I stayed at Hotel Söder during a quick visit to Stockholm, and I was really impressed. The timing coincided with the Ice Hockey World Championships, so most places were fully booked—and finding this hotel was an absolute steal for the price. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the whole hotel had a cozy, welcoming vibe. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and I loved the extra touches like the board games in the lounge. The location is fantastic—right in a very nice part of the city, with great access to public transport, restaurants, and local sights. Given how busy Stockholm was that weekend, I feel lucky to have found Hotel Söder. Great value for money, and I’d definitely stay again!

Bohemian neighbourhood. Fun area. Room was fine and breakfast very good.

Not a huge issue but the picture in the site of a long table is certainly not there.

For a solo travel it’s nice to only pay for one bed, this price is hard to beat in Stockholm. The rooms are tiny, small but comfortable bed, no window (or actually there’s a tiny one behind the curtain), bathroom was nice and decent size. Breakfast is not amazing but it has a little bit of everything and will give you a great start. The location is amazing, short walk to subway station or you just keep walking and hit multiple iconic Stockholm sights. Would really recommend for short stays (a couple of nights) for both solo travels or anyone on a budget.

This hotel was fantastic, situated right in the middle of everything, rooms were perfect for a city break, staff went above and beyond, they checked us in 3 hours early without extra charge and even made us a packed breakfast when we told them we were leaving early. Absolutely fantastic!! We will definitely be back!

Nothing at all. This hotel was every thing we needed and more. Coffee was excellent too, there was lots of nice treats too!

It's a small place with only a dozen of rooms. But it's very quiet and comfortable. I could rest, have my breakfast, and work from there as well. Hot drinks and cookies available at all times. Stuff is very friendly. And location is superb.

Would be great to have a floor wiper to get all the water out of the way after taking shower, because the bathroom is pretty small, and it takes ages for it to dry out by itself. Maybe a bit warmer blanket for the winter, because air conditioning works too well.

Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated the filtered water, coffee, and biscuits available 24/7. All our interactions with the staff were friendly and the location was very well situated.

The rooms are small but expected for the price and location.

I loved the breakfast included in the initial price. The autonomy left to the customers was very appreciated. The location was super useful to reach Gamla stan and have good attractions close

The private bathroom wasn’t too comfortable: very small and not too functional. You cannot admire a view of the city from your room, indeed it was a downstairs hotel.

Hotel Soder is a well priced, extremely clean small hotel. The owner and staff could not have been more helpful or more friendly during our stay. The internet was great. Coffee and tea and crunchy crackers are available all day and the (hot and cold) breakfast was extremely tasty and extremely generous. Situated in vibrant Sodermalm, supermarkets are just around the corner and the hotel is a short walk (of about 15-20 minutes) past cafes and shops to Gamla Stan, the boats and the buses and to greater Stockholm. We could not fault this hotel, recommend it and would stay again.

Since we basically slept and at breakfast there, it was beyond perfect for my spouse and I, and my MIL had her own single room. Small but safe, clean, perfect, and great price. Staff was very nice and smiley. Breakfast was better than expected!

The staff at the hotel was super welcoming, cheerful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise, we did not expect such a spread. The location is also excellent, Södermalm is such a great area, felt very quirky and hip.

There is little daylight to be had but this cannot be helped as the hotel is based in subterrain, so there are only smaller windows
