We got a last minute extremely cheap deal. So didn't expect much bit it surpassed our expectations in terms of location and customer service. It's a dated property and could do with a freshen up. The little pool was a good find on site. Would suit couples. We had everything we needed.

We couldn't believe how infested with cock roaches it was. I have been to the island many times. These bugs were everywhere in the property. My husband had to pull all appliances out. Give a good clean. Lay down treatment, etc. Despite intensive attempts to get rid, they just kept coming back in big numbers. I couldn't stay again unless they fumigated the place and deal with this big problem. ..

I spent most of my holiday at another resort but a late flight meant I had a long wait after a noon checkout. The weather was very hot so for the first time I thought I'd book into another hotel/resort for a few hours. I booked a one night stay at Club Pocillos through booking.com, although I knew it would only be for a few hours. Club Pocillos were quickly in touch about my arrival. I arrived early and they were waiting for me. The apartment was excellent, across the road from the beach. I would use Club Pocillos again for a longer holiday.

Liked the position/views of the apartment - directly facing sea front. One bedroom was ideal with a sea view ..... the back bedroom was a little dark with no view. We hardly used the kitchen area except for using the kettle most mornings. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We found it reasonably priced for the 6 nights we were there.

There was nothing 'we didn't like.' We did feel the accommodation required a little 'updating/modernising,' (particularly the kitchen area) but overall we had a nice stay.

the apartments are just opposite the beach and are in the quiet area of Puerto Del Carmen, but if you're looking to go somewhere a bit more lovely then you're about a 25 minute walk away from the all the shops, bars and restaurants or its only 3 euros in a taxi. there is also a nicer beach in that area too where you can get a sun lounger. The apartments are vedy big and they have everything you need in them. the staff are very friendly. it definitely does need doing up as it is a bit run down and a bit shoddy. I was only there for 4 days so it did me fine. we didn't have our room made up or have our towels replenished during our 4 days there.

never had our room made up and had to ask for more towels, kept finding bugs in the room too.

the chap managing the property has been one of the friendliest and most helpful people I've ever met on holiday. the first thing he did after checkin was let me know where to go for food, a drink or to get bits and bobs. he even bumped into me in the morning and recommended a coffee spot. once I was sat enjoying my coffee he popped in himself and said hello again. couldn't fault him at all. The rooms were tidy and well maintained and there is a (small) pool if you fancy a quick dip.

my only criticism is there wasn't that little bottle of shampoo you sometimes find in a hotel. normally wouldn't mind but as I'm travelling light I didn't bring anything, but nothing a quick visit to the local shop didn't sort.

the location is absolutely perfect, and the sea views amazing. The staff were super helpful and friendly. It was close to supermarket for self-catering and lots of great places to eat in either direction along the beach front. Easy access to buses. Swimming pool was lovely and sheltered, and very clean. The apartment we had was very clean, light and airy, with huge windows. It was a bit dated inside BUT was due for a refit literally as we left. I think we only managed to book it because we needed two days at the end of stay. Will definitely be booking again for a much longer stay next year. Wifi was good.

One bed was very creaky, but again, apartment was due for refit. Larger pool whilst very clean was very cold.

We booked this room for the last night of our stay as Ryanair changed our flights. The check I'm process was so simple and we were greeted by an extremely helpful gentleman on reception. He informed us that we would be staying in loft room 22. I can honestly say this is the best room I have ever stayed in. In regards to views. It's only a pity we couldn't have stayed longer. I would highly recommend and for a price of £58 for the night was truly amazing. Would deffo book here for a full 2 weeks if we could get the same room or similar. Location is great too. Half way between matagorda and playa del Carmen . Of you don't feel like walking you are right outside bus stops too. Overall a brilliant stay.

Great Location. We arrived in the evening and keys were left available for us. Apartment is on the seafront with beautiful view of the beach. Just a short walk to the local shop, restaurants bars etc. It was lovely and quiet especially at night. Air conditioning and safe were a small fee extra for the week but well worth it. Deposit refunded when checking out. Great location for taking a walk either on the beach or prom. Taxi rank outside and available to pick up at the apartment if needed.

The beds were most uncomfortable. So hard. The couch needs replacing. Slats were broken and had a sheet of chipboard covering the slats. Again very uncomfortable and very noisy. The bin in the kitchen had not been emptied so had to take it out to the bin on arrival. The bath to shower change over was broken but with a little diy we got it to shower. Also needs maintenance.

The people at the reception are very friendly and professional. We liked the apartment with seaview the best. Restaurants, shops, pharmacy and supermarket close by. Within walking distant of the beach (across the street) and walking distant of playa Matagorda with clean beach and many shops and restaurant. We recommend this accommodation because of its location between Matagorda and Puerto del Carmen.

It seems that a few of the apartments are privately owned. We used this accommodation a few times already and there's a big difference in the facilities in the apartments. Kitchen appliances, furniture and beds can be different.

Excellent location, handy for all facilities and bus routes, thirty seconds walk to the beach, supermarket, bars/restaurants very handy. Excellent staff, very helpful. Excellent check in/check out service, (we were able to leave our cases with them on the last day which isn't always the case with apartments, they also called a taxi to the airport for us) Very clean, and cleaners came twice during the week also. Furniture and fixtures were possibly a bit retro but everything worked and we were comfortable. WiFi was a bit temperamental but generally worked, always could find a place where the strength was good. Good terrace, sun pretty much all day, but shade always available in corner or another. There is a pool but I didn't use it as the sea was so close. Will very probably return either in the autumn or next winter.
