This was a 4-day break, joining my daughter who was on holiday in Santa Ponsa staying in another hotel. The hotel was absolutely ideal. Small, quiet, metered parking (free on Saturday and Sunday) on the street outside or nearby, and short walk from my daughter’s hotel. The hotel is run by a charming couple, their son and a border collie. They were extremely friendly and helpful and one or the other was on hand throughout the day and night. Other than to sleep (and have a G&T one early evening) I didn’t use any of the hotel’s facilities. There is a swimming pool at the rear and a bar offering drinks and snacks throughout the day which seems to be a popular place for some local British residents. The hotel’s restaurant with inside and exterior terrace seating offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. My first floor single room with a balcony had everything I needed and was, to my surprise, cleaned and tidied every day. The only drawback, which I knew about beforehand, was the lack of air conditioning. However, there was a large powerful desk fan which was the next best thing. Value for money? Santa Ponsa hotels and apartments are certainly not cheap in July and Hotel Golf Beach offered me the best deal I could find. Very happy with my stay.

Everything was perfect! The room was very budget-friendly, and the price was amazing compared to similar hotels. The location is excellent – the beach is just a short walk away, there are plenty of cafés nearby, and a bus stop with connections in all directions is just a couple of minutes away. We had a room with a balcony – everything was clean, the bedding was snow-white, and the mattress was super comfortable. The room cleaning was excellent – special thanks to the housekeeping lady for that. I want to specifically mention the entire staff – they were all incredibly friendly and attentive. The hotel truly has a soul.

Situated well with 5 min walk from main strip. Food and drinks are fantastic and reasonably priced. Staff are very helpful and have a lot of character which creates a sense of community at this hotel. The pool is rarely full so it can be enjoyed in peace.

This hotel takes Balearic anti boozing/booze tourism laws very seriously. For this reason I would not recommend this hotel for a lads/ladies partying holiday. better recommended for families/couples or otherwise quiet folks who enjoy peace and quiet rather than party. You must take care to behave yourself at this hotel.

This hotel is a little gem.. of all the times we’ve visited Santa ponsa it was our 1st time staying here, great location, basic but clean, shower was amazing, staff were lovely couldn’t do enough for us! The food was brilliant, great value for money aswell, pool was just what we needed, music around pool during day! Everyone we met staying there were lovely. Would defo go back

The only downside of here was the no air conditioning in the rooms, the hotel does provide 2 plug in fans and an over head fan, was so warm when we were there! With someone with naturally curly hair trying to keep it straight I woke up every morning a mix between Tina turner and worzel gumage lol defo take curly hair products if you have hair like mine

The hotel was only a 5/10 minute walk from bars and restaurants. Great facilities in the hotel, the food is lovely, and the rooms were great and spacious. We cannot fault the staff at all, they were all so welcoming, hardworking and friendly during our stay and could not do enough to help us during our visit. This was our third time visiting Santa Ponsa and we will definitely be returning to this hotel it was fantastic value for money. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thankyou again for a lovely holiday.

Nothing, we really enjoyed our stay

The staff here are amazing and will make you feel at home. They have a very positive energy and are very helpful if you need anything. The pool area is really nice and relaxing, great sunbeds, great pool, not too busy and the cocktails are superb (especially the mango and strawberry daiquiri). Nice and spacious room that is clean and the bed is really comfortable! Loved staying here, the location is great if you want to be close to the beach and nightlife but don't want to be right amongst it and hearing it. We are a couple in our 20's who really loved staying here. It was better than we imagined and we thank all the staff for making our first holiday together lovely. Will see you again in the future!

We didn’t expect much as only a 2star but the couple that run the hotel went above and beyond with the catering to helping us if needed anything to just interacted with the customers the rooms didn’t have air con that was the only down side The hotel was spotless the pool was lovely lots of beds and umbrellas The cleaning staff where great if you needed anything they where there to help I would highly recommend

The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel and pool are spotlessly clean, the location is perfect as it's central and close to the bus stops for Palma and the airport. Close to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. Stayed 4 nights and had fresh towels midway through.

No complaints. No air con isn't ideal but we were provided with fans in the room and there was an option to hire an air con unit. Not a deal breaker for us.

The whole experience was most pleasurable. From the moment we walked in and were met by Agnes, to the minute we left in a taxi (that the staff arranged). The hotel was very clean and well staffed and nothing was too much of a problem. We used the pool everyday which was cleaned daily. Food was of a good quality and suited out needs perfectly. We met people who were repeat customers and would definitely look here before booking elsewhere in Santa Ponsa Many thanks to the team at Golf Beach👍

The fact that we had to come home

Majority of staff excellent Food well priced and really nice. Chose to eat at the hotel more than usual

Night Porter was abrupt and forced us to sign paperwork before allowing us to room. The paperwork should be explained on check in and signed then. He spoke very little English and was very aggressive.
