The hotel has a beautiful view, and the staff were super friendly. They had everything ready for our check-in and even lent us an umbrella so we could enjoy the city despite the rain. The shared kitchen had all the basics we needed to cook a meal without any hassle. The shower is easily the highlight for me, strong pressure and super relaxing!

The only downside was the parking fee. There was plenty of space, so it felt unnecessary to charge for it. Free parking would have made the experience even better.

Make sure you get the bus up from train station and dont try to walk it like we did you will thank me later 😂

An awesome property!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Beds are very comfortable. The view of Eiger is the cherry on the cake.

If you miss the last bus(5.30pm), be ready for a 10min very steep hike.

Very nice and clean alpine hotel. The rooms were a little bit small and the suite was basically only two small rooms done together with joint bathroom, but the price for 3 persons was top. Location with great view. Worth the money.

When you try to get there in ski shoes it’s really uthill and not easy walk. The bus from the lifts is running only twice an hour. Breakfast a bit too expensive for what you get.

Staff was very friendly especially Margareta! Breakfast was delicious and she kindly prepared a pork free meal. The bus was a little confusing but after calling the hotel, the staff guided us and we could bus or walk (preferrably without luggage).

Maybe the hotel can add the information on how to get there from the train station such as "Take bus 122 towards Klusi/Gaggi Sage". Hotel staff was amazing but the tourist information centre at the Grindelwald terminal could not help us at all.

The location was amazing! very high up with excellent views. Was a clean and lovely place, decor was modern, room size was lovely and huge.

We came in December so was snowy, the road to get to the hotel was small and steep. The area to park was not gritted, therefore parking was not easy even though we paid an additional charge for the service.

The location is top notch, the staff were very pleasant and rooms were tidied each day and fresh towels too. Very quiet place, with lovely outdoor deck chairs overlooking the fantastic mountain landscape. Breakfast was a little pricey, but very good. The room with a balcony looking out over the Eiger was exceptional!

Separate bathroom across the corridor was a pain only if you needed the loo during the night as there was another guests room between the two rooms. Car parking extra charge was a bit steep!

I am glad to find this eiger view alpine lodge, the overall experience is just same as the name ! went on mid of November, the hotel just renovated so all looks new ! water pressure is strong, bed is soft, fixture and furniture are full which meet what we needs, staff - Jenifer, who are really a helpful person, give all the info like transportation and food, we were really happy in our 4d3n stays honeymoon in grindelwald ! thanks to the lodge team and we will definitely come again !

remember take 122 bus to gaggi sage when you arrived in grindewald, otherwise u need a 20 mins incline walk!

Perfect location, woke up every morning of our 4 night stay to beautiful views of the Eiger and also the town of Grindelwald. There is a super convenient bus service that runs every hour to and from Grindelwald with the stop only being a minutes walk from Eiger View. The room itself was really comfortable and perfect for us, also special mention to the breakfast, it filled us up perfectly for the day and it was full of local tasty produce. We can definitely recommend the scrambled egg and bacon. The customer service was exceptional, with a friendly welcome and information provided about the property, and when it was time for us to leave we felt sad to be leaving Eiger View. I really cannot recommend this accommodation enough, and we will definitely be coming back to Eiger View in the future to experience more of what Grindelwald and the Jungfrau region itself has to offer.

There is genuinely nothing that we didn’t like.
