The Room was not bad, it was medium sized. The bathroom was okay. Best part of the room was the balcony and the views of the majestic mountain in front of us without any block. The breakfast was also nice but lacked egg dishes which was weird. We were there for 1 night only, so it was okay for us.

The location of the hotel does not lie when it says 5 mins walk but during winter it becomes quite a steep 10-15 mins walk in the snow with your luggage which is specially difficult while going uphill. Also, I think the room looks bigger in picture that it actually is.

Comfortable room and bed. Of four hotels I stayed in and notified I was vegan, this was the only one to reply and they brought in soya yoghurt and milk especially and there was dairy free spread anyway. This made breakfast more balanced for me. The views from our room and the breakfast bar are stunning. There is traffic noise, but you would get that in most places in Grindelwald and it was quiet by later evening anyway so it isn't a problem

No kettle in the room. There was easy access to one downstairs but you'd need your own teabags etc

I got very lucky booking this room as it gets booked quite easily. This was one of my highlights to my trip here. The view from the balcony was just spectacular. That alone is worth it! The staff were also very accommodating and helpful. They gave excellent recommendations on what to do. The facilities were clean (they encourage footwear outside the room or put on a shoe tray) and the property is a short walk from the train station. You also get a free breakfast. What more can you want?

This is a lodge, so it’s made of mainly wood. So you will be hearing creaking and footsteps from other people staying, but this is a very minor nit-pick from the big picture.

10 min walking distance to the Grindelwald train station! Room with wonderful view of snow mountain!! And we bought Jungfrau mountain -Top of Europe Tickets at the reception! Staff is so friendly

There is no lift in this hotel, we have to bring our luggage up to 2 level, it's tough... and for the water if you need have to go down to the first floor in front reception. No hot water machine only have the kettle you need to boil the hot water by yourself

The location and breakfast were good. The room was clean.

One staff member (Daniel) was very kind and patient but another staff member (lady) was not kind and showed some disrespect when I asked some questions more than once (about getting the local bus pass). She seemed annoyed and was raising voice. Impatient!

There is no elevator so going up to rooms (ours was on the top floor) became a struggle. There was also only 1 laundry machine, which was not operational 24/7. It would’ve been less hassle if we were able to do our laundry after a day full of activities.

staff was great and very helpful. the breakfast is delicious with a wide range choices :) they allow the parking until 14:00, which enough time to visit First during the morning without worrying about parking. they have small cabinets where you can buy instant noodles and sodas.

for rooms with bathroom included they provide soap/shampoo in a small little package. if you have long hair you might need more than what they offer.

I really like our stay in Jungfrau Lodge. SThe location is facing the dreaming land and you will have mountain view during breakfast. Inside the hotel theres washing machine you are allowed to to use also(5CHF) . Which is perfect for us who like to clean our clothes! Not only that, the staff is really really friendly and nice to everyone.

Not really their fault but i think other guests knowns from other hotel also using the washing machine in our hotel which makes us wait slightly longer to wash the clotges.

The rooms were very spacious & comfortable. Basis but perfect for what we needed for the trip. The breakfast is a buffet and a good choice of things to eat. The location is amazing & we had a Mountain View which was just breathtaking! Everything we wanted to do in Grindelwald was accessible to us.

We had a room facing the mountain and it was beautiful, we were lucky enough that it was snowing during the evening when we arrived. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, there is a mini bar in the reception to get essentials and the breakfast was amazing.

Nothing, we had a really positive experience with no issues to raise. Definitely coming back again.
