I was travelling for a meeting and the location of the hotel was perfect for me. There is not a lot to do around the area but there are a few dining options in a shopping mall nearby. The hotel was absolutely fine and clean. The staff were helpful and let me check in early. Breakfast was good and there was coffee and cookies 24/7 at the lobby.

The only thing that could be improved was the radiator in the room. It was a bit hot for my taste although it was super cold outside, and the temperature couldn't be adjusted. So I had to leave the window slightly open during the night to sleep well.

Check-in went very smooth. Rooms are super clean and they are changing all towels every day. Room is small, but modern, bed is comfortable. We had the best breakfast so far in this hotel, it's just amazing, it exceed our expectations. Also, all the day it's possible to have a coffee or a tea in hotel lobby. We enjoyed seating in hotel lobby, it was very cozy atmosphere for New Year.

The windows are pretty old, the room's temperature would be even higher in winter if there are proper windows in the room.

The breakfast was brilliant, so much choice. Coffee and cakes available during the afternoon was a lovely touch. Great location, maybe a five minute walk from the metro station and from there only two stops to the city's Central Station. Also walkable from the hotel to the city and also the museum district too where you'll find Vasa, Abba and much more.

Little storage in the room - no drawers or cupboards to hide anything away but didn't really bother us as we're only staying for two nights so travelling light!

We greatly enjoyed the breakfast, tasty and helped a lot in taking care of it for us. The location is in quite a nice neighbourhood although a ways walk to the city centre, about half an hour, or less than ten minutes to the nearest metro station. The room was excellent for what we needed.

It is a bit of a long walk to any of the city sites, or two stops on the metro to the city centre. However the walk is peaceful and in a nice area.

The hotel was brilliant, very clean and staff were brilliant. Loved the breakfast and how convenient the hotel is to all tourist attractions. Busses and train were both walking distance and it was super safe. I left my room open by mistake and staff made sure to close it and let me know, it is definitely a safe place. The hotel had this evening nibbles one of the days, I found that so sweet. I haven't seen that anywhere and will always remember that :)

Pillows were a bit painful for me. Bed was super comfy but pillows were a bit of a struggle.

I have to say that it was a pleasure to stay in the best western hotel karlaplan, I don't have anything to complain, everything was nice and clean, all the staff of the hotels was always very educate, nice and friendly. The hotel was very comfortable and it makes me feel as home, it has hot tea all day and cookies that makes you feel happy and warm everytime you arrive. The breakfast was spectacular every single day. I recommend the hotel. Congratulations to all that make it happen.

Very nice hotel for its price. Great location - not too central, but in a quiet district and a subway station Karlaplan in 3-4 min walk distance. You will also have a big shopping center with big grocery store inside next door to the subway entrance basically. Very friendly hotel workers, all smiling and speaking English (thanks for the choco easter egg upon arrival! :)) Really nice breakfast which I haven't expected much in a small hotel and that was included in the hotel price. Pancakes, sausages, fruits, bakery, cheese, omelettes, potatoes, veggies, etc. Even good coffee and apple and orange juice a one can really drink and not feel miserable. The room clean and standard, no big highlights. Really great that you can open the big window to gain some fresh air in the old style way. Anyway, for 75 Euro per night that was a great deal!

The breakfast itself was great but unfortunately the room where it took place was rather small. The tables are very close to each other. The pillows could be bigger ;) The bathroom clean but not modern.

Superb breakfast!

Concerning the room, a bad odor from drain in the shower? came regularly and was a discomfort as it filled the whole room. Only by keeping the light in the bathroom constantly on (and thus the fan in the bathroom) were we able to diminish the smell.

the hotel despite being small it was very cozy and had everything I needed. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast had a lot of options and was very good, and considering food prices in stockholm it was a shock to find how good and diverse was the breakfast buffet. The hotel also offered "fika" and drinks all day long. City center can be reached very easily by foot and a metro station is within minutes from the hotel, making the trip from and to Arlanda airport very easy.

Good location, friendly staff. My room was quiet and good size. The breakfast had a good selection of food, and was not overcrowded.

The lift was quite scary. I stayed on floor 7, and every time I went up, the lift would halt very abruptly right after floor 6, then accelerate to floor 8, and then go back down to 7 and open. Why!? Other than that, the only other complaint would be that the cord to the electric kettle was just a little bit too short (see photo).
