I stayed in the CHIC rooms which were spacious and had amazing views of the mountain. I used this hotel as my base to spend 2 nights in Grindelwald and for visiting Jungfraujoch. There is a Coop grocery store 3 minutes walking at the terminal which has any product you need. This hotel met all of my expectations. Comfortable bed, good Water pressure, perfect room temperature, decent breakfast, morning espresso machine, microwave/shared kitchen area and the Grill Bar were all amazing. I messaged the hotel with all of my questions before arriving to ensure I knew what I was getting myself into. The hotel responded to everything in a timely manner. A special shoutout and gratitude to Klara at the front desk, who is simply top notch with her hospitality 💯

- Location is literally next to the train and bus terminals so you can easily go wherever you need to. - Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable - Breakfast was actually good, the basics are covered + some others so can't complain - Staff was veey attentive and helpful, supporting at your disposal

Overall there are no real complains, everything was very nice. If I would want to be picky to help improve experience my 2 cents would be: - Put a mirror in the room, my wife was struggling trying to get ready without mirror as it only available in the bathroom but if the other person is using it then you would have to wait. - There is no extractor im the bathroom (at least I was not able to find it) hence you can infer that it kind of uncomfortable for some time - Would be nice to have a mini night table next to each side of the bed

Simple yet modern design building. The Chic rooms in the orange building area look simple and nice and they maintain it very clean too. Of course, the best is the views there. You can see mountain views out from any windows. The location is very near to Grindelwald Terminal station. They also provide simple standard breakfast buffet. Overall, I'm happy with my stay.

Connection between the 2 buildings. The buildings to reception, breakfast, and lounge area are not connected to the chic rooms area(orange building), so we need to walk around it to go for breakfast and check in or check out. I recommend they change the luggage storage room near the reception area, which is safer instead of the current location.

The view was incredible, the grill/bar rooftop also has amazing views! It was really great to have that as an option for drinks since the town centre is a walk (but the train station next door solves this too!) The breakfast was so appreciated - I thought the selection was great, coffee was great, everything was full the entire morning, and I particularly loved the fruit salad. The staff was always super helpful and friendly! They let us know that the street festival was happening and assisted us in planning our trip up to Jungfraujoch.

The room is basic - no fridge or coffee maker, but we didn’t mind at all!

The accommodations are far from luxurious, but very practical and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, and the staff were super helpful. The location was perfect - easy walking to the train station, bus stop, and gondola. Easy 5-minute bus ride to Grindelwald's main street with lots of nice shops and restaurants.

The food at the Grill next door was mediocre, particularly the vegetarian fare. That said, the restaurants we went to up the hill via bus were excellent.

- the location is great . It takes around 3 minutes to get to the terminal (Eiger, Mannlichen, trains and buses) - amazing staff who is ready to support and help you in every situation - comfortable rooms and bad lines - many places to interact with friends in the evenings - breakfasts are the same each day but you can find there the things to eat . And coffee machine is amazing ) - parking is available but in the evenings it’s difficult to find the place even if you have already paid for it.

- Lighting system in the room. It’s not possible to switch the light only for toilettes (you switch the light in the corridor and shower simultaneously ) that it’s not convenient during the night - no door to the shower and mirror on the opposite door. Mind it if you travel with children or friends to organise a space

The property is situated perfectly in sight of the alps in the distance! With the right room booked (we booked the chic room, and got a 3rd floor room), the views from your BED are spectacular!!! Imagine waking up to the sight of the alps (with some luck, it can get very cloudy/foggy some days) in the distance!! The room was clean and simplistic, with enough compartment and space to place your things in the room. The toilets were clean, and there is hot water running in the taps. The breakfast was alright. The location is very near to Grindelwald Terminal, less than 5 mins. (which gives you access to most places in Interlaken/Grindelwald conveniently)

The property was a little pricey, but well worth the money when compared to other properties in the vicinity. We didnt like the fact that the bathroom has no door, which means if you value privacy, you will have to communicate with your roommate (if any) to avoid the bathroom when you want to take a shower because it is exposed. The toilet has a door though. The chic rooms are seperate from the lobby and breakfast area, so you will have to wear comfortable clothes for the weather even if it’s a short distance outdoors to get to the lobby/breakfast area. Wish there was an indoor path to get to the lobby directly from the Chic rooms.

Other than stated below everything exceeded our expectations. Views were amazing, staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were incredibly clean. The bar & grill was really handy after a long day. The Eiger Lodge had everything you could possibly need.

I didn't like that the beds were 2 singles pushed together, you fell into the dip everytime you rolled over. Perhaps a double mattress topper and protector when made as a double to help illuminate the dip? There was a kettle on site but Perhaps one in the room would of been nice with a basic tea try. Some pastries at breakfast would of given a few more options.

The best place today. Everything was fabulous. Our room had the best views it was beautifully cosy and warm after long cold days. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. We loved going into the bar and grill and food there was excellent. The best location as you have the terminal literally 2 minutes away and also you can have a beautiful walk from the hotel (15 mins-ish) into the village. We will definitely come back.

I couldn’t fault anything

This hotel is really very good, its location can be far away from the noise of the town, can let travelers quietly enjoy the spectacular scenery of the snowy mountains, but at the same time its location is not far from the town, the bus is five minutes away, the bus stop is also just 100 meters. Especially let me thank is the hotel's service, one night we forgot to bring the room card, but that has been early in the morning, when and the front desk staff to get in touch with the front desk, they still the first time to drive back to the front desk, and give us a replacement card. The breakfast at the hotel was also very good!
