Beautiful location, perfectly positioned for exploring the Sustenstrasse and Furkastrasse. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and a hot shower were all on offer. Ernst made us feel very welcome and we appreciated his hospitality - if only all hoteliers operated the same way. While we may have been his only guests on that particular night he laid on an extensive and very tasty breakfast for us. Don’t overlook this property if you’re looking for something in the area. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

I had to leave early (6 AM) but the owner arranged me a small breakfast on the last night.

The property is located in a very good location. The owner is really nice and very helpful. He waited for us to reach the property to handover the key. We were really happy. The river at the door step was really nice. There are couple of restaurants near by which provide very tasty food but bit expensive. The Hotel itself offers breakfast which is okay for the price.

The property needs to be improved in terms of look, comfort. Perhaps bit of renovation and painting. Other than that its okay to stay there for couple of days if you don't expect luxury.

Excellent location, clean, good breakfast. Potential to be a nice place to stay but it needs a serious makeover. Very dated rooms and en-suite. Just not an inviting vibe when it comes to eating there. Outside seems drab and again an uninviting place to be. Expensive place to stay for what you get.

The chef who was apparently the in charge of the property blamed my family for taking shower keeping its shower cubicle open as the reason for water seepage in the room below. I reasoned that no sensible person will keep shower door open and take bath and instead check the maintenance and condition of the bathroom floor and pipes. At the end of our stay and taking payment, the Chef resorted concluding the incident with inappropriate tone and language which was in fact a disturbed and regretful stay for our family in this hotel. Hope a local inspector of hotels would check if this property has proper maintenance fit for customers to take bath which i hope you all will agree is a basic element to qualify for a hotel and secondly the hotel is supervised by a competent manager with a basic hospitality qualification or training to speak to customers. CAUTION: The Chef wanted to claim insurance from me for his poor hotel maintenance.
