Olly is phenomenal! He was willing to give us tailored recommendations and simply went above and beyond with making the most out of our stay in mallorca! It’s also a five minute walk from the beach which is fantastic! Not a huge party part of town but it’s easy to just uber to the other side of the island and there a few food bars and restaurants around where you can get the most out of your stay. If we go back we would definitely stay there again!

Nothing really! Just know you’re not really on the party side of the island (outside of the German tourists lol) so if you stay here know you will have to travel to more central Magaluf for night life.

We booked two triple rooms, both of which were very spacious and had huge terraces! There's a shared kitchen with fridges, plates, cups, and everything you need, as well as a common area with tables, a billiard table, and more. The hostel provides beach towels, free sun umbrellas, and even complimentary sun lotion! The staff were very friendly and helpful—especially the owner, who kindly arranged a late-night transfer for us. Many thanks to him! The location is excellent—close to the beach, restaurants, shops, and everything you might need. For a hostel, it truly exceeded our expectations. We definitely recommend it!

Very highly recommended Hostal. I start to say that our welcome from Olly it was one of the most warm I ever received. Olly is an exceptional person, helpful and kind. Immediately gave us directions on the best beaches to visit, advice on where to eat and areas to avoid. He is very kind, smiling and especially available at any time, solves all problems and is available on any request or information. As for the structure, it is located in a central area of Arenal, with the promenade and beaches at 3 min walk. There are many shops nearby, supermarkets, pharmacies, souvenir shops and many other things. Recommend this structure to anyone, both for its location and especially for the host who will become your reference figure in your trip.

The hotel manager is very nice, accommodating, and extremely helpful when it comes to assisting guests. He gave us great tips on where to go and what to do in the area. The hostel is one of the most affordable in the area and is just a 5-minute walk to the beach. What really stood out was the kindness of the staff. Even though check-out is at 11:00 AM, they kindly allowed us to leave our bags and use the toilet since our flight was scheduled for late at night. This made it much easier for my family to enjoy the beach without carrying all our luggage. Highly recommended!

We had a pleasant experience at Hostal Atlanta, especially thanks to the owner, Olly. He was consistently friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. He offered great sightseeing tips, helped us arrange an early morning taxi, and ensured our rooms were next to each other. It was also super convenient to reach him via WhatsApp. While the hostal is simple, Olly’s easy-going nature and support really enhanced our stay. For the price, it offers good value if you know what to expect.

Hostal Atlanta is a basic 1-star accommodation, so it’s good to set expectations accordingly. During our stay, we ran into a few minor issues—like door keys that tended to stick, only two power plugs in the room (which wasn’t ideal), and a lack of curtains. The rooms can also be a bit noisy at times (especially when guests return late singing ;). These quirks didn’t ruin the experience, but they’re worth noting for anyone expecting more comfort or quiet.

Really friendly and helpful receptionist (speaks English perfectly), will give you any advice you need. They have a fridge and a freezer, some beach umbrellas, beach towels and even sun screen that you can use/borrow when going to the beach. A shower in the room is essential in high season.

Sporadic busses and motorcycles won't let you fall asleep till ~3 a.m.when it's 30+ outside (it's too hot if you close the window, it's too loud if you don't). So you'd better plan your day including spending half of the night on the beach or somewhere in the city. Wi-Fi works generally well, but has some sporadic lags.

I messed up my booking and the owner couldn't have been more understanding/accomodating if he tried. We just needed a stop off after the flight before a long bus journey so many of the cheaper places had awful reviews. This is clean and equipped each room had a teeny shower/loo. Free hot drinks, close to cafes and beach. The owner is so happy and friendly I think people treat the building well out of respect because I've never seen such a respected hostel.

The girls in the room next door stayed up all night loudly chatting - which happens in a hostel. Also it's opposite the main bus stop so you will hear buses pulling up. Saying this - I did sleep without ear plugs - just not all night- so bring plugs :)

Just a few walking minutes off the „Ballermann“ lays this cute family-owned Hostel. I had a Double room which i used as a single room. Check-in went smooth and the staff especially Olly is very friendly. With check in, he offers a free beach towel. Room was small, but exactly what you expect from a hostel. You get towels and hand wash. Two fans were present in my room with a ceiling and a standing one. Beds are comfy, as i had two to choose from. Bathroom was very small but had everything in it. Plugs are present near the bed.

The shower is very tiny, but enough for one person.

Overall a great experience. Great location, shops, restaurants, beach close by. When we had a request we always had help. Olly is one of the best hosts I've ever met. Your best option if you want a low price for value is this Hostal. We stayed here for a week with my family, with a baby. No complaints regarding the accommodation. Would stay here again, keep up the great work Olly! Negatives that are mentioned in a lot of reviews: Noise: With earplugs we didn't wake up once. Owner made sure that no one makes noise at night and no one bothers the other residents. It's a party area, if you want silence book the 20th floor of a hotel. Cleanliness: Room was cleaned very well, sheets and towels were provided. The dust on the balcony accumulates over time because of the wind, we wore flip flops and it didn't bother us. You can also sweep if you really want to. Air conditioning: There is no air conditioner. The fans cool the rooms well enough, sometimes even too well for us (😆). Don't come here expecting a 5* Hotel and you won't be let down, you get everything essential for a vacation here.

7AM and 11PM, loud garbage truck comes. Acts well as an alarm clock though lol.

The bus stop to the airport is 30seconds by walk. Beach is 5min by walk. Shops around area are very expensive. Make sure to look around to find cheaper prices and if there is not written the price, then try to get it cheaper. Hosts are quickly replying. It's not a hotel and not fancy-pancy but it does do it function: the roof and cold shower. You can leave your luggage in the storage room after check out if you still have time before the flight.
