From the moment we arrived, we felt an immediate sense of warmth and welcome. The room was comfortable and cozy. The owners went above and beyond in their hospitality, treating us not just as guests, but as cherished friends. Their genuine kindness and attention to detail created an atmosphere of comfort and care that is rare to find. The culinary experience was exceptional. The meals were delightful journeys of flavors, prepared with love and international influences from the traveling experiences by the owner (who is the main chef). We apreciated the personal touch in every dish. Our stay at hotel Victoria was made even more memorable as we celebrated my husband's birthday. We were pleasantly surprised with music and champagne, and the owners brought him beautiful stones known for bringing hapiness. The entire restaurant joined the celebration, making it a heartwarming evening. It was a beautiful experience, filled with joy and community spirit. We can't wait to return and relive this wonderful experience. PS: Special appreciation for having employees other nationalities who didn't speak swiss, trying to integrate them in the community.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The service/people. Simon, Franziska and the entire team were fantastic. We felt really welcomed on arrival and that set the tone for the remainder of our stay. The food was great, the location of the hotel and the town were ideal for exploring the Alps and alpine passes. We would definitely return here again (and soon)!

Nothing to dislike.

Such a wonderful hotel. Gorgeous rooms, delicious food, and the owner (Simon) was so friendly and kindly helped my husband and I set up our ski touring equipment in his downstairs workshop and even gave us tips on ski touring because he is an incredible athlete! We so appreciated all the attention to detail at his fabulous hotel - highly recommend.

Room is quiet and clean. Love the bathroom. Reasonable breakfast buffet. Happy to see welcoming fruits in room. Good location - just next to train station and supermarkets. Not much to see in meiringen but a good option to stay away from crowds and short distance trips to brienz.

No mini fridge and kettle in my room. I had to get hot water in lobby which costs me chf3 (did’t notice it is not free until i got the bill later) perhaps it’s a norm in swiss but don’t expect international tourists know it.

The attention to detail was remarkable—everything was just right. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the bathroom spotless, and the overall experience was refined without being over the top. We absolutely loved our stay!

Absolutely nothing

Excellent hotel with an amazing staff. Location is perfect, in the heart of Meiringen and close to the train station. The restaurant is also one of the best options in town. The staff is very kind and help me with a lot of indications what to do in the region. I truly recommend Victoria Alpine boutique hotel.

The support of the owner providing travel intineraries for our motorcycle tour through the Alps Passes. The Great Food in Michelin style dinners. Kindness of all the team. Brand Knew Facilities, modern style.

Nothing, everything was great !

Personnel were extremely welcoming and professional throughout the stay. Breakfast and Dinner were much appreciated! Dinner carte aligned with fine dining! Afternoon cake is a great idea to welcome back guests after their daily outing! Superior room cleanliness perfect.

The superior room was too warm for my liking and windows did not open fully for fresh air exchange.

This is a lovely hotel that is run with care—the attention to every detail is evident and appreciated. Calm, elegant interior and a pleasant layout overall. Wonderful restaurant featuring an adventurous range of flavors and cuisines and kind, welcoming staff.

Breakfast service was unexpectedly slow for items that were not self-serve.

Clean and accessible. It was a 2 minute walk from train station. Nice lounge and restaurant.

The only negative points IMO: - no AC or even fan - no iron
