some brainstorming and thought about the comfort of their guests. Thanks, very well done!

Breakfast is from 8:30, which is a bit late for many people, there should be some simple replacement option for those who need to leave earlier. And even if they don't not everybody is going to bed after 2 am. Or was that only that day because it was Sunday? I am not sure. Appreciate a friendly response of the staff to adjust centrally controlled air-conditioning to a different temperature on my request, but these things should really be operable from the room. At least to turn off and on. Somebody just keeps the window open, and if it tries to cool the whole Palma to 20 degrees, that is probably not the most energy-friendly approach.

the breakfast was free, that was a nice touch to a pleasant stay. You have to clean after you eat (which is the nice and right thing to do anyways). The lady that restocks the kitchen in case something runs out is very sweet and helpful. All in all it was a surprisingly good hostel (we all have heard the horror stories of bad hostels, this is far from it) and perfect for students in budget and solo travelers as it is very safe (there is a digital lock in every door that can be opened only with a unique passcode that they give you in the reception).

Nothing sticks out as negative. It was a pleasant stay.Highy reccomend it if you want something valuable for the price and the accomodation.

Nice surprice with the breakfast buffet! Wide choise of selection and the coffe was great! Everything was really clean!! Comfortable beds! Near to busses into city center. A lots of thanks to the kind and serviceminded personnell! They took time to give us advice, check bus times etc. Really appreciate their help! Would recommend this hostel for everyone! Nice park just outside and supermarkets and restaurants just around the corner.

I am really pleased to have had the chance to have gluten free options for breakfast, also having breakfast included was really nice as well as having the hostel close to a nice area. The receptionist who checked me in was really nice and helpful for any clarification.

The cleaning was sufficient, both of the room, and bathrooms and showers but being shared by a whole floor is possible that despite being well cleaned guests dirty immediately.

The showers and the bathroom were clean. I liked the room and the balcony. The mattres had a moisture cover to protect the mattres, which is good I guess, but because of it the mattres wasn't breathing at all. Which meant a lot of sweating. The beds had a privacy cover which was great! The possibility to lock your cabinet was nice, so remember to take your own lock with you!
