The property is on the beach, in a lovely lively area. The staff is super friendly and professional, room and bathroom are well equipped (even bottled water in the mini fridge) and super clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on! I appreciated a lot that everything is as sustainable as possible, making it even more worth it. Would absolutely go back and recommend it to people. It’s about 35 minutes from city centre by bus, tram or al underground and super well connected. Very safe neighbourhood. Went on a weekend night and even though lots of beach clubs has loud music, nothing was heard from inside the room (not sea view room). Breakfast at the restaurant was fresh, good portions and an amazing mix of salty & sweet dishes to choose from. Fresh juice and lovely coffee. Staff here was absolutely pleasant and professional.

If you seek an aesthetically pleasing hotel reminiscent of Wes Anderson films, Cassa Bassa is an ideal choice. With its sophisticated design, meticulous attention to detail, and a beautiful in-room terrace overlooking the beach, it offers a perfect experience. The hotel also features a stunning restaurant with expansive glass windows providing a picturesque view of the beach, perfect for welcoming the sunrise and enjoying breakfast. In terms of the staff, everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful in every situation.

The only drawback is the presence of an indicator for a roof terrace on the top floor of the hotel. However, it is closed off with a sign indicating that entrance is restricted to staff only. And, in my opinion, the pillows were very uncomfortable, but perhaps it's a matter of personal preference.

The staff was lovely. I arrived well before the stated check-in time but the room was already ready and I was allowed to check in immediately which I greatly appreciated. The room was stylishly furnished and very comfortable.

Unfortunately, the hotel is close to the “Marina Beach Club” which plays music well into the night/early morning. As I had the room facing the beach, I did have trouble sleeping. Not the fault of the hotel really and I’m sure had I asked to be moved to a quieter, courtyard-facing room I could have (although as I was only staying one night I didn’t bother). If you are looking to stay in one of the beach facing rooms, beware that you may hear the music from the beach club.

the room was newly renovated, modern and very nice. the patio felt open due to the windows towards the inside of the building, despite being "walled" on 4 sides. clear advantage to a balcony: shadow. staff was very helpful and nice. location cannot be better, directly in front of the beach and next to a dozen restaurants (it's a pity there's no exit to the beach though, but only the back of the building)

the door of the room still leaves space on all sides when closed. therefore you can hear outside noises, people speaking, the phone of the maid etc. as if they were standing next to you. woke us up more than once. also, huge amounts of mosquitoes will enter the room through those doorspaces. in the bath, we missed a place to hang the towels by the sink. the drawer above the fridge can't open due to the fridge door placement

Clean, great lightning and very comfortable. Great ocean view as well.

There wasn't much not too like.

The reception staff were so nice, very friendly & helpful in their approach. The decor of the rooms was so lovely, wonderful colours and homely. The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard on a daily basis. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. I had an internal room with a shared sort of balcony space. The breakfast choices were very generous and the food was very tasty and the restaurant looked out onto the beach. The Location on the beach was perfect to explore and go for a run. I had visited this stretch of beach a few years ago and wanted to return and stay in the area as it just a perfect setting. Tram and Metro to city centre easy within walking distance. Would definitely stay at Casa Basa in the future when I return.

The internal balcony courtyard was a bit odd. As I was out all day exploring I didn't feel I wanted to sit out there and probably wouldn't as it felt a bit like a fish bowl. I think some large pots of established plants to create a garden courtyard would look better. This is just my thoughts on the facility and it didn't affect my stay.

Right by the beach, so the view is stunning. Loved having a breakfast menu instead of a buffet. The restaurant is good. Spacious room and great with the terrace. The staff are very helpful, and it’s a nice touch that beach towels are available

There’s a lot of noise (loud music) from the nearby marina beach club until the early hours, so if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs or request a quieter room. Also, Room 109 lacks privacy on the terrace—it would be nice to have some sort of screen or shielding

The room was new and beautifully decorated w/ warm neutral colors. We could leave the window open and hear the sound of the waves. There was a small couch and the bathroom was spacious. They also have a large, beautiful restaurant. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. We were able to check-out later.

It was a bit pricey but well, it is a location in front of the beach. The paella in the restaurant was so-so. They also don't allow you to buy paella if only one person (in my opinion, they're losing out on customers that way. There are many sole travelers who don't have a partner to eat with).

Very happy with this hotel. All of the spaces are beautifully designed and very clean. The bed was super comfortable. There’s a tea pot with a good tea selection. The room was cleaned daily. It was very quiet in the evening, but we stayed here in January. The breakfast at the restaurant was great, no buffet, you order from the menu. We also had dinner there two times and can totally recommend it.

It takes about 30-35 minutes to get to the city center by bus or tram. But therefore you get to walk on the beach every day, so for us it wasn’t a disadvantage at all.

Location, staff was great, Rooms were nice

The terraces on the first floor are unusable because they are surrounded by rooms and corridors. And it is not comfortable and doesn’t deserve the extra cash. Also you cannot use it for smoking because it is a smoke free property and there is a fine it you smoke and kind of cigarettes. Also the breakfast is not very nice. Not a lot of options and honestly we didn’t like it.
