Location location location

Nothing it ticked all the boxes for me.

The location of the hotel was great. The room was very good with a superking size bed. Cleaned every day and the cleaning staff were go friendly and good workers. All the staff we saw in hotel were great with the exception of Irene on reception. She was go helpful in every way. Thanks again Irene.

While there was a great selection of food for breakfast, the eggs were usually cold. A lot of the fruit was tinned and I would have expected fresh strawberries, pears etc.

I loved the location, the breakfast options and dining hall. The variety of sunbeds and the option to be able to join the Mediterrian Palace through the tunnel. Staff was lovely and room is really nice and clean with a big bed and cleaning service was solid. Everything is in walking distance. If you are looking for a nice relaxation at the Americas then this is the spot.

A charge for 2 cups in the room, I’ve been to hundreds of different hotels, more than 50 in Tenerife, 12 in Africa, 20 in Italy, France, Croatia, Caribbean, Spain, Majorca, Malta, etc etc etc it’s the first time I have been charged for tea/coffee making facilities in 45 years of travel

Location primarily. Sea view room on third floor. Attentive staff. Great facilities.

A little dated. Only two sockets in room and one of them stopped working. We had been using an extension lead and this seemed to have overloaded the socket even though we were only powering phones.

Location is great, right near shops and restaurants and on the beach front. We will be back!

It's not so much a didn't like, more an oddity; they provided a kettle in the room, but no cups or tea and coffee. Lack of tea and coffee making facilities is common in European hotels, but it was strange to just provide a kettle. We brought our own coffee, but no cups. The second day, we took some from the restaurant and they were left in the room for the remainder of our stay. So, that was fine. Another oddity was that the restaurant only does an evening buffet. But, we couldn't see anywhere what was on the buffet that evening; or what it cost, if you hadn't already booked it as part of your room.

The property looks beautiful from the outside and the inside looks very impressive with huge chandeliers, a black and white chequered floor and a very elaborate stone staircase. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The location of this hotel cannot be beaten as it is literally on the beach on one side and a decent shopping street full of restaurants on the other side. The Reception staff were very helpful when checking in. The buffet breakfast had a huge choice of hot and cold and lots of seating space. The staff cleared away the plates efficiently so no one had to wait for a table. We didn’t use the pool but it looked wonderful. We could take the beach towels down to the beach. The hotel provided slippers and dressing gowns.

There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There is room service but as the hotel is huge, ordering food/beverages risk arriving luke warm ! When booking I had requested a room with a sea view which we were given, but unfortunately the palm trees block most of the sea view (a first-world problem !). The breakfast area is huge and very echoey so when the pianist played (or sang in the evening) it sounds a bit distorted which is a pity.

The hotel was very clean lovely welcome on arrival a glass of prosceco was offered to us which was a nice touch.. The staff were very professional and friendly. There was a large choice at breakfast. Location you couldn't ask for better while being at the heart of everything there was no noice in the hotel.

The rooms are a little outdated with scratch marks on the furniture the bathroom lock had been broken and not replaced. The baths are very slippery when using the shower over the bath we had to put a towel to stand on ir there could have been a nasty accident.

The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had. So much choice. The pool area was lovely. No one was getting up at 7am hogging sun loungers. The pool area was kept clean. You can get food and drinks served directly to your sun lounger. The staff however were by far the best part. Everyone of them so kind and helpful. No request was too much. We loved our stay ❤️

The rooms need updating. One of our drawers was broken and the glass door onto the balcony could not be locked. We checked with another couple and their door could be locked so ours was definitely broken. However the hotel management are aware of this and according to their replies to other comments on booking.com the rooms are due to be renovated shortly 🤞

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were given a very nice welcome. The hotel has a very elegant design in the style of antiquity. The location of the hotel is perfect, right between the white sandy beach and the main shopping mile. It offers many rooms with fantastic sea views. We also really enjoyed the breakfast.

There was no kettle or coffee machine in the room. There was no toilet brush in the bathroom and the soap was really not good. The rooms are noticeably outdated, with partly scratched old furniture and door handles and an outdated small TV.
