The “common Spaces” were great! (Specially the sauna/ practical gym/ relaxed area, lobby etc.). Location was great. Otto from the restaurant/bar was by far the most profesional and well focused in customer service of the whole team in that hotel. Thanks again Otto, for your kind solutions and affectivity in any matter, that’s how you do it! ;)

The “individual” room in K1 floor was by far the smallest room that I ever had in any hotel World wide (+ without window). The restaurant schedule was quite strange for an international hotel with customers from all over the world, I couldn’t manage to eat there and just had to order from the bar because it was always closed. The fact that room service is almost as expensive as what ever you order in the menu it’s a bit strange as well, never. Experienced that before in other hotels

Scandic Anglais was a welcome change from the Airbnb's we'd been staying in to save money throughout Norway. The room and bed were comfortable for our 6-night stay, the gym was terrific (weights, machines, cardio machines, resting area), and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with tons of variety and high-quality food. (There's also a sauna which I didn't get to try.) Location is fine, about a 20-minute walk from the train station, and close enough to restaurants and bars. Overall, a great place to say and worth the price.

My only complaint, and it is significant, is that there's a restaurant/club on one side of the hotel that plays VERY loud music until 2 am every weeknight (strangely, it was less loud on Friday night). We had to keep the windows open so as not to overheat (no hotels, as far as we found, have A/C in Scandinavia). So from about 11-2 the noise was terrible and really interfered with my sleeping. I'd stay here again, but only if I could be guaranteed a room on the other side of the building. The only other thing I would have appreciated is coffee/tea in the room, but I've found across Scandinavia that you don't get that until you go up to the more expensive rooms.

The hotel is suitable for a short stay. I rate the breakfast highly, the buffet is really rich and there is something for everyone.

I stayed in a room without windows (I was informed in advance). The room looks like a cellar and is more than enough for a night's sleep. However, the problem is the noise - something is constantly hissing in the room on this floor - sound technology, air conditioning, which replaces the missing window. It is difficult to sleep if there is no way to turn off the disturbing sounds. The second thing that did not suit me was the web application through which you have to book a table for breakfast, order room cleaning and other services. It may be a simplification, but if you don't make the request in time, there is no way to get the service, which is limiting.

I stayed at Scandic Anglais with my two kids, ages 9 and 14. The location, right next to Humlegården and very close to lots of public transportation, was excellent. We enjoyed the massive breakfast buffet and the room was spacious and comfortable, much larger than other hotel rooms that we have experienced in Stockholm. The staff were kind and helpful, even when my daughter accidentally locked the room safe and we needed assistance. There were lots of families with young children and some small tour groups from other European countries. We walked from the hotel to lots of attractions and could easily take the trams, buses and subways to everything else. We will definitely come back!

There was nothing we would change.

The park view from our standard double room was calming and beautiful. The windows were sound-proof so most of the Friday night bar life outside was kept outside. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The fridge was empty so you can decide what to fill it with. The location was convinient for visiting the Royal library in the nearby park and a short walk from the harbour and National museum. Plenty of restaurants close by, with vegan options. Breakfast had plenty of choice and there was a fridge with vegan stuff in it (hummus, vegan cheese, soy yogurt etc).

The breakfast had loads of animal products (sausages, ham, cheese etc), which is not sustainable for the planet (and of course also adds to animal suffering).

We loved the location - walking distance to all main sightseeing points, lots of museums and very pleasant neighborhood. being next to a big park behind national library was great for evening walks. Very safe and quiet neighborhood and super safe for Ney Years celebration in the hotel - we spent it with kids in the hotel bar with DJ and it was perfect celebration. Food and the people service - outstanding! Thank you so much and we will come back!

It was very convenient that this hotel also included a restaurant, where you could enjoy dinner if the weather wasn't nice. The ground floor bar was great, along with its staff, especially the fact that they served any cocktail you wanted for standard prices.

We were quite disappointed with the rooftop bar since there was nothing special to it, it wasn't very cosy either. We also hoped for some accessories in the bathroom like q-tips, cotton pads etc. Upon request, no slippers were provided even for extra pay.

Breakfast was the best! So great to have that cozy time and corner of the hotel to have to start the day! Best beds and location was amazing!

I would have liked to be able to book breakfast a bit more last minute, we got back to the hotel at midnight once and were not able to book a time for the next morning:( for the following days we didn’t have the option to get breakfast later than 8:30 which was quite early for us so it would have been nice to be able to get a later one but it might have been a problem with the website on my end!

Great location for access to many aspects of Stockholm including the metro, shops, bars, museums and the waterfront. Stayed in a twin single with a friend on the 6th floor facing one of the streets with a few bars and was comfortable for the two of us. A little bit of noise outside but nothing major for a capital city. Gym and sauna was excellent value for money. Gym had a small multi gym, free-weights with bench, and treadmills. free fruit and water available. Both male and female sauna with closely located showers (swimmers to be worn) within the fitness facility. All free of charge and just need to ask reception to turn the sauna on 20 minutes in advance Breakfast was great, with plenty of options for everyone and open from 7am-11am Would definitely stay there again if returning to Stockholm

Bed and pillows could be slightly more comfortable, but as expected at a hotel

The room was comfortable and cozy, and really silent. The hair dryer was broken but they lent me another one right away, which was great. The breakfast was wonderful and the highlight of the accommodation for me. The location is good and you could walk to the city center, or take the metro not far away.

Despite being comfortable, the room didn't have any natural light, which really took away from the experience.
