Happy Beach Resort exceeded all my expectations! The beachfront location is stunning, with beautiful sunsets and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were not only clean and comfortable but also tastefully decorated, making our stay feel even more special. The staff was truly amazing—always welcoming, attentive, and ready to help with any request. We loved the variety of food at the restaurant, with fresh and flavorful options every day. It’s the perfect destination for a peaceful and enjoyable beach vacation. I can’t wait to visit again!❤️❤️😍😍

This is a little private piece of paradise away from the hustle and bustle (but still close). Staff were so lovely and helpful, we especially appreciate Turak preparing our breakfast every morning and always smiling :) The room is romantic, and is quite literally on the beach! We enjoyed our private sunsets, swims and breakfast. The accomodation isn’t boastful and lavish, but is a humble island escape. Amazing value for money, would recommend to anyone!

Close to the sea, calm, beautiful sea view

We had a very small room without a view, without a proper window. It was explained as budget room. But the price was the same like for the room with a sea view, which was not correct. The positive thing was that the owner wrote us that we will not have the room with a sea view, but we didn ´t expect it will be that small. And there were missing some shelves and hangers.

Right on a beautiful beach which felt like it was private. We saw turtles! Very kind staff including the younger man ( I forget his name, I think it was Barack) who was so sweet and helpful. Delicious breakfast!

Our room was at the back ( which we were fine with) but it was quite noisy as it was on the main road with cars and tuk tuks all night. As the main road runs along the beach, this would probably happen in most hotels along the beach.

This is a lovely place right on the beach. We had a peaceful stay and wish it could have been longer! We were in room 1 which was very spacious and it’s helpful to have a fridge. We enjoyed breakfast, particularly the fruit juices every morning and you just can’t beat the view! The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. The manager (sorry, can’t recall name) and Tharuk were always smiley and happy to help.

Great place to stay with beautiful nature + The owner was super nice and accommodating. Lovely rooms, clean, comfy beds, great AC, great shower. The setting is epic straight o to the beach and is a short distance from the main Unawatuna beach and also turtle beach and a few.other beaches. Breakfast was lovely its huge and tasty i can recomend this place for others

It was amazing!! The room was overlooking the sea and literally on the beach! I had been craving a room with a view and this was it!! Clean, comfortable room with fridge, A/c, and plenty of hot water with a great overhead shower. Staff were so friendly and provided a plentiful breakfast.

The entrance was very dubious and I wondered if we had made a huge mistake! Looks can be deceiving!

Amazing views of the beach from the property. Literally having delicious breakfasts in the sand with the water lapping next to you. Can see turtles swimming in your own little private beach. The staff were exceptional. The breakfasts were delicious and staff were very attentive. Thanks for an amazing stay. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Given the price we paid for the accommodation we were very impressed! The rooms were good, it was right on the beach in a good location and the staff were fantastic and made us a decent breakfast! I'd recommend it if you're traveling on a budget!

The location was amazing and it was so peaceful and relaxing. A huge shout out to Tarik who greeted us every day with his beautiful smile. Thank you for looking after us so well.
