Welcomed by very friendly and helpful staff at reception who provided guidance regarding the city's transport systems - the nearest metro station is within 500 metres. We arrived in time to take advantage of afternoon "fika" - an added bonus. An evening meal - buffet format - was included within the room tariff and this was certainly more filling than the "light" description on the hotel's website. There was a large and varied selection of items at the continental breakfast which was equally as good and tasty as the evening meal. Our room was a good size with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom; good water pressure and range of temperature from the shower. The curtains provided good black-out, and we were able to open the window for added ventilation - not sure whether any other method, e.g. air con, was available to regulate the temperature. Although there wasn't any suitable secure storage area for a bike, the staff were happy for us to store ours in the room as there was plenty of space; (but not height capacity for the bike to remain on the car's roof in the underground carpark). Parking was available in a nearby underground carpark, although there was a charge for this. There seemed to be substantial tolerance regarding early check-ins and late check-outs, with the staff happy to permit us to leave our luggage in the locked storage room until the early evening following our visit to various sites in Stockholm.

Very nice and quiet spot. Just a short walk from the Stadion Metro Station. There are plenty of places to eat or drink around. The hotel offers breakfast and dinner, which is very nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is also very friendly and happy to help. If you run the Stockholm Marathon this is your hotel of choice, just a few meters from the start of the event.

Dinner was not so rich. I would like some bread or pasta or potatos in an everyday basis. The water pressure in the bath was low. The cleaning staff doesnt come, unless you ask for it the day before. However we always got what we asked, like towels, slipers or toilet paper, immediately.

Wonderful breakfast: freshly baked crispy bread, scrambled eggs, sausages, crispy bacon, butter, cheeses, fresh herbs, hearty ginger shots, yogurt, pancakes. Snacks for FIKA: coffee, tea with some kind of cake or pastry. Dinner: pumpkin soup, cheese, croutons, potato casserole, chicken, tacos. The room was a good size — clean and cozy. Free coffee and tea available 24/7. There’s a tap with drinking water where you can refill your bottles.

When we arrived, the third bed in the room hadn’t been prepared, but this was quickly resolved. The beer at the bar was quite expensive – around 125 SEK for 330 ml. There’s no metro station right next to the hotel; you need to walk a bit to get there.

The welcoming and helpful staff. The relaxed atmosphere. Good value, includes a great breakfast, fika and dinners. The location was a 20 minute walk into town. Good location for visiting the Olympic stadium.

Lovely hotel in a good location. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and cosy and it was lovely to have a room with large windows that opened fully! The breakfast was good and having fika and dinner included was excellent!

There wasn't any air con or fan and sleeping with the windows open did mean getting woken up by the bin lorries, people shouting walking past late at night etc. It is a quiet neighbourhood but there's still the usual city noises. The first night was more difficult to sleep as the room was very warm and stuffy and there was a party across the street that was loud, but the other nights were cooler and I got more used to the odd noises. I would stay here again if I was visiting when it's cooler as I really liked the hotel overall.

Spacious, comfortable, clean and close to the Metro station. Staff were really nice and helpful. The hotel breakfast was great with a variety of breads, hot and cold foods to satisfy all dietary types. The dinner was also really good and enjoyable with delicious mains, soups and salads. It was a real highlight and a nice way to end a long day. ‘Fika’ was also included but I didn’t get a chance to try it. The hotel is great for solo or group travellers or for families. Would stay here again.

Hotel reception is not 24 hours, there is no known process to check-out early unless you make enquiries in advance.

Home Hotel Tapto is very comfortable and has a warm, homely atmosphere. It may not be the most modern place, but it feels cozy and inviting, and the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. What really makes this hotel stand out is that it offers several complimentary meals throughout the day: breakfast, fika, and dinner. Breakfast was very complete, with a wide variety of breads, eggs, fruits, and yogurts. The fika was simpler, with a sweet treat, coffee and tea available, and dinner included a varied menu with soup and a main dish. On the day we dined, we enjoyed breaded chicken burgers with salad and a delicious mushroom soup. A very pleasant stay overall, with a true feeling of home.

Breakfast, dinner and fika was superior compared to most classy European hotels. There was coffee and tea service available throughout the day. The staff was exellent. Tobias and Daria from the reception and especially the kind and helpful Amina from the restaurant. You take the 57 or 67 bus very close to the hotel to go to most touristic places. This hotel puts a high standard for comparison.

The wardrobe for hanging clothes is too small

My sister and I were in Stockholm for the 40th anniversary race of Tjejmilen. This was the 5th time we had been for it. We usually stay in an apartment so we can cook ourselves but this year I found this hotel - with breakfast and dinner included. What a find. We were impressed with both meals and had enough to keep us going. The salad that is available with dinner was lovely. Tea and coffee is available at all times in the lounge and with a kettle in your room too which was perfect. The room had everything we needed - upgraded to a superior room. The large shower was lovely. The twin beds comfortable. There is a local supermarket which stocked anything you may need - but a bit expensive. The location is on good bus and underground routes to get to the centre of the city and then out to the airport. It was perfect for what we needed. I would recommend and I would stay there again.

The room was a little hot and the fan made a constant noise when on so we turned it off at night. The hotel can't control the weather. The dining room was a bit hectic at times but the staff did their best re-filling foods which had run low.

We always stay at this hotel because it is very close to my son's house. We feel very much at home and it is affordable for us. Being able to have dinner as part of the price is bonus. Even if we sometimes go out for dinner it is good value. Personnel is very kind and helpful. Lounge is cosy and there is good coffee 7/24.

I generally prefer if the room is cleaned every day. Here you have to tell the night before. Understandable but I still prefer if floors are cleaned and trash taken out every day even if sheets and towels are changed when requested.
