Enjoyed our terrace with storks and hot air balloons.
We were not welcomed on arrival. The young woman was rather rude and unhelpful. Yes, we arrived before 3 pm checkin, but attitude was almost go back outside and wait. There was no, “unfortunately, your room is not ready,” but go somewhere and come back later. Even putting our luggage in storage seemed an imposition. The hotel itself was fine but difficult to get beyond this first impression. We asked about a terrace but that was not a possibility; then at breakfast the next day, we see there was a terrace where we could have sat and read while waiting. Perhaps just a bad day for her?

The hotel retains the charm of a beautiful historic building in the historic centre of Segovia, but all the rooms and amenities are modern, with spotless bathrooms and showers with an instant strong jet of hot water. The breakfast is exceptional. I particularly liked the selection of cakes. Younger children would love the Nutella on tap. The staff are friendly and helpful.
There is only one stopping place for a car at the hotel entrance and it was taken when we arrived. The hotel parking was fully booked. Nearest parking is 400m away on foot but complicated to drive to because of the one way streets. Also quite expensive at €25 per day.

The hotel is quite renovated, clean, and modern. They have a small but functional gym. It is well-located (just a few minutes by foot from the main attractions, e.g., the Cathedral and Alcazar). There is a small supermarket 15 min walking too.
Their parking lot can't get too many vehicles, but there is a public parking two blocks away. If you download and use the app, you can get 50% discount, but it does accept only Spanish credit cards (sic). The breakfast is ok, but they did not restock some items.

Breakfasts were very good and the rooms are comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect walking distance to everything you could possibly want to see and do.
It was difficult to locate the hotel and it would be beneficial if signage is improved, the one way system compounds this and driving through the narrow streets is stressful. Once found locating hotel parking is also difficult to find staff seemed a little exasperated with me as I struggled to understand how to drive there.

Exe Casa de los Linajes is a hotel brimming with character. We received a warm welcome from the great receptionist. Although we arrived an hour early, we only had to wait a few minutes before our room was ready. **Room Highlights:** - The fridge was impressively cold—a rare find during this trip, where most fridges only prevented things becoming warm. - There was a good desk and a comfortable seat in the room, making it an ideal space to work. - The shower was very powerful, which was a nice touch. - The balcony added to the charm and provided a pleasant outdoor space. - Breakfast was good
**Minor Issues:** - The bath did not drain properly when taking a shower. - The shower head tended to spin around when the water pressure was high, but the staff assured us they would fix it—I'm confident they would have sorted it out if I'd mentioned it during my stay. - The room lighting was somewhat limited and never quite bright enough.

Friendly welcome, nice lobby and well-equipped rooms, some with views. From the outside, the hotel looks small, but as it is built on a hillside, it has six floors. Some of the rooms (407 for example) have a nice view. Breakfast is served in a large, well-lit room with a terrace and offers everything you would expect from a good continental breakfast. We would definitely book the hotel again and can only recommend staying there.
Although not on a business trip, a work desk in the room would have been beneficial.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is well situated and provides private garage parking. Most importantly, all the staff are friendly and very helpful. Luis on reception, deserves a special mention as he is exceptional and helped us recover our passports left in our previous hotel. We can highly recommend this hotel. It provided us with the perfect base for exploring Segovia.
Although the nearby square offers many dining choices, it would have been nice to have the option of dining in the hotel in the evening. The restaurant is only open at breakfast times.

We stayed in the lovely old part of the hotel, in a terraced room, and ate breakfast in the new part, with its own large terrace. Views were of open countryside, as the hotel sits on the outer edge of Segovia. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Room was quiet.
Located a bit removed from the main square, but still about half way between the aqueduct and the alcazar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was outstanding. Great to have a secure and safe parking space beneath the hotel The staff were wonderful. very helpful and patient with our lack of Spanish. Most spoke and understood English very well. Provision of water in Reception area was welcome after a long walk in the heat.
Being English, a kettle in the room for a cup of tea would have been perfect plus a bottle of mineral water. Lovely touch of fresh water in Reception seating area but needs to be replenished regularly throughout the day.
