Andrea in particular and all other staff were excellent and very helpful. Room very cosy and comfortable(a little too warm at times, from the dryer nearby I think). Breakfast was ample and coffee machine very good. View from the meals room was awe inspiring. Trust system drinks fridge was a nice and welcoming touch, even though we didn't use it!

Opening windows to cool down room allowed a nice cool breeze, but also flies and mosquito's. Fly screens on the windows would be helpful

The Room was not bad, it was medium sized. The bathroom was okay. Best part of the room was the balcony and the views of the majestic mountain in front of us without any block. The breakfast was also nice but lacked egg dishes which was weird. We were there for 1 night only, so it was okay for us.

The location of the hotel does not lie when it says 5 mins walk but during winter it becomes quite a steep 10-15 mins walk in the snow with your luggage which is specially difficult while going uphill. Also, I think the room looks bigger in picture that it actually is.

Comfortable room and bed. Of four hotels I stayed in and notified I was vegan, this was the only one to reply and they brought in soya yoghurt and milk especially and there was dairy free spread anyway. This made breakfast more balanced for me. The views from our room and the breakfast bar are stunning. There is traffic noise, but you would get that in most places in Grindelwald and it was quiet by later evening anyway so it isn't a problem

No kettle in the room. There was easy access to one downstairs but you'd need your own teabags etc

The best location near Grindelward Banholf, First and Eiger Express cable car stations. The hotel staff are warm-hearted, kind, professional and hospitality, and even offer me early check-in when I get to Grindelward around 11:00am. Not mention to delicious breakfast I have ever had staying in Switzerland. From hotel’s balcony, you can see the best view of dream hill. 10 out of 10! satisfaction!!

Jungfrau Lodge is a perfect place to base for visiting the Grindelwald valley area. Great breakfast to start your day. Nice and quite at night. Less than 10 min walk to train station, shops and restaurants. Views to die for of the Eiger and valley below. Staff very helpful and excellent English

No lift is always a shame but most people are pretty mobile if travelling to this area.

The hotel is really well-equipped, with a beautiful environment and a very comfortable stay. Two of the hotel front desk staff had very nice attitudes, while the other one was a bit arrogant and had a very strange attitude when chatting. The hotel includes breakfast, and although there are not many varieties, it is really delicious.

10 min walking distance to the Grindelwald train station! Room with wonderful view of snow mountain!! And we bought Jungfrau mountain -Top of Europe Tickets at the reception! Staff is so friendly

There is no lift in this hotel, we have to bring our luggage up to 2 level, it's tough... and for the water if you need have to go down to the first floor in front reception. No hot water machine only have the kettle you need to boil the hot water by yourself

I got very lucky booking this room as it gets booked quite easily. This was one of my highlights to my trip here. The view from the balcony was just spectacular. That alone is worth it! The staff were also very accommodating and helpful. They gave excellent recommendations on what to do. The facilities were clean (they encourage footwear outside the room or put on a shoe tray) and the property is a short walk from the train station. You also get a free breakfast. What more can you want?

This is a lodge, so it’s made of mainly wood. So you will be hearing creaking and footsteps from other people staying, but this is a very minor nit-pick from the big picture.

One staff member (Daniel) was very kind and patient but another staff member (lady) was not kind and showed some disrespect when I asked some questions more than once (about getting the local bus pass). She seemed annoyed and was raising voice. Impatient!

Spacious room with amazing mountain view. 5 minutes walking distance from the train station, 10 minutes into the town centre. There is a self service laundry facility in the hotel which is super convenient. Nice breakfast. It would be good to have a small fridge in the room.
